Beautiful Romantic Western Wagon that is well appointed for a once in a lifetime memorable night or two. The wagon is secluded and nestled at the fork of two streams with accent lighted wilderness and cliffside scenery. Deck, Patio Table, BBQ, and open firepit provide an ambience with the outdoors to gaze at the stars. For bedding down, step inside the Conestoga to a King Bed, full bath and shower, TV, Star-Link internet, Refrigerator, Microwave, Coffee maker, and a beautifully designed decor for 2 Adult guests maximum. No Children.

Everything was great, except for the heater not working. The owner immediately sent someone over to try to fix. A solution was found to get us heat, and the rest of our evening in the wagon was enjoyable. Despite the heat problem, we would definitely stay again.

This unique wagon was incredible. Definitely recommend. The property is very peaceful and clean. The 25 minute drive to KC was not bad at all…GO CHIEFS!!!

What we saw of the wagon was unique and looked like a great place to stay. The folks in the office were super nice and helpful. Unfortunately we weren't prepared for the wasps/mud daubers that had gotten into the wagon. If I wasn't allergic to wasps, we may have stayed. Thankfully the host helped us work this out.

We enjoyed our stay in the Conestoga Wagon! The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was great! Be sure to put a towel down, as the floor in the shower is a little slippery when wet!The fridge was well stocked with beverages, and there was a basket of snacks on the table - Thank You! It rained some while we were in Peculiar, MO, but there was no problem with leakage or the temperature in the Conestoga Wagon being too hot or too cold - just right! If you’re looking for stellar tv service, Starlink might not be for you. Reception was fine, but local sporting events that are not sold out may be blocked.The only improvement we would like to see is a little bit more lighting in the outer stair area; it’s a little dark if you climb up and down the stairs after the sun goes down. Thank you for your hospitality!

We absolutely loved this wagon. So comfortable. All the things that we're there to make our stay enjoyable. Enjoyed the firepit. The lighrs in the woods at night the snacks they left for us. Wish the weather was better when we were there but wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and definitely longer.

Wagons Ho!

Loved the enchanted wagon… all convenience our ancestors didn’t have! Decorated cute, amazing setting in a lovely RV park, secluded site, with woods, rock formations, creek if rainy… outdoor grill, lovely outdoor seating with table chairs and umbrella. Close to everything. Traveling with my husband-great time! Great support staff!

It was everything we expected and more! Chris and Wendy were excellent hosts and were quickly accessible with any concerns or questions we had. It was a cozy unique place to stay! The bed was extremely comfortable and we enjoyed the patio area for morning coffee and an evening meal from the grill! Would definitely stay there again!

Such a cool spot!

Unfortunately we were in town for a wedding so we didn't get to use the fire pit but we will be coming back for a second stay! The wagon is so unique and the host, Chris, tours you through and tells you all about it and the campground. Its beautiful and well stocked for a relaxing weekend. Definitely would recommend for people who want a fun stay or outdoorsy people.

Great stay in Conestoga Wagon in Peculiar

Had a wonderful stay in the Conestoga wagon! Set on a serene, wooded site that borders on a seasonal stream in an RV park. Completely private with absolutely everything you might need for your stay. Great outdoor patio, with covered table and chairs next to a fire pit and double grill. The inside of the wagon is much more spacious than it appears in the photos, and is extremely well appointed, with many special touches. And the bed…SO COMFORTABLE! Chris was great to work with. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Would definitely recommend for a unique, special getaway!

Perfect overnight stay

What a great experience for a quick getaway for our anniversary. The wagon is unique and cozy and the park was so peaceful and inviting. The hosts were fantastic and the check in process so seamless and personable. We have already suggested to lots of our friends and family.

Wonderful!!!

Wonderful stay. Incredible amenities that go above and beyond expectations. I drink ALOT of coffee and usually have to bring extra k cups. Enough was provided, that I didn’t even need them. Seems small, but those small things matter!! Also, the bed was the MOST comfortable ever!

Lovely Covered Wagon

Staying in the covered wagon was such a unique and amazing experience! My girlfriend and I absolutely loved everything about it—the cozy atmosphere, location, and the thoughtful amenities.
