The Treehouse at Feather Ridge Retreat
Welcome to Feather Ridge Retreat, the ultimate destination for outdoor enthusiasts seeking adventure and tranquility. Our property is nestled in the heart of the Cherokee National Forest, offering endless hiking trails and breathtaking views right from the top.
On our property, you'll find plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy, including hiking & mountain biking trails, birdwatching, and stargazing. And if you're looking for even more adventure, you'll find countless activities within a 30-minute drive, including being next door to world-renowned trout fishing at Clarks Creek and white-water rafting on the Nolichucky River.
When it's time to relax, our newly updated event pavilion is the perfect place to gather. With a natural rock fireplace, it's ideal for worship, weddings, faith-based retreats, corporate gatherings, or simply enjoying a cozy evening by the fire. The pavilion also offers access to wifi and a smart tv.
The pavilion is located at the base of the mountain with the Treehouse & Cabin at the top. The Cabin is completely off-grid outfitted with solar power and rain catchment system for the toilet that's next door in the Treehouse. The Cabin has one large room with two queen beds that lookout at the mountain view from the moment you wake up. In the Treehouse is where you will find the half bath plus the 360 degree observation deck at the top. Just a short walk up the mountain will give you access to another long range vista to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. When it's time for a hot shower, you'll have access to a shared full bathroom at the lodge.
Our location is also convenient, as we're just 60 minutes from Asheville and 20 minutes from Johnson City. Whether you're looking to explore the great outdoors, gather with loved ones, or simply relax and recharge, Feather Ridge Retreat is the ideal location for your next vacation. Back2Basics Outdoor Ministries, INC started almost 10 years ago as a way to reconnect individuals with God through the outdoors. We mostly help small groups facilitate intimate retreats at our Feather Ridge Retreat location in East Tennessee although we do travel a bit too.
Our retreat experiences are hands on so when groups show up they can focus on why they are here instead of worrying about scheduling, activities, food and more.
