Beautiful Views

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Galvestonian does not disappoint. From friendly, helpful staff to cleanliness of grounds, facilities, and our condo unit - we had a wonderful vacation getaway from Houston. Our only disappointment is all the glass topped tables - noisy, and a little scary if you drop or bump into them - and no placemats or table linens to offset the clanking of dishware on the surfaces.

No beach umbrellas - disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: disappointed because of Tropical storm Francine. I wanted to spend time on the beach and the company contracted to put up the chairs and umbrellas would not do it. There was no dangerous wind, but they said they didn't meet the minimum requirement of requests. They were not pleasant to work with on the phone and so I missed my beach vacation, which is the whole reason I stay at The Galvestonian. So I tried to sit by the pool and they finally did put up umbrellas, but there was so much construction noise that it was less than ideal. Bottom line is that I miss the days when the hotel put up its own beach umbrellas, even if the request was last minute. I will check on this before I re-book. Love the hotel, though.

Family Weekend Getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We traveled with our 13 and 9 year old and loved this place! The location is perfect, quite, clean, we love the extra beach accessories provided to make beach days easy hauling! Beach wagons, bougie boards free to use and return daily. The staff were super friendly, the room was clean and had everything needed, towel service was appreciated, The room came with fans for sleeping and that was a nice touch. Pickle Ball courts were a nice touch as my family enjoys some pickleball fun!!! Only negative is the pool could use a good cleaning around the walls, but overall we loved this place and will visit again!!

Could not have had a better experience! Management had to call the owners for a question and they were awesome! We appreciated the stay. Place was clean and spacious and the kids loved it. Great stay and plan to be back!
