Amazing place to stay!! Will come back

Everything was perfect! We are definitely planning on coming back and staying longer next year. Plenty of room, great location to the Lakes, shops and restaurants. The owner did an amazing job with this place. It's beautiful and cozy. We had a wonderful time here. The owner was easy to communicate with and gave us tips and information on what to do around here and being so gracious with any questions we had. We absolutely look forward to coming back again.

Wonderful retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at this lovely property. Both the house and the property were wonderful. One of my favorite features was the “on demand” hot water. We were all able to shower when returning from the beach without anyone having a cold shower. We also thoroughly enjoyed the covered wrap around porch both in the morning and in the evening. We would gladly return to this property for future trips.

Great location for our big family getaway! Close to Elberta Beach, Frankfort Beach, Crystal Lake Beach, Platte River, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and more. This home was large enough to accommodate our large, multi-generational family with no lack of space. Great fire pit and hanging chairs for nightly campfires. The hot tub was also a big hit! 3 beds on the top level and two on the bottom. A second living room & small kitchen area made it convenient for extra food and drinks. Downtown Frankfort is buzzing with many restaurants and shops. Hosts were pleasant and very responsive! We will certainly come back again.

Beautiful clean house

It’s a new house. Very well maintained. The host is still trying to figure out few things to get the process streamlined. But she did amazing job to accommodate us. House is clean- centrally located. Definitely give it a try to Crystal lake Gateway properties on their website.

Great Stay!

The house was wonderful and allowed plenty of room for the entire family. We enjoyed the back yard/patio area and played our corn hole game every evening. Even though there were many things wrong/missing/misled, I would give a 5 star rating. The description on VRBO is not 100% accurate. There is no hot tub, no spa tub or children's playground. The stair gate was still in the box and not attached to the wall, so we had to go buy a baby gate to protect our one year old from falling down the stairs. We had to call to request the baby high chair which was brought the next day. And although I didn't expect it, there was no "Breakfast included". Several things in the house were unfinished (master bathroom door wouldn't slide, no shelves for shampoo so it had to sit on the floor, shelves/decor hung on wall with thumbtacks or finishing nails which doesn't hold, and no dressers/drawers to put your clothes/bags). But overall, it was a wonderful home that just needs some finishing touches. The owner was hospitable and communicated quickly. The location close to Frankfort was lovely. Great town, wonderful shops, fantastic restaurants, and close to the beach. I would certainly visit again!!

Thank you for the 5 star review. Building and completely furnishing 2 new build vacation homes in 2 years has been crazy yet exciting ! The Hot tub was ordered but had installation and delivery issues. We are working on it. The gate cannot stay up at all times so it was in the box in the closet where I said it was. We are fine tuning dressers ( most people do not use them and we did not have time to put dressers in all 5 bedrooms before the season started. They will be there this next season) The couple bedrooms that do not have them have tables in closets to set your suitcase on ) I'm glad you saw that we have enough value for a great review but are just working on finishing touches. We fell in love with the property and its proximity to all of the Beauty Benzie county has to offer and are excited to continue developing and offering more amenities for next season.

We own 2 homes in this area so we are able to support groups for larger events also.

It is quite simply absolutely beautiful here. We are not only centrally located to the beauty of Northern Michigan but have a large amount of privacy for you and your group. Its very easy to get to any of the dozens of attractions in the area. The best of both worlds for a low stress vacation experience.

We have many options for different sized groups and all of our properties are new homes that we have we built specifically designed for your enjoyment and your parties vacation experience. Not only are all of your basic amenities as far as paper products supplied but many extras-easy to prepare-canned goods -mac-n-cheeses-butter-dried soups and such- that are not offered on most other vacation homes. We are here to make it easy for you and your Group ! I love to cook and keep many of the necessary staples available that easily get missed on your shopping trip to the grocery- from many dried whole food type spices, coffee beans-2 coffee pots ! We are coffee snobs -ha- to dozens of different shapes and sizes of cookware, bowls, utensils cups and such. We furnish all of our homes as if we lived there full time to make it as low stress of a stay as possible !
