Loved the location, the cozy fireplace & comfortable beds and well supplied kitchen & home overall. Didnā€™t love the spotty WiFi or leftover dog hair (but would be fine after a deeper clean)! Each member of our family voted yes to come back again because all pros outweigh the cons.

Incredible!

Perfect home base for motherā€™s day weekend. The Grandparents and Great Uncle appreciated the short walk to the beach, beautiful views, and comfortable beds. We loved being so close to the bay for crabbing and canoeing too. The host even let us come early and leave late since they didnt have another guest scheduled - I appreciated how easy going they were. We had a great trip! Hope to stay there again!

My Go-To Place for Manzanita

I really was impressed by this place. Iā€™ve at a handful of other vacation rentals in Manzanita and this will be the one I go back to.As a dog-owner, I appreciated the walkability, not just to the beach but also to the downtown area. Thereā€™s a great lil walking path along the road. The park was closed at the time but I imagine the house will score even higher in my book when itā€™s open.The house itself was larger than expected. It could easily and comfortably fit two couples. The fenced in backyard was great and they had a lot of thoughtful dog-friendly touches inside.

They had pretty much any amenities or things you could need or want for your stay. My only small critique and could just be me, the beds upstairs are extremely firm. So if you donā€™t like a hard bed it may be a tad uncomfortable to sleep. The master bedroom bed was great.

The house was well equipped and had everything you could want.However, and it may be related to being 70 years old, but the mattresses, except for one were extremely soft.Additionally, we found the chairs and sofa to be very uncomfortable. It was very disappointing not to be able to find a comfortable place to relax in.It was disingenuous, we believe to say that the house is a quarter block from the beach.It may be a quarter block to the path to the beach, but it is a much farther walk than you would expect. If one wasnā€™t careful, one might not realize they were at the beach.
