Life's a Beach in Carlsbad Village!

Beautiful, light airy fully upgraded trilevel townhome with everything and in the heart of the village of Carlsbad for you to enjoy as an extended stay rental. This is a lovely townhouse in which you will park in the large two car garage( with extra storage ) and then walk or bike to everything. No need to drive again! Stroll or bike around as the location is one block to the beach, restaurants and shops, train and bus station nearby, but still off the main path.
The property has view of ocean from bedroom windows, fully equipped kitchen and living area. Beautiful stainless steel appliances and a full washer and dryer are included with this property.
The main floor has a living room with TV, VCR and a dining area that seats four.
Upstairs, the master bedroom and retreat includes large bathroom with separate shower and jacuzzi tub for full relaxation. TV and VCR are included with the master.A second and third bedroom with full bathroom on are on the same floor. One bedroom boasts a double bed and the third bedroom has bunk beds; perfect for the young ones or grandkids.
Downstairs living and sitting room equipped cozy sofa with chaise,desk area for home away work, and beach like feel.
Enjoy the beautiful patio, bocce ball courts, fitness room and shuffleboard that is offered at the condo. Enjoy the easy access to the beach and all the beach and water activities.
The village abounds with so many activities- beach sports, marathons, the weekend farmers markets and art shows are amazing. Learn about Carlsbad history by taking a walking tour or visiting the alkaline mineral water across the street.Take a stroll in the evening to your favorite restaurants- Las Olas Restaurant, Blue Ocean Sushi, Del Nortes, a visit to all the restaurants on state street. Don't forget to end your evening listening to live music at the Coyote Grill or a special desert at the Chocolate Factory!

Wonderful host and location

Rhonda was a great host. She met us at check in and walked us through the property. The location can’t be beat if you’re looking to walk to the beach and around downtown Carlsbad.

We never want to leave!

This is our second year of renting this house! If it were up to us, we would never leave! 1). We love the location, it’s a block from the beach and maybe two from town. 2). The house is very clean & comfortable. It Absolutely has everything you need, from cooking to riding bikes. 3). AND Rhonda is a Super Host! Going out of her way to make sure you enjoy your stay.

Awesome Condo in Carlsbad

I loved staying in this condo! It is just half a block from the train station, and walking distance to many shops and great restaurants. I was here to ride my bike and the ride from here towards Encinitas is spectacular. The condo is spotless and well supplied and has plenty of room for any guests you may have. Rhonda is great to work with. She responded immediately and generously to any issues I had. There is construction across the street, but hopefully it won’t last much longer. I hope to return someday.

Beautiful and Convenient

My husband and I lived here for a month while visiting our daughter in SoCal. It is a beautiful house, well appointed, and so convenient. We were about two blocks from the beach and half a block from the train station. Carlsbad Village is a lovely family beach town with plenty of restaurants and a few (but not too many) beach shops. If you are planning to eat "at home", it's about 1.5 miles to the nearest supermarket; there is a farmer's market on State Street, only a few blocks away, every Wednesday evening. The homeowners were most hospitable and helpful. We definitely hope to return to this property in the future.

Better than 5-Star...our all time best vacation in Carlsbad!

Fantastic Carlsbad Village location. Staying in this beautiful townhouse was like a home away from home. Everything needed was included and was impeccably clean upon our arrival. Rhonda is so organized and she made our check-in easy. The extra bedrooms allowed us to have family and friends visit during our stay and our grandkids loved their visit to Legoland and playing at the beach. It was so nice to walk and be within five minutes to the beach, restaurants, Farmer's Market, Coaster train, New Village Arts Theatre, and our favorite entertainment - Coyote Grill. Please take the "WalkThe City Tours" as they are so interesting. Looking forward to our visit next summer. Wayne and Patty

Sweet Location!

We stayed for 36 days at this rental and we found the location worked great for us. We could easily walk to restaurants, coffee shops and the beach. We even took advantage of the train station being close and the rode the Coaster twice. The rental was well stocked. It was nice having a private parking space as parking can sometimes be an issue near downtown. And the bed in the master bedroom was so comfortable. We often enjoyed sitting out on the little front patio. There are a number of steps in the unit and we are not so young but we did mange fine and they got easier as time passed. Rhonda was easy to communicate with and the check in and out process went smoothly.

Beach stay!

We live locally and had a leak at our house. I was so grateful and happy we found Rhonda’s listing. The house is amazing. The location is perfect for a great stay in the village of Carlsbad. We walked around the village for weeks and ate at every restaurant. Living in Carlsbad my entire life, I must say it was a treat to be this close to the beach and Carlsbad village. I Will suggest this to any family or friends coming to visit me. The House was great for our 3 year old. She was so happy about the big girl bunk bed. The master suite is so nice and big and cozy. Jacuzzi tub came second to the big girl bed. Everything we needed was there from spices to beach toys. Rhonda has it all! Also a perk to be this close to Carlsbad alkaline water to fill up when we needed. Hope I don’t even have to be put out of my house again but if I do, I know where I’m going to stay!

Great stay in the Village of Carlsbad

My husband & I had a wonderful time in this townhome. A walk to the beach or village, lots of restaurants and shopping with a small town feel. Home is perfect! Clean, beds comfy, kitchen well supplied and lots of extras ( like beach chairs, bikes, umbrellas). Home owners great to deal with and very welcoming ( thank you for the wine and chocolates!) We will definitely be back.

Great Experience

We stayed at this property for a month and loved it! The location was perfect, it was a short walk to restaurants and shops and the beach was a block away. We enjoyed watching the sunset and walking around town afterwards. The house was clean, comfortable, and came fully equipped with kitchen and bathroom essentials. Also provided were beach chairs, tents, boogie boards, sand toys, cooler and 2 cruiser bikes - all in great condition. Check-in was a breeze and the check-out list was pretty standard. Rhonda was responsive and easy to work with. We would definitely rent this house again!

Fantastic Stay

Wonderful location. Very comfortable and clean home (just like in the pictures). Fantastic, responsive and accommodating hosts. We will without a doubt stay here again the next time we are in the Carlsbad/San Diego area :)

Lovely condo in a great Village location

We spent three weeks living in this wonderful three bedroom condo with an unbeatable location in the heart of Carlsbad village. You could literally walk to everything. Shops, restaurants, the ocean and even pickle ball courts. The unit was well appointed and very comfortable. I would highly recommend it to people Who enjoy being in the hustle and bustle of a thriving village. This was our eighth year visiting Carlsbad, the highlight of which was the LPGA Kia Classic golf tournament. We would definitely consider renting this property again.

We love this place. The house is beautifully appointed and our host is wonderful. Great location.

This is our second stay here and we will come again. Rhonda's home feels like a "home from home" for us and she is a wonderful host. The location is perfect for visiting the beach and doing some village shopping. You have everything you need here and it's clean, well appointed and beautifully decorated.

Great place, great location, great host

Right in the middle of the Village, short walk to the beach, adjacent to the Coaster commuter train. Wonderful place to stay.

Perfect from start to finish

This a beautifully designed and furnished town house in a great location, right in the heart of Carlsbad Village. Fully equipped with everything we needed, clean and tastefully decorated we felt at home immediately. Rhonda was so helpful right from our initial enquiry and even came to drop off a welcome gift when we arrived. I can't wait to go back and stay there again and would highly recommend this property to anyone thinking of staying there. Love, love, loved it.

Most wonderful condo

The condo is fantastic. We found it to be more than we expected. Everything was clean and well maintained and the owners greeted us upon arrival to make sure everything was ok. The condo is close to all cafe's and shopping as well as the beach. As soon as I e-mailed and said I was interested, The owner promply gave me a call. Fantastic service and the owners went out of their way to make sure we were welcome. We would deffinetely stay here again!!

Wonderful House; Lots of Space; Great Location

Loved every minute of our time at the house and our time in Carlsbad. The home was immaculate when we arrived; the layout is spacious; the location is one of the best features of this house. It's about one block from the beach. And, being in the village was perfect - we parked the car in the garage and could go for four or five days without using it. Walk everywhere. Long walks along the beach or along the esplanade. Great restaurants: Sushi, Mexican, French, Italian, Irish, Steakhouse - it's all there. And, we were there for the Carlsbad 5000 - the fastest 5K race in the world. Something like 12,000 runners competed in nine or ten race events over that weekend in March. It was a festival weekend and we were living in the middle of it. Could not have been any better. Rhonda was a gem to work with; she met us when we arrived and made sure everything was OK with us. Then, she checked in (by text message) with us after two or three days. No need to have done that because everything was exactly as described and maybe even better than described. And she made sure that we had her contact information in case we needed it. We will be checking the reservation calendar for this home for our next trip to Carlsbad. Greg and Carol

A Wonderful Get-Away

My wife and I and another couple stayed at this condo for 2 weeks in mid-January of this year. We really enjoyed the place; it was beautiful, well-appointed and very roomy. We were able to get together with our extended family for football games and meals without feeling crowded. As mentioned in other reviews, the location is a major factor for this condo. It is within walking distance of many restaurants, pubs and shopping and of course: The beach. But most of all it is only a half a block to the train and bus stops. We really did not need a car. We went to San Diego (Old Town and downtown) several times via the train and took the bus for light shopping trips. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Amazing Vacation Property!

Just want to let you know what a great time we had in your beautiful well-equipped home. We had a wonderful 3 day weekend with some amazing weather. The location was perfect, a block from the beach, restaurants, shops, and the really convenient train station! The house itself was so roomy for all of us, including our 4 year old. It had everything we needed, especially the kitchen. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us, we will be back very soon!

LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! This is a great rental. My family and I have been staying here since the end of July and have loved every minute of it. The owners are very attentive. This rental has lots of space, very nice furnishings and décor. If you are looking for a great Southern California experience then don't look any further. This is the perfect place. Walking distance to the beach and a wide variety of restaurants and shops. We would stay here again!!!
