Treat yourself with a special holiday.
Admire a spectacular, unique panorama from a flat that was built not just at the heart of siena but also on its highest point.
You will be able to see the whole of siena and all its surroundings up to mount amiata or chianti’s hills. The gothic cathedral and the mangia tower so close to you that you could touch them with your fingers.

From the sky to the city streets in just 5 minutes: that is about the time you would need to get to piazza del campo (siena’s main square).

The flat can host up to 5 people: works perfectly for a couple but it is also very functional and comfortable for a lonely traveller.

Easy to reach and right in the centre of the city, the flat stands on one of the most ancient areas of siena, 300 mt away from piazza del campo and the cathedral.

This flat is the ideal location for those who want to discover siena but also its surroundings: chianti, val d’orcia and the closest tuscan cities.
For those who want to know more about the palio, thanks to the flat’s position it will be possible to live a unique experience just at the heart of one of siena’s contradas: the contrada of pantera.

The flat

The flat is located at the third floor inside a historical building in one of the highest spots in siena.
Besides offering a breathtaking sight on the monuments and buildings, the flat has very nice interiors that match the classical tuscan fashion combined to a more modern one. This well-finished style goes together with comfort and a cosy atmosphere.

The bedrooms, a double and a twin, are large and homely, quiet and cosy. The option of a childbed is also available or a third bed for another person to sleep in the same room.

The pienza room

The double-beeded room pienza has antique furniture, well combined with more modern details offering a totally romantic environment.

The tower room

The tower room is a twin bedroom and the furniture’s style is early 1900s. The leading tones are aquamarine, for a full relax.

A wide and luminous living room with also a table to dine and relax area gives a wonderful sight on siena’s roofs.

Just three steps up and you get to the bathroom (with shower).

A well-equipped kitchen faces the dining room, from which with a few steps you will be able to access the roof terrace for a breathtaking sight.

Wonderful

This is an amazing place. There is a wondeful balcony, but just looking our each window is a treat. Wonderful neighborhood, close to everything but away from the major tourist route. You are lucky if you get to stay here!

Fabulous apartment in Siena!

I am delighted to write the first review for this wonderful apartment! It is so beautiful, splendidly decorated with Tuscan antiques, and provides a magnificent 360 degree view of Siena from the lovely terrace. You really feel on top of the world! The apartment was spotless and furnished with lots of extras -- soaps, shampoo, coffee, teas, and provided all the essentials and more for snacks and home-cooked meals. Monica and Fulvio are the most gracious hosts and I immediately felt like a welcomed guest. They provide excellent guidance both verbally and in writing and are extremely prompt in responding to any issues (there was a slight outage in the WiFi system which Monica resolved immediately). This is a new property on the Siena market and I'd been searching for a long while to find the right place for my 8-day vacation. I admit that the lack of reviews caused some hesitation initially, but following my correspondence with Monica -- and my intuition! -- I went forward with the booking. I'm so glad I did! This will always be my top choice of stay in Siena, not only because of the competitive price point, but also for the five star quality (I love authentic, antique Tuscan décor), its central location with all the sights within a few minutes' walk, and the excellent service provided by Monica and Fulvio. Grazie mille per tutto, Monica e Fulvio!

Lovely apartment on the top of Siena

The apartment was everything it says on the website and more. Very spacious. Really clean. Everything you need in the kitchen. Fabulous views of the Duomo and a panorama of Siena and the surrounding countryside from the roof top terrace. Fabulous! Also the location is very central. All the attractions are all within walking distance. Lots of lovely eateries within a short walk. While we were there preparations were under way for the Palio. Sorry we couldn't stay for the actual day Very exciting. We highly recommend it. Pat and Drew Perth

MAGNIFICENT LOCATION IN SIENA

Monica & Fulvio's apartment is right in the centre of the old city of Siena. It is an enchanting place with antique furniture, 360 degree views and a rooftop terrace. Monica and Fulvio are great hosts and very responsive to all inquiries. We loved the apartment and the view is spectacular. We recommend this apartment and the experience of Siena that it gave us.

Best view in Siena, charming apartment

We stayed here during Palio time, to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. I cannot think of anywhere more beautiful. The apartment is very well appointed and spacious, with stunning views from all the public areas. The view from the terrace is magical, just the place for a morning coffee - you can see for miles. An added bonus in Palio time is that you are right in the heart of the contrada and the horse is stabled next door. We would return to Siena and to this stunning apartment with pleasure

The very top

My wife and I spent four weeks in this lovely apartment--most of the month of May and a few days in June, and we loved it. The view from the terrace is, of course, phenomenal, but all the north-facing windows (all but two) have such views too. I loved just standing in one of the kitchen windows each morning as the coffee brewed. The apartment's location is perfect. Just a stroll down to the Campo, very nice restaurants close by (our favorites neighborhood places were Vivace and 4 Cantoni--the latter's cacio e pepe is perfection). What is amazing is how quiet the main bedroom (the Pienza room) is. A couple of nights, there was a rock band playing down in the Center. It was pretty loud on the terrace, but in the bedroom we slept perfectly. And the bed--by the way--is very, very comfortable. Monica and Fulvio are kind and courteous and offered their assistance several times, but we found Siena not only lovely but easily managed. Spectacular view, spacious apartment

Although there are 58 steps to climb, it is well worth it when you enjoy the wonderful view from this spacious apartment, which includes a roof-top terrace! Grocery store 2 blocks away and enotecas, trattorias, and Siena's Duomo, the most interesting church in Italy, are minutes away. Monica welcomed us with a bottle of wine and had lots of good information available. Siena is a beautiful city. We loved exploring it for 9 memorable days.

Siena's Views

We stayed in this lovely apartment with its rooftop terrace in early November this year and really enjoyed it. The views from the terrace were stunning, including the view of the Duomo. The apartment was very comfortable with a large bathroom, comfortable bed and well equipped. The landlord was charming and explained everything when we arrived and left us with a lovely bottle of Chianti wine. The location was great with easy walking within the walled town. There was a wonderful pastry shop for our morning coffee and sweet just down the street along with grocery and fruit market. It was also easy to find some good restaurants nearby. This was just a lovely place to spend a week!

Best view in Siena

We just spent 7 weeks in Italy and our 9 days in Siena (during the Palio) were magic. The apartment (in the Pantera contrada) has the best view in town. Located atop Siena's highest hill you had breathtaking views of the city's landmarks AND the surrounding countryside. The apartment's location enabled you to catch a good breeze every evening to offset the only fly in the ointment regarding this rental...no AC. There were multiple fans which, coupled with the evening breeze, made sleeping comfortable (if not optimal). A surplus of space, nice antique furnishings and a well stocked kitchen made this a great find...but the rooftop terrace and the location made this a dream. Conveniently located for sightseeing and a 4 minute walk to the best meal of our lives (no exaggeration) at Hosteria Castelvecchio. Ezio, our waiter, provided us with impeccable, friendly and helpful service followed by a meal fit for the gods. The Truffle Scented Chicken Liver Pate..the Suckling Pig...I'm drooling just thinking about it. We ate here twice (5 different courses each) and everything was spectacular. It may only be ranked #11 on Trip Advisor but that is only because it is small and off the beaten path. Seriously! Eating here is a MUST! The apartment is within a 5 minute walk of numerous superb restaurants, speciality food shops, the Duomo and Piazza del Campo. Be sure and try some of the wild boar dishes while in Siena. Not only is it a beautiful city but it is perfectly sized for walking. The city is divided into 17 contradas, each represented by either Panther, Dragon, Giraffe, Tower (to name a few), and each contrada has a fountain denoting it's allegiance. In one day we tracked down every fountain (on foot) and photographed it. It made for a nice black and white photo gallery in our hall. I only mention this to show how walking friendly the city is. If you enjoy shopping the city is full of great shops and on Wednesday there is an incredible market set up along the city wall (near the bus station). We tend not to shop when we travel but a cool linen jacket for 10 euros was something I couldn't say no to. We only met Monica during check in but she was welcoming and helpful. The apartment was not only clean and well maintained but we were greeted with a bottle of good wine. I can't stress enough what an incredible find this apartment is, and in a beautifully historic and friendly city. We will certainly return...and stay here. Enjoy!

Fabulous views from this great apartment

This apartment is perfectly located right in the heart of Siena. It is spacious and beautifully maintained and provides an oasis of tranquility away from the bustle of the town. We were welcomed by Monica, who was very helpful. The view from the roof terrace is amazing. Highly recommended.

Atemberaubender Blick über Siena!

Zentrale und doch in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße gelegene Ferienwohnung im 3. OG. Geräumig, sauber und gepflegt. Sehr nette Vermieter - sprechen nur Englisch, kein deutsch. Tolle kleine Dachterrasse mit fantastischem Blick. Guter Ausgangspunkt, um die Stadt zu "erobern". Abends kann es schon mal laut werden, wenn auf der grossen Terrasse unterhalb Partys stattfinden. Aber alles im erträglichen Masse und nie nach Mitternacht. Gute Verkehrsanbindung mit Pendelbussen. Trotzdem muss man gut zu Fuß sein, um die FW samt Gepäck zu erlaufen, da man mit dem Auto nicht vorfahren kann. Man sollte ca 10-15 min Fußweg einplanen, bergauf. Alles in allem: tolle FW in super Lage in einer Stadt, die Ihresgleichen sucht!

A wonderful location, a quiet residential street within walking distance of all sites.

The photo of the Siena skyline is the view from the apartment and is even better from the terrace. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The location is perfect in that one can walk to all of the sites, local grocery stores, restaurants and the bus station. Although everything is close by the street is off of the main tourist area, so it is quiet and one feels very much at home. I would definitely recommend it, don't let the stairs deter you, it is definitely worth the climb.
