About one mile outside of Dolores on 120 acres, this farmhouse provides a peaceful stay with amazing views! It has four small bedrooms, each with a queen bed, along with a living room and kitchen featuring views of the La Plata mountains. The bathroom on the main level is equipped with a full-size shower and there is a convenient half bath upstairs. In addition, a back deck showcases views of Mesa Verde, the Cortez valley, and the Sleeping Ute. The kitchen offers all the essentials to have a meal in the dinette area or the backyard BBQ grill may prompt a summer picnic outside. Whether you plan to experience the numerous attractions of the Four Corners including Mesa Verde, the Durango Silverton train, or activities such as skiing, river rafting, mountain biking, or hunting, or you would simply like to get off the grid, this vacation rental is a great place to call home base while you're away. Please Note
Our property is a small farmhouse, about 1100 square feet, that accomadates a couple or family of 4 or 5 nicely. It has fans, but no mini split or air conditioning yet. The downstairs stays cool with opening windows. The upstairs is warmer in the summer, but windows can be opened and each room has a tall oscillating fan. During winter time, the main level has central heat and there are heaters provided upstairs. We are hoping to put in mini-splits soon!

We also want to disclose that the yard is not landscaped. It's a work in progress.
