Welcome to The Miner’s Den — Kirkland Lake’s premier short-term rental. Sleeping up to 8 guests, this executive-style home is centrally located just minutes from local amenities and snowmobile trails. Thoughtfully designed for comfort, unwind by the fireplace or recharge in the brand-new 8-person electric outdoor sauna. A unique mining theme throughout the home showcases the town’s rich history with curated artifacts you won’t find anywhere else.


The Property
Guests enter through a spacious front porch with room for boots, coats, and gear. The living room features two full-size couches, a cozy fireplace, and a 58" Smart TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, a double-door fridge, electric stove, dishwasher, ample cupboard space, and a large dining table.

Step outside to the patio and backyard, where you’ll find a new cedar 8-person electric outdoor SAUNA with customizable LED lighting. Pour water over the hot rocks to create steam and unwind after a long day outdoors.

The main floor includes a master bedroom with a large closet and private workspace. Upstairs offers two additional bedrooms with large closets and a full 4-piece bathroom. The basement features a fourth bedroom, a secondary washroom, a games area with darts, mini pool, foosball, air hockey, board games, and laundry facilities.

The driveway accommodates up to four vehicles front-to-back, ideal for trucks and trailers. OFSC trails are within 1 km and accessible at the end of the street.

The Miner's Den is located on a quiet, dead end street, minutes away from many local amenities.

*Please note there is no bathroom on the main floor of the home. The main bathroom is upstairs, and there is a half bathroom downstairs.*


We take great pride in The Miner's Den, and to ensure future guests can continue to enjoy the space we ask that you abide to the following rules. Failure to comply may result in financial penalties.

1) Absolutely no smoking or vaping inside the home. Smoking/vaping is permitted outside, and cigarette butts MUST be disposed in proper receptacles (not thrown on ground).
2) Guests are asked to avoid excessive noise after 10pm and before 7am to respect neighbours.
3) This home is not suitable for large gatherings or events, and the property's total capacity is 8 for sleeping.
