House is 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, furnished kitchen, large living room, sitting room, covered patio and a three-season room covering the front of the house to enjoy your morning coffee. The house is set off the main road and wildlife abounds. This is our weekend getaway house. It is not perfect or fancy, a model or spec house but if you are wanting a quiet getaway in a nice sized house, disconnected from the phone or computer, this is it. There is good cell service should you need it; there is no TV or Wi-Fi. Within driving distance to wineries in Desoto and Hillsboro, a little further to the Ste. Genevieve winery loop. State parks nearby: Don Robinson, Sandy Creek Covered Bridge, Washington State Park, Mastadon, St. Francois. There is plenty of room for the family to explore with woods, fields, pond, rock and arrow head hunting.

This is a working farm with a farm driveway which is gravel. We do not recommend our property for low riding vehicles like sports cars. We are always working on this property but do our best to minimize noise and disruption when guests are on site.
