Villa Elen is renovated in 2015 year and is tastefully decorated with all modern amenities, including satellite TV and DVD player, Wi-Fi internet, air-conditioning throughout as well as modern fully equipped kitchen.
Guests can relax in the sun loungers by the private swimming pool or enjoy a glass of cold orange juice in the lounge underneath the parasol.

It is set in a peaceful scenery near the crystal clear sea, but in the same time in a five minutes walking distance from the facilities of the supermarkets, "tavernas", restaurants and cafes.

With four bedrooms, a private swimming pool and the tavern with well equipped kitchen and a BBQ in the backyard, is a perfect family holiday home.

Our luxurious villa provides a relaxing retreat from everyday life and guests staying here will be sure to enjoy a peaceful and pleasant stay!

Beautiful place with a few issues

We really loved Villa Ellen and Ist! The house is clean, light, well decorated, and very functional. Ist provides a great backdrop for a relaxing vacation that is not too stimulating -- beach, walk, sleep, eat and drink, repeat! Unfortunately there are a few issues that are kind of a bummer: the pool looks enticing but is swarming with wasps and the showers leak straight onto the bathroom floor causing huge puddles.

Sylvia was amazingly helpful and quick to respond. Ist is a beautiful place - locals, scenery eatery

Nothing was too much trouble for Sylvia. The apartment had everything and more that we needed for our 2 families’ 10 day stay. I had booked to return before I left. The restaurants were first class and some more reasonably priced than others..... electrical storms which were breathtaking but over quickly, pool was wonderful but the sea was the favourite place to cool off. The 25 minute walk up to the chapel at the highest point of the island was my favourite sunrise spot, sunset just in front of the villa was enjoyed with sundowners from the villa. We enjoyed watching some yachts and superyachts visit Ist! Sylvia went out of her way to organize our airport transfer to zadar, a brilliant apartment for the night and guided us as to ferry times etc..... the best European holiday ever! The teens and adults enjoyed it equally. We even had a massage with the local bodyworker whom I can recommend.... just ask at the brilliantly convenient supermarket next door to the Villa Elen. The locals were beautiful people and I look forward to seeing them again in 2019. Thank you Sylvia for being you, efficient, friendly, helpful and for providing us a lovely base to enjoy the wonders of Ist.

Familien Urlaubsparadies

Villa Ellen auf der idyllischen Insel ist könnte für Familien nicht perfekter und entspannter sein. Fernab vom Massentourismus mit allen Annehmlichkeiten, die ein Urlaubsort bieten kann: kleiner Supermarkt, eine Handvoll Restaurants und Badestelle mit glasklarem Wasser direkt neben und vor dem Haus. Kinder können sich frei auf der autofreien Insel bewegen, Volleyball, Basketball, Boules und Tennis spielen. Wir haben mit 4 Erwachsenen und 6 Kindern von 2-15Jahren eine wunderbare Woche auf unserer neuen Lieblingsinsel verbracht. Von der unglaublich großzügigen und hilfsbereiten Gastgeberin Sylvia wurden wir sehr gut betreut und fühlten uns sehr willkommen in ihrem tollen, unkomplizierten Haus mit viel Platz. Wir danken Sylvia für diesen besonders schönen Aufenthalt und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Perfect getaway!

The house is just perfect. We were 4 families traveling with small children. It is well equipped with everything you need to enjoy the holiday. The outside kitchen is a great alternative. The pool is clean and big enough. The host was super friendly and helpful. The contact was 24|7. The neighborhood and location are perfect. Close to restaurants and beach. The fact that the supermarket is next door is super helpful. Overall 5 star experience! Would recommend.

Tolle Entspannung

Es war ein super Aufenthalt. Wir waren 2 Familien mit insgesamt 5 Kindern. Da die Insel autofrei ist konnten sich die Kinder frei bewegen. Kein Massentourismus. Unsere Gastgeberin war immer für uns da und jederzeit erreichbar. Alles in allem ein sehr gelungener und wirklich erholsamer Urlaub.

Traumhaftes Haus

Ein super Haus! Die Einrichtung ist top, modern und neu! Der holzofengrill im Anbau hat sich auch als Glücksfall erwiesen! Der Pool und die Terrasse sind ein Traum! Die Insel ist sehr idyllisch, sehr ruhig, keine Autos, ideal für Kinder! Das Meer ist sehr sauber und klar! Sylvia, die Vermieterin, war immer für uns da, sie ist sehr hilfsbereit! Direkt nebenan ist ein kleiner Supermarkt! Restaurants befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe (2 min Fußweg)!

Toller Haus für einen entspannten Urlaub

Wir waren mit 2 Familien (4 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder Kinder zwischen 3 und 11 Jahre) für 2 Wochen in der Villa Elen. Das Haus hat alles was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht! Die Kinder können sich frei bewegen, da es keine Autos gibt. Auf der Insel gibt es 5 Restaurants und 3 kleine Einkaufsläden sowie eine kleine Strandbar. Die Vermieterin Sylvia ist sehr hilfsbereit und nett!! Wir sind nach 2 Wochen auf der Insel sehr erholt nach Deutschland zurückgekehrt. Vielen Dank für die erholsame Zeit! Christian

Great place to be

Dear Sylvia, it was great pleasure to spend our 3-weeks-holidays at your wonderful villa on Ist. Everthing was alright and when we had questions or problems, you managed fast and succesful to our satisfaction. Thank you very much! The island ist realy a great place to be. Paradise Found

From the moment our driver collected us at Zadar, we knew we were in safe hands. Tony and his beautiful wife Sylvia had sorted everything to make our holiday as enjoyable as possible. We were collected from the airport and driven to an overnight apartment which was spacious and comfortable. The following morning , we were collected and taken to the ferry for our sail to Ist. Sylvia met us at the ferry port and we walked the 3/4 minutes to the villa. Superb is not the word, this place was excellent. We were the second family to stay at the villa. Everything was faultless. The rooms were well furnished, there was entertainment for the children. Most of the rooms are air conditioned. Plenty of bathrooms too. If there wasn't enough room inside, the outside was even better with your very own taverna with a fire stove, fridge, sink etc. The pool was looked after daily and the kids loved it. Wth the temperature in the late 30's, we needed it. The restaurants all around serve fresh food. Make sure you try the one to the right of the villa, serving fresh roast piglet daily, but be quick, it books up fast. The island is small, beautiful and charming. You can hire a boat if you wish. We did and travelled around for 3 separate days, island and harbour hopping. Something else Sylvia can organise. She is an absolute peach as a host and I would recommend her villa to you in a heartbeat. We may even return as it was so tranquil and relaxing with everything within walking distance. P.S. We felt very relaxed with the children wondering off by themselves to explore. Make sure you visit the little church at the top of the hill. Breathtaking views at sunset.
