In response to the specific complaints: Regarding the size, our condo is one of the largest 2-bedrooms in the 217-unit Mt Green complex, with an extra half bath and second floor. Perhaps it feels smaller because its two smaller more private levels rather than one big unit. Regarding the smoke detectors, the condo complex has building-wide hardwired smoke detectors and we also have individual unit detectors. The reviewer found an old unused detector somewhere. And she must have known the smoke detectors worked, because she set them off while cooking, and had to call the housekeeper for help to reset it. All answers to her many questions were clearly available in the pre-arrival email and prominent binder on the coffee table. Her questions suggested someone more suited to hotel stays with front desk service than independent condo rental. The deck does have temporary waterproofing. They plan to replace it this summer. The covering is a different color but it does not affect usage. The unit has "vintage" Vermont ski lodge furniture - indestructible and practical for ski boots. While not modern, it's comfortable and exactly as pictured. In short, the listing accurately represents this well-maintained property. While we always aim to provide the best experience possible, some guests simply cannot be satisfied despite our best efforts.

Matt, We are so glad you enjoyed the amenities like the on-site restaurant and free ski shuttle! I'd like to apologize again about the towel mishap, since our housekeeper's car was pushed into a ditch that day! However, I'm surprised you gave us a negative review, since we did provide you access to the family's private stock, and the hotel towels were brought that same evening, with an apology note and a gift basket. I also wish you had let us know right away about the smell in the elevator - that is definitely not normal, and it needed maintenance staff to fix.
