The Honeymoon Special -Private Cozy Couples Retreat

The honeymooners cabin is a cozy retreat with your own space on a 3 cabin property. We only rent to 1 party at a time so use of all the amenities are for your sole use. Situated on a beautiful point of land this cabin offers a private deck , a home made waterside to deep water, use of the beach and fire pit area. This cabin sleeps 2 adults and 1 child comfortably. There is an option to rent the sleeper cabin to bring 2 extra people with you. This is a beautiful property that offers a complete vacation experience. Two Kayaks and pedal boat use are included in this rental. Owners are also at the far end of the property in the large cabin if you have any questions or concerns.

Always enjoy our stay

As a repeat guest, we always enjoy our stay. Karen and Les are wonderful people and are very welcoming, it feels like family when we visit. Such a beautiful property to share we always appreciate the opportunity to stay there.

Wonderful people, beautiful location, nice cabins

Can't say enough good things about the Karen & Les, such great communication before and during our stay, they feel more like family than VRBO hosts. I love the location and the cabins are just what I like, everything you need but still that great old school cabin feeling.

Paradise Found

An amazing view. Comfortable, quaint cabin with everything you would ever need. Les and Karen are the perfect hosts. Great communication from start to finish. Very attentive and friendly but not at all smothering. Great dock for the boat. Great location to town yet tucked away in a quiet, calm bay. The perfect place to relax after a day of fishing.

Lake of the Woods Getaway

Our stay at this very well maintained log cabin was a perfect lake getaway. The beautiful property, tucked away at the end of a lane, was private and very quiet. The calming call of the loons added to the sense of solitude. The small cabin was thoughtfully kitted out with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a Napoleon BBQ, a well stocked kitchen that included extensive cookware and the sharpest knives we’ve ever used at any VRBO accommodation. We made use of the kayaks and a canoe and pedal boat were at our disposal. The owners, Karen and Les are wonderful hosts who responded very quickly to every communication. This cabin harkens back to the very best of The Lake of the Woods and we are already planning our next visit.

Peaceful, relaxing stay in a cabin with a view and accommodating hosts

Thank you to Les and Karen for being such gracious and accommodating hosts. Best hosts ever. Excellent communication from start to finish. The cabin is true northwoods and is supplied with everything you need. Just big enough for 2 adults. The appliances in the kitchen, the gas grill, fans, hot tub, and base heat all are in great working order with lots of hot water for showers and dishes 😁. The cabin sits on a point with beautiful views of LOTW. The dock is situated in a bay which is calm and quiet which makes it easy to dock, even with a bigger boat. They have a designated area to park your boat trailer during your stay. The location is serene and peaceful. So nice to come back after fishing all day to QUIET. So relaxing not to have to return to camp to jockey for a spot to dock your boat and to have to make chit chat with neighboring cabin guests and listen to camp chatter and noises all evening. If you are looking for a serene and relaxing vacation spot with a stay in a beautiful clean cabin in a perfect location on LOTW, you won’t find a better place. This is it.

We purchased our property in 2016 and have completed many improvements and upgrades since that time. This has been a true labor of love for us. We are so grateful that we are able to share the beauty of this spot with others, while helping to offset some of the renovation costs at the same time. Our spot was part of the former Red Indian Lodge and one of the former owners summered in this spot. We are so fortunate to have been given the opportunity to own this little slice of paradise!!

We love the privacy of our spot and the beach is great for our grandkids We also love the fact that there is a spot to dive off into deep water and our grandkids love the water slide! Sioux Narrows is such a beautiful place to live. The pace is much slower here and although we are only about 4 minutes from town we are still afforded great privacy. The water is so clean and clear in comparison to the other parts of the lake and there are many other beaches around that we love to boat to for a change of scenery or to give our guests privacy during rentals. We have owned other vacation properties and this one is the keeper for us.

I think the fact that we only rent to one party at a time offers a nice private vacation spot for our guests Although we stay on the property too we usually head out on the boat for the day or take a trip to Nestor Falls for a bite to eat We give our guests the full use of the property.
