I booked this property through VRBO that was not as advertised. All of the pictures showed the full unit with a living room and kitchen, but we were only give access to one bedroom. We only chose this location instead of Embarc or one of the others in the same price range because of the kitchen/living room area pictured being bigger than the others. When I contacted support, they initially appeared responsive and even asked me to provide video evidence. I complied, but after that, communication stopped.Later, VRBO closed my case with the statement that they had “tried reaching out.” This is frustrating because I have the email thread from their customer service showing no follow-up after I sent the video. In other words, there was no meaningful resolution and no accountability for the misleading listing, even though the property photos were later updated after my complaint.I am disappointed not only by the misrepresentation of the property but also by the way the case was handled. I don’t expect perfection, but I do expect transparency and genuine follow-through when a customer brings forward clear evidence. I hope VRBO improves in this area so others don’t face the same dead end.The bedroom itself was nice and clean and I had no issues with anything other than the misleading photos.
