This quiet, country home is just minutes away from Beaches, Wineries, the Arroyo Grande Village (shopping/restaurants), and Lopez Recreation Lake. Enjoy peace and tranquility while taking in the views of rolling hills, meadows, vineyards, deer, birds, and even a full ocean view from your deck! On our property, we typically have chickens, goats, and friendly dogs. Sometimes we have cows and/or pigs. If you have youngsters that are interested in a ranch tour, feeding farm animals, and taking a tractor ride, please be sure to ask us!

This charming home is located in a country setting near equestrian centers and several beautiful acres of famous California coastal agricultural land. In 10 minutes, you'll find yourself in the darling old town 'Village' of Arroyo Grande where shopping, restaurants and antiques abound. 5 minutes further away, and you'll find yourself at world-famous Pismo Beach. 10 minutes the other direction and you'll enjoy some of the best wineries that the Central Coast has to offer. Fresh Farmer's Markets can be attended several days of the week, or you just might enjoy visiting the 'Happiest City in America' while you're here; San Luis Obispo...a mere 15 minutes away. More of a recreation-lake person? Don't miss visiting Lopez Lake for fishing, hiking, boating, or wildlife viewing...again, just 10 minutes away!

A beautiful home to stay for the weekend! Quiet and peaceful time. My children enjoyed the fresh air and my wife loved the farm itself. Great host and close to all amenities. Sandy was the best host anyone could ask for.

The hosts were very welcoming! The home had amazing views, very clean and cozy! Their 3 dogs, goat and cows made even for a better experience as it even felt more like home. The animals were just as welcoming! The home was only 20 min from beach, 15 from town, but far enough out to give you the country experience. Highly recommended

Beautiful retreat

My husband, dog, and I had a wonderful stay. The owners were so hospitable and their dogs were so friendly. We loved exploring the property with beautiful views and farm animals. The location was perfect for peace and quiet while still convenient, being just 10-15 minutes from town and Pismo Beach. The guesthouse itself was the perfect size for us. The kitchen was well stocked, and we enjoyed the added benefits of having access to the deck and the gym on the bottom floor. We hope to stay again!

Cozy like home

Wonderful property up in the hills of Arroyo Grande. 10 min drive to beach, 5 min drive to cute downtown cafes and delicious restaurants. Super easy check in process, spacous guest house and bonus space for doggies! My kids and I felt right at home, we will definitely come back!

Wonderful vacation spot.....

A wonderful family friendly accommodation! Everything was perfect! Our children enjoyed the animals and tire swing/tether ball. Thank you for including them in your 4th of July celebration, too! The home is clean with everything you need. Sandy and Gorge are wonderful hosts!

Thoroughly enjoyable

We had a very nice stay at this property. It has a rural feel, with agriculture and small ranches/farms in the area, but it is only a few minutes from the Arroyo Grande village and Hiway 101. We loved the back deck and used it often. The sunsets were awesome. We've stayed in many short-term rentals over the years and can say Sandy is the best communicator of all the owners we've ever dealt with. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Beach Weekend

Perfect weekend get away with our family. Beach is about a 15 minute drive. House has all the amenities you could possibly need. Full kitchen, coffee pot (with coffee!) The house is very clean and comfortable. Sandy was an awesome host, offering help and assistance with anything we may need. The added treats she left for us was very thoughtful. We'd definitely stay again!

Cute little upstairs cottage

We enjoyed staying here but the stairs were a big hindrance to us. It would be nice to have two bathrooms on the upper floor. Itā€™s a cute place except for the stairs. It was nice being in a country setting. Loved the dogs, chickens and goats. The area provided for our dog was nice.

if you are looking for peace and quiet, look no further, this is it!

We stayed one week at this peaceful, relaxing country cottage. We were residents of Arroyo Grande who sold our home and needed a place to stay while visiting our daughter. The owners, who also live on the property, were very accommodating and helpful. The pictures and description are accurate. We loved having our morning coffee on the deck.Our dog also loved the morning dog get togethers with the laid back country neighboring dogs.We spent most of our time during the day out and about and looked forward to returning to unwind and relax. We know where we are staying when we return to the area ! Conveniently located for sight seeing, day at the beach, wine tasting, or staying put .Would recommend this to my friends and family.

HIDDEN GEM!

I don't even know where to begin. This is one of those places that the pictures do not do it justice!! The property, the house and most of all Sandy, Jorge and their kids were all wonderful. And best of all we were able to bring our little dog Max. Max enjoyed the open space along with the goats and pigs as much as we did. (ps I think the goats and pigs were cleaning than Max) Wine tasting was the first agenda on our list when we planned our trip, but after we got to house everything changed. We ended up relaxing most of the morning on the great porch which overlooked the valley and you could even see the ocean and dunes . We ended up staying in at night and cooking (thanks to my Sister in law) after a trip to the wonderful farmers market in Arroyo Grande. Ok yes we did end up hitting quite a few wineries on our way exploring the beautiful country side. Sandy also told us about a great dog beach we went to on Sunday which we all enjoyed very much. I only wish VRBO had an additional star called Excellent, Excellent, Excellent!! So I give this place 6 stars. Thank you again Sandy and Jorge for making our weekend so wonderful. Great to be out in the country

This is a great guest house (upper level) with a beautiful countryside view from the private deck! The kitchen was very well stocked, plenty of towels, etc. It was just the two of us, but sleeps more. The property owner was very easy to reach, but no problems here!

Weekend get away

Everything from booking to staying there went so smoothly. The owners were very welcoming and communicated with us daily. The location of the rental was very convenient. It was clean and roomy enough for everyone. Iā€™ll definitely look into returning g here in the future.

Retreat from Family

Patrick and I were in Edna Valley for my nephew's wedding and all my brothers and sisters and their family were going also. My family is great, but it was nice for Patrick and I to have our own space and still be close enough to join in family gatherings. Sandy (our hostess) was wonderful. She gave us good tips on good wineries to enjoy (Wolff Vineyards was great) and the view from our deck was a wonderful place to unwind with wine and cheese. We enjoyed their friendly dogs, goats, and the daily line up of the chickens outside our door. We would recommend this place for anyone.

Wonderful experience - retreat from the hustle and bustle

Our family had a terrific time and the hosts were so thoughtful and inviting. From the timely communications to the treats for the kids, all our needs were met and then some! We had a grand tour of the property including the chickens and goats. Our little puppy also loved hanging out with the dogs. Thanks for al the recommendations for restaurants and beach. We hope to be back again soon!

Perfect place for children and adults

We very much enjoyed the one week stay and the warm welcome. Our 3 year old enjoyed the daily collections of eggs awaiting patiently the hens leaving the nest. The location is perfect for all kind of activities, not far from perfect hiking trails in the mountains and walking on the beach and the dunes. We hope to come again.
