Location, location, location right on King St. felt pretty close in the middle of everything the area has to offer. This is the third time on King St. The first 2 times I stayed at a hotel, but from here on out this will the first place I check. Saved money over the hotel and had SO much more room to move. Highly recommended!!! Easy communication, nice linens 5 stars all the way.

Great location for a weekend getaway. We had a few minor issues upon arrival and they were resolved quickly. Communication was very good. The property was really clean and had very comfortable beds. The Living room furniture wasn't as comfortable and had visible stains on the sofa. The chairs at the table were cute and trendy but didn't feel sturdy. 1 chair was broken but the mgmt team quickly resolved the problem. Overall, we really enjoyed the property, and it worked well for our group.

We loved our stay at the Folly Suite on King Street. Does the property have a great view, no, but the property has what everyone needs when visiting Charleston...two exceptional clean bedrooms and bathrooms! The location is A1. This property is in the heart of Charleston and is surrounded by top notch restaurants. The communication by the agency supporting this property was fantastic.

Fantastic location and property. Visiting our daughter at College of Charleston and we’re very happy with this stay. Place was just as advertised - clean, quiet, and located in the heart of King Street. We dined close by and lived the parking so close by for the weekend. Linen and towels all clean and soft. Would stay again!!

Charleston

Great location. Easy walk to many sites, restaurants, etc. Communication with manager was timely and easy. HVAC units were a bit fussy and no windows/natural light in bedrooms were the only negatives.

Thank you for your feedback Bob! We're so glad you enjoyed the location and found it easy to explore the area on foot. We also appreciate your kind words about our communication—it's great to hear that made your stay smoother. We understand your notes about the HVAC and the lack of natural light in the bedrooms; we'll be sure to look into the HVAC concerns and continue to be transparent in our listing about the layout. Convenient location. Close to shops and food but loud and had a terrible chemical cleaner smell that couldnt be airedout. The AC unit in front bedroom woke us up 4x making a very loud noise throughout the night we atayed.

Location was fantastic. Communication was great. Only negatives were both beds were soft and older. There were no box springs and the slightest movement was loud and shifted the entire mattress. They do warn you that the A/C units turn on sporadically to regulate the humidity. Be warned that they are not quiet when they turn on and they will come on multiple times in the middle of the night. We never woke up to the sounds from King street, but we did wake up suddenly to the loud sounds coming from the units in the wall.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us Ally. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the fantastic location and found our communication helpful throughout your stay. We truly appreciate your feedback about the beds and the A/C units. We’re sorry to hear they affected your comfort. Your comments are very helpful, and we’ll be reviewing both the bedding setup and the humidity-control systems to see where improvements can be made for a quieter, more comfortable stay. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future with an even better experience. Blue Skies, Team Duvet

If I could give this property a negative rating, I would. This was, without question, the worst vacation rental we have ever stayed in.The unit was dark, poorly maintained, and felt more like a jail cell than a vacation home. We encountered cockroaches, the furniture was extremely dated, and there was a strong chemical odor throughout the property, along with signs of possible mold that raised serious health concerns for our family. To make matters worse, the owner arrived at the property uninvited and behaved in a manner that was rude, confrontational, and completely inappropriate. This experience put a significant damper on our family vacation. Save yourself the disappointment and pass on this listing. We travel frequently and have never left a negative review, but this property and the owner’s conduct fell far below any reasonable expectation. I cannot recommend it.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that you did not completely enjoy your stay with us, as providing our guests with a comfortable and enjoyable experience is always our goal. Throughout your stay, our team reached out on multiple occasions to see how things were going and to offer assistance in any way we could. We always do our very best to address and resolve any concerns when they are brought to our attention, and we are disappointed that we were not given the opportunity to do so in this case. We appreciate you sharing your perspective, and we sincerely wish you and your family safe and happy travels in the future. Blue Skies, Stay Duvet
