We stayed as a family 5 in this house in August 2026 for 5 nights. The house and its location are exactly as advertised. As others have said in prior reviews, Linda is a phenomenal host and very communicative. We very much enjoyed the close proximity to North Side Municipal Beach which we found to be just as nice as many other beaches that we have been to. The local restaurants that are walkable (within 3/4 of a mile) were great too. We would highly recommend renting this house.

Thanks so much for staying with us! I am so happy to hear your family of five had a great time and that you loved the beach and the local dining spots just as much as we do. It was wonderful hosting you, and thank you for the kind words about my communication. Hope to see you all again next summer!

The property was much more than was advertised. It was of course very beautiful and perfectly located near the lake but much more than that, Linda has thought through everything that you might need and provided it in the house before you know to even ask for it; right down to the raw sugar for your coffee and the plastic baggies for the leftovers; it’s already there. This house is a must “return to destination” and our family is already looking forward to next summer

5/5 Stars - Absolute Perfection in Sheboygan! Our family chose Sheboygan for our annual summer trip this year, and this house made it one of the best yet! The property is absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean, and incredibly organized with helpful labels throughout that made our stay completely seamless. The hosts have truly thought of everything. They didn’t miss a single detail! The house was fully stocked with every amenity you could ever need, including bikes, beach towels, beach chairs, and plenty of toys that kept the kids entertained the entire time. The location is unbeatable. We loved being super close to the beach, the downtown area, and the pier. On top of the amazing house, our hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and highly responsive to any questions we had.We had a perfect stay and will definitely be booking this home again for future family trips! We ❤️ Sheboygan

Your home was just perfect for our family. We seem to be staying a little longer each time we visit Sheboygan. The windowed living room was our favorite room to hang out in. The bedding was also VERY comfortable and we all had good sleeps! Thanks for having everything we needed for the perfect trip.

Lovely Saugatuck- Who Knew!

Beautiful and well appointed home was the perfect setting for our family reunion/daughter wedding. The super open kitchen dining room area accommodated our group perfectly. We were one block from the beach and access was easy. Outdoor seating area felt warm and private. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Would book this home again in a heartbeat.

Lakeside Legacy luxury!

We had the best week at the Lakeside Legacy home. Everything was just as we hoped for- home was spacious, beautifully decorated, super well-stocked and conveniently located close to the beach, golf, etc. Linda was the perfect host, providing every last detail and being on hand for any questions. We also appreciated having a grill, comfortable outdoor seating area and bikes to ride! We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it!

Teacher Getaway

Spectacular and so easy! Our host was in constant communication with us. She gave restaurant suggestions, brought out the patio furniture cause she had checked the weather and thought we might use it, and made the whole process simple. I couldn’t have asked for a better property to stay on. Location was exactly what we wanted as we could walk to downtown but also to Lake Michigan. I will definitely be returning! Thank you!

Probably the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed at !

Got out to such a great start with the owner - Linda last winter. She was so helpful giving me info about the area and she even helped me find the perfect place to host my son’s rehearsal dinner. It got better and better - her house is beautiful- very well decorated and stocked . Appliances are top quality -nice dishes and cookware. She has thought of everything- nice coolers - nice bikes , extra blankets , lots of beach towels . Use of a big , pristine garage is nice too. Darling enclosed backyard area with pergola and party lights. Grill in garage available too. Kids toys and books were available. So many nice touches made our stay so great. House is very close to the beach . It’s almost like Linda thought of everything we needed . It was the perfect place to stay while celebrating our family’s wedding.

Hi Donald- We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! The security camera on the back patio is only activated when the professional security system is turned on, which it never is during guest stays- only when it is vacant. The only camera on premises for guest stays is the ring doorbell. We will be sure to note that for future guests. My most sincere apologies for not communicating that to you, and for any discomfort you felt! We hope to have you all back again in the near future. Michelle
