Whether you are looking for sun-filled days on the water or restful days to recharge, this perfectly situated home has it all. The home overlooks the main lake while having the option to play down in the perfect cove of Drowning Creek. Take a peaceful walk around the point or go into town for dinner. If off-roading is your thing, we’re only 15 minutes from Disney! From the minute you arrive, you will feel at home in this well-appointed house, furnished and stocked with you in mind.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful lake house! The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we could possibly need — from a fully stocked kitchen (literally had every single thing we needed!) to a great Game Room, where we watched football all day! The view of the lake was stunning, especially from the kitchen and dining room table, and we spent hours relaxing on the deck, taking it all in.The hosts were incredibly responsive and kind, making check-in and communication seamless from start to finish. We wished we had stayed longer, and we can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-appointed lakeside retreat!

We had a family gathering of all ages. The dock was so convenient and easy to see from the kitchen. So we always felt together.

The house is very beautiful. We picked it for the number of bedrooms, bathrooms, large kitchen and eating area, and the view from the large deck areas. The house was very clean and each area furnished with everything we could wish for. We had a couple of questions and the owner responded to us quickly. Our family had a great time. There were three things that concerned us. The stairs are very steep. You have to walk through one of the upstairs bedroom to reach the other three. The driveway is very large but steep as a black diamond ski slope.

We also appreciate you pointing out the areas that could be challenging, such as the steep second staircase, the bedroom layout upstairs (that either staircase can access), and the driveway slope. We have tried to make sure we show that in our pictures so guests are aware. It is important to us that our guests have access to our garage and the parking pad to help avoid the steeper parts of the driveway. Grand Lake is a deep lake so homes either have a steep driveway or a steep backyard, we chose a steep driveway to maximize access to the dock and lake. Please know that your comments help us ensure guests know what to expect and allow us to keep improving.

A stay we will never forget

This stay was to celebrate my parent's 50th wedding anniversary and everything about the property was amazing. We had 18 total people and we had plenty of room without feeling we were on top of each other and the hosts were awesome.

Great family getaway

My extended family stayed here to celebrate my dads 80th birthday - this home worked great for everyone to have a chance to do what they enjoy, but then gather together as a group to share meals, play games, etc. Quiet, beautiful location right on the lake, 6 min to gas and groceries. Everyone, ages 9-80, loved the home!

Great place to get away

Lovely lake house on grand lake to help you get away from it all. Love the family friendly atmosphere and communication. Lots of little touches like extra throw blankets, welcome packet for smores, etc make this a wonderful family weekend on the lake place. Notably the big kitchen table works for the whole family. The large windows have a Greta view of the lake. Was a great relaxing Labor Day weekend.

Wonderful Vacation Getaway

This house was beautiful wth wonderful views of the lake and an exceptional dock for swimming and fishing. We had 12 people in our party and there was plenty of room for everyone. We loved the big table with enough room for all of us to sit together. Game room was wonderful for the kids and more equipped than all the others we have stayed in. We loved the decks and how all the entrances to them had gates so we did not have to worry about our 2 dogs getting out. The hosts were very attentive and we had no issues at all. They provided a very nice bound welcome book that had answers to most all of our questions. I would say this rental is one of the top VRBO listings for sure! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

A slice of Heaven at Grand Lake

Our visit exceeded all expectations. The hosts have given every consideration for their guests’ comfort and enjoyment, it seemed there was nothing they hadn’t thought of. The views overlooking the lake are spectacular and from windows and the huge deck we enjoyed beautiful sun sets and an array of bird life. I have never seen so many eagles. I loved how easy they made checking out - no long list of dos and donts. We had a fun and memorable time and guarantee anyone else would have a blast staying there too.

Great views, clean and comfortable

The house was clean and well maintained, had very comfortable beds, and we enjoyed the large and well-appointed kitchen. The owner was quick to respond to my questions about accessibility for my elderly father prior to booking. We really enjoyed our time here, and the views were spectacular. The house had everything we could possibly need. Using the regular staircase to go upstairs, you must pass through a bedroom to get to the other two bedrooms. There is a way to avoid passing through this bedroom by taking the ladder up. This was not an issue at all for our group as those staying upstairs were all capable and the ladder is very sturdy.

Beautiful house, Beautiful lake

Ten of us (five couples) came down for a long weekend. The whole back side of the house is windows over looking Grand Lake. The kitchen has every utensil, pot/pan, you could think of. There is a huge table where we could enjoy dinner together every night. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were spread out. There is a fun game room where we would gather to watch the Olympics and hang out in the evenings. There were plenty is towels, soap, shampoo, dish soap, etc. the host was very responsive and would check in to see if we needed anything. On the huge floating dock there were 2 Maui mats for us to use, a small table and four chairs. The water was clear and 85 degrees so felt amazing during the day. Our group decided if we come back to Oklahoma we would see about staying here again!!

Amazing house with an equally amazing view!

Annual family vacation of 15 and 2 dachshunds. Grandparents, siblings with families including 6 kids. This was the perfect space for us to do it all and at the end of the week, we left knowing this house set the bar high for any future vacations. The kitchen is set up to have everything you need to cook and serve for a large group. We enjoy cooking together and this was perfect, including a double oven. The coffee bar got us off to an energized start. Enough seating at the large table and island allowed us to all be together with an amazing lake view. 6 rooms, beds were soft and comfortable. Plenty of blankets and comfortable memory foam beds. Curtains were dark for better sleep, but when open allowed for great lighting. TVs equipped for easy watching and fast internet. The lake was quiet and a slip for a boat was great. The lily pads, kayaks kept the whole family entertained. Having the dock so close allowed for us to eat and go to the house to cool off as needed. The game room was more than we had expected. Lots of games, chess and checker table, board games, arcade games and even detail to the blankets in here. The bunkbed room off the game room made it great for kids. Corey and Angela were easy to work with. They have fully thought out all the details in the house that anyone could potentially need or didn't even realize we needed. Quick drive from Kansas City and a calmer lake trip than Lake of the Ozarks or Table Rock.

We chose Windmill Run because of it's location, the beautiful homes, proximity to a marina, and the sidewalk that goes around the whole point. No better way to take in the sunsets.
