The villas have a comfortable living/dining room complete with a digital cable TV. We struggled with amount of kwh used, so stopped using the A/C, and the breezes were not quite enough to cool us. We have stayed in VRBOs around the world, never had a kwh limit, & we will be careful not to book any more that do. We also would have preferred to wash our own clothes, even though Genie was great. Other than that, the villa was clean & in a great area. Reid was easily accessible, & we loved his introducing us to Paradise taxi- we loved them.

Good Location

Great location for grocery and restaurants. Easy walk to beach and marina. Bus shuttle at neighbouring Bay Gardens handy if needed. Nice well equipped villa and plunge pool. Great host appreciated the taxi service arranged by the host to and from the airport.

Just as advertised.

The ownes were very responsive and helped set up our transfer to and from the airport. This is our 3rd time visiting St. Lucia and the villa is very centrally located to shopping, beaches and excursions. Had a great time and would certainly stay here again.

Great Condo and stay in St Lucia

The condo was exactly as advertised. Great private complex. It was easy walkable distance to the grocery store, which was right next door and downtown to go to dinner. The shuttle access was super convenient to Reduit Beach. Reid was a great host and communicated with us before during and after our trip and was most helpful with any questions we had.

Beautiful stay in St. Lucia

Landlord was very attentive to all of our questions. The unit was comfortable and well decorated. The second bedroom was rather small. Great location for access to grocery stores and restaurants.

Fantastic property in a private gated community.

The property was very comfortable, spacious and well equipped, all that you need for a great holiday. Communication with Reid was fantastic throughout and the weekly clean/sheet/towel change by Suzanne was really helpful. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here. Locally there are some fantastic restaurants a couple of our favourites were Jaques Waterfront Restaurant and Spinnakers on the beach. Thanks Reid for a great stay.

Perfect accommodations close to everything!

This was a beautiful, quiet unit in a small group of units. It was very well appointed and lovingly furnished. It was pefect for us, as it was near the Rodney Bay Marina and Boatyard, as well as all shopping, restaurants and the beach.. 15 minute walks to all, or transportation to and from the Bay Gardens Beach Resort via their vans! The owner was very responsive to all of our requests, and helpful in securing transportation to and from the airport. We would definitely recommend this property!

Great stay at a great place

Spent 9 nights at Coast Villas, and plan to return. Villa was as shown and described. Fabulous 10 unit complex - our unit was shaded all day, with all the sun you wanted available on the opposite side of the pool. My wife and I enjoyed the incredible Rodney Bay breezes and temperatures sitting outside in the upper and lower outdoor seating areas whenever we were at the villa. Location is safe, and could not be more convenient - Massey's was less than a 2 minute walk, the beach was 10-15 mins, and all of the many restaurants in in Rodney Bay, including at the marina, were 5-15 mins away. The location is perfect if you want to spend most of your time away from the villa, and have a safe and comfortable spot to retreat to when needed. Hope to return next year for a longer term stay - we couldn't get enough of the blue skies, warm breezes and comfortable temps.

Nice Property

We spent 2 wks at No 9 Coast VIllas. Overall we were happy with our stay. The property was very clean. The Housekeeper was very good. There is no washing machine, but she did our washing for us on the two occasions she came to the property during our stay. The property is well equipped.The property is a little further from the beach than we anticipated, however, there is a shuttle bus from the hotel which is a 4 min walk. We also used the facilities of the hotel at the beach and therefore did not pay for sun loungers on the beach. We also used their pool.The property is surrounded by unfinished apartment blocks, one of which is derelict, the other looks like it is being worked on, but they are both a bit of an eyesore. We were told the derelict one has been like this for some years and there are no plans at the moment for anything to be done with it - this is a shame. The actual complex of the villa is very well kept. A couple of negatives from our point of view, a previous review mentioned the furniture being uncomfortable, we agree that it is, the chairs are particularly hard. The sofa is a weird size and despite the cushions it was difficult to get comfortable on it. We were charged 75(US) for a late check out (5 and a half hours). We thought this rather expensive as we had stayed there for 2 weeks. I'm sure though this was mentioned in the contract, so our fault for not noticing that. Overall though, we would recommend the property.

Renter Beware

The villa is well appointed and in a very convenient location. However, being the first renter in the villa after the Covid shut down, I experienced several problems which took approximately 4 days out of my first week in St. Lucia. These problems were entirely out of my control! In spite of this, the owner refused to make any financial renumeration. My advice on renting this villa…look elsewhere! The most severe problems were the plumbing: master bedroom toilet leaking, downstairs bathroom sink pipe bursting and flooding the kitchen! I was forced to try to turn off the water under the sink (the turn off switch was frozen after months of non-use). The plumber was called in 4 days in a row…days when I had to wait around for his arrival to let him into the complex. The next issue was that the Entertainment Center (TV, DVD, etc) didn’t work. I discovered that the TV remote was broken (held together by electrical tape). It took 2 visits from the “tech” to resolve this problem while again I had to wait around to let him in to the complex! This tech used my iPhone to communicate (and take pictures of the remotes, etc.) with the owner and I ended up having to show the tech what I had figured out. This added to the amount of time out of my first week of vacation. And then the refrigerator… After discovering that the freezer wasn’t working, I contacted the owner again. When the repairman arrived (more time waiting around), he discovered that the freezer and refrigerator settings had been set incorrectly prior to my arrival. On leaving the property, I left the dishes clean and pots and pans in the same condition in which I had found them. Nevertheless, the owner saw fit to charge me an extra cleaning fee! I used more Airell conditioning than was allowed in the contract so I was charged extra for the additional electricity costs…no problem. Therefore, buyer beware!

Beautiful Christmas week in Rodney Bay

We had a wonderful week in Reid’s beautiful Rodney Bay Villa. The Villa was exactly as described and more. Everyone Reid recommended for us from our taxi driver from the airport to our horseback riding was delightful. Rodney Bay is a great location 10 minutes from the smaller Georges airport. The Villa location allows you to be able to walk to restaurants and Reduit beach. I would highly recommend this villa for your trip! We will return soon!

Most Relaxing Holiday Ever

Can't say enough about this gorgeous villa, we had 2 glorious weeks here and loved every moment of it, was a bit like home from home. The staff are an absolute credit. From the moment we booked Reid was the most helpful guy he booked our taxi's from the airport offered to book excursions, any querries we had he answered almost instantly. The location of the villa was perfect for us 2 minute walk to the supermarket and 5 mins in to Rodney Bays restuarants and bars and a further 5 minutes to the beach, though you can take the shuttle from the hotel next door down to the beach if you want to. We most certainly will be back Helen wilson

Bonjour Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour a Rodney Bay ,la villa était parfaite ,spacieuse et trés confortable ,bien aménagée et superbement située ,pas trop loin de toutes commodités (navette et centre commercial a portée de main ) et pas trop prés non plus de l'agitation nocturne . en bref ,parfait .je garde cette adresse pour mon prochain séjour a Sainte Lucie et la conseille fortement

Highly recommended

We spent 6 days in this beautiful condo.It is well located in a quiet part of Rodney Bay close to all amenities, grocery, restaurants etc... It was a 30 minutes walk to Bay Garden resort or we could have free use of their shuttle from the Garden Bay hotel next door. It came in handy. The condo is exactly has shown on the pictures. Very comfortable and secure. We were two couples. Transactions with the owner was easy. Reid was extremely helpful. We would not hesitate to go again.

THE PERFECT LOCATION FOR OUR VACATION!

My husband and I stayed at this villa townhome for one week with no car. Immediately upon arriving, we were greeted by Linda and Mark, onsite property managers, who drove us to the market for groceries! The Villa complex has a lovely pool area and was well-maintained, private, and secure. The townhouse itself was very clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated--housekeeper Lucilla added some lovely touches with fresh flowers! The kitchen is well supplied with dishes and cookware. We feel this location can not be beat for convenience! The supermarket is right around the corner and the Bay Walk Mall, with its many shops and restaurants, is within easy walking distance. Our favorite places to dine were The Blue Olive and Spice of India--both had great food and service. The beautiful Reduit Beach and other restaurants on Reduit Beach Road are only a 10 to 15 minute walk away. We loved being able to use the complimentary shuttle at the Bay Gardens Hotel and its sister hotel on the beach, The Bay Gardens Resort, to get to Reduit Beach or to go out to restaurants after dark. We enjoyed a beachfront dinner and live entertainment at the Bay Gardens Resort one moonlight night, as well as music and dancing at the Bay Gardens Hotel on Valentine's Day. You will find a taxi stand at the Bay Gardens Hotel as well. We enjoyed the Endless Summer Catamaran Tour (save 10% by booking online in advance). We took the Water Taxi from Reduit Beach (just outside Bay Gardens Resort) to Pigeon Island where we explored the old fort and climbed Signal Peak. Take a picnic or eat at Pigeon Island's Jambe De Bois Restaurant. We wore swimsuits and enjoyed a relaxing swim on the two calm beaches there. We signed up for the Sea and River Kayak tour through Dive Fair Helen (again sign up online for a discount). This was a highlight of our trip even though we didn't get much direction from the crew once the boat docked (just follow all the divers/snorkelers to the Dive shop--your kayak group will be taken last so be prepared to wait around a bit while they get all geared up). if you like to snorkel, ask about doing this as well on your kayak tour. We got to do this since it was just me and my husband. The owner of Ocean Breeze Villa was very prompt in responding to my inquiries, provided us with lots of information on activities available, and booked a taxi to and from the airport for us. I would highly recommend this Villa for its location and all the amenities it offers!

Indigopearl...A Treasure

Loved the pre-arranged airport pick up. Loved the villa, its art work, its well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds, the cool tropic breezes,even on the hottest days, the cute little square pool, the easy walk to Rodney Bay for shopping, swimming and excellent choice of restaurants like Tapas. Happy that there was a near-by medical centre and that arranging transportation was not a great problem. Buses stopped just down the road. The owner was accessible and very helpful. At first we thought we missed being on a beach but quickly adapted and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the easy walk through town to the beach.

Comfortable and relaxing

The property is very convenient located,walking 10 min.to the center of Rodney Bay and 2 min. to a supermarket. It is furnished to a high standard with lovely homely touches throughout the house. Clean and plenty of towels. The owners were very helpful with suggestions of local highlights and advise for certain areas. The only thing that was missing is a dishwasher,it would have saved time.

Great villa

Stayed for 1 week. Great place and great location. My second visit to St. Lucia and I wanted to have the comfort at home away from home and this villa did the job. I couldn't ask for more as far as location and price in town. The owners now know they have a loyal clients and will be spreading the word about their villas being I travel often and give advise to people as far as where to stay. If you're a person who wants the home comfort take advantage of this villa. The owners were very swift when it came to giving a response when there was an issue.

Excellent Villa, Close to everything, VERY HAPPY

I stayed here in April with my husband and we loved every second of it! The villa is beautiful, spacious, and has everything you would need for normal living. The grocery store is at the end of the street and has everything you would need. We were walking distance to shopping and the beach as well as plenty of excellent restaurants! The local food was extremely cheap and delicious and I'm a very picky eater. I would eat there every day! Their is so much to do as far as excursions and the information left at the villa assists with easy planning. I want to than you VERY MUCH for this amazing experience I will never forget.

Great location!

We truly loved the property. It had ample space for relaxing in the evenings and mornings. bedrooms were very quaint and the kitchen perfectly equipped with what we needed. The views were not what we were expecting, but we spent most of our time exploring the island anyway. The property was very clean and well maintained and the owners were very accommodating with questions when we spoke with them. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone with or without a car. We had a car because we like to explore. But, it is not necessary with this prime spot. easy walk to beach, shops, restaurants and grocery stores! Beware though...food is pricey!

Great Vacation!

The villa was perfect for an island getaway. Great location for walking to the beach, marina, shops, restaurants, etc. The property was very well maintained and in a beautiful quiet setting. The owners were vey helpful with recommending car/taxi service, restaurants, and other area activities.

Outstanding R&R

My husband and I spent a month at the Ocean Breeze unit with another couple. We found the unit not only lovely but also very spacious and practical. Our unit definitely lived up to its name - the breezes were so comfortable we found it hard to leave and ended up spending much of our time lolling about on the patio or around the pool. We never felt crowded in spite of spending a lot of time there together. We were very thankful to have chosen to stay in this villa - for many reasons: The location (away from the noise of downtown but with easy access - not hidden away at a resort where we would need a car to get anywhere); the microclimate (the breezes on our patio and in the unit sometimes made leaving a shock when we found out how hot it REALLY was just around the corner!); the comfortable accommodations (having a full kitchen and laundry facilities in the unit made it that much easier to pretend we actually were at our second home in paradise); the weather (incredible -- very warm but with beautiful breezes and rain showers that seemed to wait till we were in a sheltered area every time); and our hosts (who were staying in the unit next door and made it a point to ensure that everything was to our liking). ;-) We opted not to rent a car and found getting around very easy, whether on foot, by cab or by local bus (very frequent and very inexpensive). We did manage to develop a serious pizza habit and whiled away many afternoons watching the yachts from the waterfront tables at Elena's at the Marina (fabulous Italian pizza and did I mention the homemade gelato?). Much to my great joy and surprise there were also many places to get espresso - both there and in Rodney Bay itself. As for restaurants, there were too many to try them all, but everywhere we went the food was excellent. The free shuttle to the beach was a real bonus when we were feeling hot or lazy, but we often chose to walk instead to take in the local atmosphere, which was very relaxed and the people welcoming. I won't detail all the amenities available as they are already well described in the other reviews - but we do highly recommend the Endless Summer catamaran to Souffriere - the crew and guides were knowledgeable and entertaining and the free buffet of local foods at the plantation bountiful and delicious. And do go to Pigeon Island. All in all, a great and very relaxing vacation. We would highly recommend this property.

We would highly recommend this vacation rental centrally located in Rodney Bay St. Lucia. The two bedroom villa is great for both couples and those with young families. The house is beautifully decorated, well maintained and has a well appointed kitchen. Grocery stores are very close by, one being one block down the road. Two major shopping malls are a 5 minute walk. Local produce is also available at a small nearby market. For those who to choose to eat out for dinners they can find a wide variety of restaurants on the main street of Rodney Bay which is a short walk away. On this same street there are a number of bars and cafes which also provide great nightlife. The management company and staff where very helpful in arranging transportation and day trips, including transport to and from the airport. There is a lot to see and do on the island, hiking and snorkeling are wonderful. The small pool at the villa is well maintained, quiet, and a lovely spot to sit and relax. Being shallow it would be fantastic for young children. The beautiful and clean beach is a 10minute walk away, or a short shuttle ride. The local people are very welcoming and helpful. The surrounding area and neighborhood is quiet and safe. We walked everywhere we went locally. Local taxis are available at a nearby stand for longer outings.

Relaxing tropical vacation

Spent a lovely week in Rodney Bay at the villa with two friends. We were looking to avoid the pre-packaged, culturally-isolated experiences usually associated with all-inclusive vacations, and were we happy we did! The comfortable villa is just off the main road, but set back so it is quiet and convenient to many attractions. The villa was bright, immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. Despite the tropical weather, we didn't really need to turn on the A/C, with the windows open there were constant cooling sea breezes blowing over the nearby bay. The master bedroom was especially beautiful; I enjoyed waking up and walking out onto the balcony, seeing the misty mountains in the distance, and hearing all the various birds waking up. The full-sized kitchen is a plus for anyone who enjoys cooking. The Super J (grocery store) was literally a 2 minute walk away - with plenty of local flavours, fruits, spices, and ingredients (including ready to eat local food). Rodney Bay restaurants were all very close by whenever we didn't feel like cooking. Places to check out are The Edge and Big Chef. While the beach wasn't right next to the villa, it was very close by - just a 10 minute walk or 5 minutes by complimentary shuttle. Reduit Beach was one of our favorites, crystal clear waters, great sand. Some good snorkeling sites just a bit further north along the beach near Pigeon Island. If you have a chance, try and get down to the south of the island near the marine reserves, for some truly amazing scuba diving & snorkelling. The Canadian owners were very helpful providing us plenty of ideas for activities, places to eat, and off-the-beaten-path excursions. They've spent many years coming back to St Lucia, and can provide answers to most questions you may have. The local management company was also very helpful in arranging our pick-up and drop-off from the airport, in addition to arranging our visits to the sights around the island. This was my 5th visit to the Caribbean, and first stay in a private villa. I had an amazing vacation, I can't wait to return (hopefully very soon).
