This cozy beach hideout is part of a triplex home and is steps from the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. It's a hidden gem down a discreet little road directly off 'The Stripā€™ and across the street from the infamous Sharky's Restaurant. We've created a bright beachy dwelling with an earthy surfer vibe. We've named it 'The Yard' because we feel the large private yard is one of its best assets. The newly landscaped yard is the perfect hang out after a long day at the beach!

Think white-washed floors and jute rugs, bright green plants and cozy linens. Our little beach bungalow has all the amenities a vacationer could need. A new Queen sized Linenspa bed in the master bedroom, and a twin sized bunk in the guest room. The full-sized bath is equipped with fresh towels, extra bathroom supplies, and a hairdryer. The kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare a feast, just bring the food and store in the large fridge/freezer. The living area has a cozy couch and a large Roku TV.

This is a private dwelling, everything on the property is yours including the large green back yard. You do have the option to share the yard with your neighbors by opening the shared gate.

Please note : This property is separate from The Origin at Seahaven property and guests that book at 'The Yard' will not have access to the Origin property amenities.

This rental has its own parking spot plus access to overflow parking. Many popular restaurants, convenience stores and golf-cart rentals are all within walking distance.

This property is pet friendly with a pet fee of 75 dollar per pet for a MAX of 2 dogs (50 LBS or less) unless specifically approved by property management at Beach Haven Vacation Rentals.

The location is perfect for an easy walk to the beach and several restaurants. The yard is perfect for pets and the unit is cozy for a small group. We had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable.

Itā€™s a lovely place, but the outdoor patio had some unsightly feces, which Iā€™m not thrilled about. My puppy wonā€™t go outside to relieve itself, and also the kitchen some dirty. Thanks.

The Yard

Overall we had an okay. The listing was misleading. The room with the bunk beds is actually only one set. The bunk beds made the worst squeaky noise whenever anyone made the smallest movement. The place had ants and spiders upon arrive. We also saw a cockroach on the last night. The distance to the beach was great. The location made all the other stuff minimal for us. It was nice to be walking distance to the beach, food, & activities.

We cut our trip early for several reasons

The neighborhood was loud at night until 3am, beds were very, very squeeky and uncomfortable, bathroom semlled like urine badly, grass in backbyard was well overgrown, chairs were broken, shower had a slice on the floor, very, very minimal stuff (few towels, one dish towel, no cofee filters, no salt and pepper, pots with no handles on lids, not worth the price at all. This wont allow me to upload pictures, go figure.

Good location

We liked the location to beach and restaurants. Loved that we could bring our dogs. The fenced yard was great for them and us to sit outside and relax. Friday night had a little louder street and neighbor noise but on the main drag we expected that. there is only 1 set of bunk beds, not two.

Excellent experience

House was nice and clean. Love that is pet friendly and has a fenced in backyard. Literally minutes away from the beach. My only suggestion is to install curtains in the bedroom due to a lot of light at night. Will definitely book again.

Weekend getaway

I thought it was a good couple night stay. If I was there longer we probably wouldā€™ve had to get a hotel room. The spare bunk beds mattress was thin and the whole bed would squeak anytime you moved. So my kids had a rough time sleeping. My youngest ended up sleeping on the couch night 2. I couldnā€™t imagine if I had adults sleeping on that bed. Also the bath tub has a crack in the floor. Iā€™m sure water is getting under the unit. Other then that it was fine for a short stay.

Problematic Stay

Loved the location but I ended my Thanksgiving stay early due to problems with the house. The back door was unlocked upon arrival, the backyard light didn't work, the gate in the fence blew down so I bought bungie cords to hold it up, dirty dishes, unwashed pots & pans with old food in them in the cabinet, it was cold outside (30-40) and the heat stopped working & blew cold air all night & day, lights flashed when heat tried to kick on, didn't get help by phone or owner message till I tried Vrbo chat. The temp fix for the heat lasted about 2 hours. Thermostat set on 90, was blowing cool air again & had dropped from to 69 when I left early. The owner said they would refund the trip but they only refunded part of it. I left the house cleaner than I found it, bungeed the fence together, and ended my vacation early because I didn't want to be cold all night again.

Enjoyable stay

We really enjoyed this place, we travel with our pup and this was a great fit for anyone traveling with a dog. Also short walking distance to the beach and places to eat.

QUICK FAMILY GETAWAY

The property location was great for our needs, ample parking and walking distance to many good eats and drinks. The fenced in back yard was private which was a huge plus for us and our pup. The space was just the right size for my party of 3. Overall clean, this is the beach so nothing will be sand free. The online description was very accurate except the photos show 4 bunks, but there is only 2. The listing does say sleeps 4 but the pictures show that it would be 6, this could use an update.

Okay stay

The place was nice. Small and compact, the bunk beds were comfortable but squeak a lot. Bathroom was ok. Lights were dim and there was a crack and dent in the bathtub. Neighborhood was nice. Seems safe. Communication with host was ok. Took awhile to message me back. Had an issue with payment and called the company and received a really rude woman on the other line. We also had an emergency and called the emergency line but no one picked up.
