Our neighborhood is a hiker and cycling destination. Our house backs up to the Tappan Zee/Mario Cuomo Bridge shared use path (the trail takes you across the TZ bridge to Westchester). South Nyack is a lovely residential village filled with Victorians and homes built in the early 1900's. It has been a vacation destination for NYC socialites and home to many celebrities, as well as the location for many tv shows and movies. The area is one of the most beautiful in the Hudson Valley. Enjoy the parks, the river, the restaurants and the scenery. Nyack is famous for it's street fairs and there are also fairs in the surrounding towns of Piermont and Tarrytown (both are a 10 minute drive).
