Relaxing gateway

We had a fantastic time! The house is well equipped, especially the kitchen. There are plenty of games for the family to enjoy. Highly recommend for a fun and relaxing family or friends getaway!

This was the best accommodations e hang experienced renting a house for our family of 3 siblings and each of our families. We had 12 people and our dog. Everyone enjoyed the stay. The house was well stocked and had instructions and labels for most things. The kids ranged in ages from 2 - 14 and no one was ever bored. The pool was wonderful. Everyone enjoyed watching the boats go past the house in the river. The host was great with communication and responded promptly to any messages. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room to spread out. We will likely be back!

Great River House Stay!

This property did not disappoint! Very clean and well stocked. Views of the river are nice and kids enjoyed watching the boat traffic throughout the day and the place is very calm and peaceful throughout the day, especially in the mornings and evenings. We only wished it had a dock to fish from or maybe just some rod holders attached to the bulkhead to allow for a bit more convenient fishing in the river but that’s not worthy of a deduction on the review! Just know that if you plan to do any fishing you’ll need to bring your own rod holders if doing any fishing that requires the bait to sit for any length of time. Overall, a great place to stay and we would definitely return with no questions asked.

And for me, that feeling is only heightened when I can also witness others experiencing it.

Now, as a parent myself, I have the pleasure of creating a backyard paradise for my own children. And I must admit, there is nothing more heartwarming than watching the smile on their faces as they splash around and create their own memories. But it's not just my immediate family that I enjoy hosting in our backyard paradise, it's also our extended family, friends, and neighbors. Being able to share this experience with others and see the joy it brings them is truly rewarding.

But perhaps the most fulfilling aspect of being a host in this backyard paradise is being able to provide these experiences for those who may not have the means or opportunity to do so themselves. Whether it's a family in need or a group of underprivileged children, nothing brings me more satisfaction than giving them a day filled with laughter, fun, and the joy of swimming.

As an advocate for the benefits of swimming and outdoor activities, I have witnessed firsthand the positive impact it can have on physical health, mental well-being, and overall happiness. And as a host, I have the privilege of creating and sharing these experiences with others. So if you ever find yourself in the Houston area, come take a dip in our backyard pool and experience the pure bliss that comes with swimming and watching recreational water activities.
