Great communication with the host. House sits in back of another house so very quiet (off street) which was ideal for our recovering pup. The pictured yard is the front of the house but is 3/4 fenced in so acts like a good yard for traveling pets (but if you have pets that are more exploratory they could run out front). The house was clean and had all the basic kitchen amenities needed to cook. House is about a 5 minute or less walk to college avenue with a ton of restaurants and stores.

The property is located in a beautiful and convent neighborhood for Berkeley and Oakland. The house is extremely spacious with a large living dining area and fully equipped kitchen. There is a pretty grass area with outdoor seating in front. Appreciated the off street parking spot. I highly recommend.

Wonderful house in a great neighborhood! Katie was extremely helpful and responsive. Our toddler especially loved the nearby playground, and the location made everything so convenient. We’d love to stay here again when we’re back in the area.

The property was clean and as described. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. The property was quiet and private. Off-street parking was a plus! Katie was quickly responsive to questions and any issue that arose, offering suggestions for eating and navigating the area. We will definitely stay here again if in the area!

Great central location for our stay spending time in Berkeley, Oakland, Walnut Creek and San Francisco. Tons of coffee, restaurants and stores in walking distance. The little house was bigger than expected and just the right size for two of us plus two other guests for part of our stay. Will definitely be back!

Rockridge weekend

This place wasn't sterile like a hotel room. There were some person articles in the closet and some food in the fridge, but not a deal breaker. There's a washer and dryer and a well appointed kitchen.It is nicely decorated and clean and there's plenty of space in the common area. And there's a parking spot! I would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful home in a beautiful area

The property was perfect for our week long stay in Berkeley for our son’s wedding. The house was pristine, nicely appointed, and incredibly convenient to shopping for food, eating out, enjoying the best of the bay area. We will absolutely book this home again when visiting our son and new daughter-in-law.

Haven in Oakland

This cottage is the perfect place to stay in Oakland. It's in a very quiet location with off street parking, yet very close to all the great shops, markets and restaurants. There is plenty of room to make yourself at home between activities and to get a good night's rest on the comfortable beds. We hope to be back before long!

Perfect stay

My family (including my 4 month old and 8 year old) stayed at The Little House for a week and we had a fabulous stay. The house was super clean and included everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Katie was a wonderful and informative host and extremely responsive to our communications with her. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Wonderful stay in Oakland

We had a top notch stay at Katie’s cottage near Rockridge in Oakland, CA. It’s located in a leafy friendly neighborhood, so convenient to cafes, stores, and Bart. The cottage is beautiful! Has everything you need, and is very clean. A+ I got confused initially with how to use the remote controls, it turned out a cable had been accidentally pulled out. Katie stayed on the phone till we figured out how to get the tv to turn on. She even emailed later to make sure all was well. We had a great stay!

This is such a great location! Walking distance to absolutely everything you could need. We had some questions upon arrival and the host was very responsive, even following up to make sure we were good.

Good location, good price

The property is great! Way more spacious than a hotel for the same price. We walked to numerous restaurants, Cal (bit of a trek but our kid was there so worth it), and BART. Only complaint was the primary king bed was a bit wonky. Talked to Katie, the owner, who was great and said she’d replace the mattress. The place can sleep 6 but 4 is ideal. There is a fee for more than 2 people staying there. It’s very reasonable but not mentioned in the listing. We were there during the heat wave but there were 2 fans onsite to help cool us down (no ac but it’s usually not that hot there). I would recommend staying here.

Tranquil Retreat

We truly enjoyed every moment at this lovely Rockridge home. As described it is within easy walking distance of coffee shops, restaurants, and even the Sunday morning Farmers' Market, and a quick drive to numerous grocery stores. Having a dedicated parking space, washer and dryer, well equipped kitchen, two updated bathrooms, and very comfortable beds made this home perfect for a long stay. The weather was a perfect escape from much of the nation's heat and having a private patio created a very tranquil retreat. The homeowner went out of her way to accommodate our needs. We look forward to returning as soon as possible.

Location is perfect!

This is our second stay at this property. So many aspects we love such as location, ease of walking, privacy, and the parking spot! The size of the place is great for our needs traveling with my mom. It is close to Trader Joe’s to pick up any grocery items. Love the Rockridge area and was the perfect place to attend our daughters wedding in Piedmont.

Great VRBO in Berkeley

We were very happy with this cute little house that sat behind the main house. It was a perfect size for my husband and I and his brother & wife. It was roomy and comfortable and had everything we needed. Great bathrooms and kitchen, beds comfortable etc. Great location and fun to walk around neighborhood with restaurants and shops close by. Highly recommend it. Susie

Great house in the delightful Rockridge area

We loved this Rockridge house and felt right at home for our 5 week stay. We were happy with the kitchen, living space and great shower. The host was responsive immediately when an internet issue came up and got a new internet system. She found us an alternative while we waited to help me continue to work during the transition. She was able to help us at the end of our stay that went above and beyond! We hope to return in the future to visit our adult daughter and hope the house is available!

Oakland Hideaway

This property was perfect for me, my husband and my sister. The house was the perfect size. 2 large bedrooms and 2 updated baths. A large open living area and well equipped kitchen. Our son and his family visited us daily and there was plenty of room. Katie the host was always available and very helpful before and during our stay. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Oakland because our accommodations were so wonderful!
