Beautiful Creek-front Cabin convenient to Greenville and Kinston

Fawn Meadow Lodge is situated well off of the road on 4 private acres where you can enjoy beautiful views of the Contentnea Creek and local wildlife from the large lower deck or the cozy upper screened porch. Adjacent to a wildlife rehabilitation refuge for fawns, you are very likely to see deer as well as squirrels, rabbits, otters, eagles, etc. The lower deck is furnished for relaxation and includes a porch swing, charcoal grill and a propane gas fire pit perfect for making s'mores. Launch your small creek boat or kayak at the gravel launch area or nearby at the small public launch. Enjoy great fishing, wildlife viewing, walking or shooting hoops on the concrete pad. The lodge is convenient to world-class BBQ including the Skylight Inn and Bum's BBQ or multiple other dine in or fast food restaurants serving a wide variety of foods. Conveniently located between Greenville and Kinston, this is perfect for attending local ECU football games (30 min.), graduations, or for access to ECU Health Medical Center (25 min.) and UNC Lenoir Hospital (17 min.) . Two stop signs away from the new Greenville bypass, local trips to and from Greenville are quick and easy. This beautiful log cabin has vaulted ceilings and a balcony common area with lots of exposed beams for that warm, cozy feeling that only a log cabin has. The kitchen is well furnished with all appliances and includes a dishwasher, microwave, toaster and dual-service coffee maker for coffee by the pot or the cup. Basic condiments and spices are provided. Bring your groceries or shop for them a mere 10 minutes away in Ayden. There is table seating for 10 indoors or have a picnic at the picnic table in the beautiful backyard. Fawn Meadow Lodge sleeps 8 with linens and towels ready for your arrival!

This house was perfect for a family stay! The peaceful setting was just what we needed to regroup and enjoy each others company between the hustle bustle of an incredible graduation weekend. The house was immaculate, spacious and had all we needed. The host was incredibly attentive and lovely. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

This place was amazing! Angie was an incredible host the house was clean and her response was super fast. She even had a little treat waiting for us. We hosted a silent retreat here and it was perfect. The fawns were out and I just can’t rave enough!!

From the very first time I contacted Angie until we checked out it was an absolute pleasure! The cabin is gorgeous and during our stay we had the opportunity to see the deer. We loved our stay, we didnt want to leave and are already planning our next trip. Thank you Angie for your hospitality!

Wonderful Cabin in the woods

This was a great place to stay! This place had scenic views with a big creek for fishing, there was a fully stocked tackle shop down the road with live bait. The house was well stocked with everything to cook with and exceptionally clean. We got to cook out on grill and used fire pit for roasting marshmallows. A wonderful getaway for the whole family.

Cozy Cabin Get-Away in Super Serene Setting!

The cabin is absolutely gorgeous, and the setting itself leans itself to a very relaxing stay. Additionally, the host Angie is super responsive, and provides everything you possibly need for a wonderful stay. I give it 5 star's in every category! I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend the cabin and we will return back in the area!

Gorgeous views, good location, nice amenities. There was a dirty dish in the closet and the floors needed a good scrubbing between guests. We have an infant that crawls so it’s easy to see how clean everything is by the debris he collects on his clothes/knees.

Wonderful Christmas Getaway

Our stay during the week of Christmas was wonderful. The property manager did an excellent job with communication, granted we didn’t run into any issues with the property whatsoever. My parents who stayed with us loved the view and all the nature surrounding the property. The owner was so generous in decorating the inside and outside of the house with Christmas lights and the addition of the Christmas tree made our stay feel cozy and feel like home. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

Amazing cabin with wonderful amenities!

We booked this while looking for accommodations around Kinston. We were traveling from Texas with 80 and 86 year old grandparents so they could see where their granddaughter would be making her home. The process from booking to leaving was seamless. The hosts paid attention to every detail even leaving a sweet treat upon our arrival. We fished. We bbq’ed. We did puzzles. We took long naps. We sat on every porch. We loved every minute in this home. Highly recommend.

Wonderful family friendly

This is a great place to stay.. Angie was very sweet to work with.. There was 7 of us from out of town and my mom.. The cabin was very roomy . We had plenty if things to do even thoughit rained alot. my granddaughters ages 7 & 10 lived building sanscastles in the sand by the creek.. The cabin was very clean and the furniture was really nice. One of the nicest places we have rented.. Loved the cabin. I will stay hereagain if i come out with my fmily again.

Perfect place to stay for ECU graduation weekend!

We were so happy to have found this beautiful cabin! We were looking for a place to stay for our son's graduation from East Carolina University and this was the perfect choice. The cabin is about 25 min from campus. It was very clean and included some basic necessities (shampoo, soap, toilet paper, butter in the fridge, bottled water and even the supplies to make smores!) which was a nice touch. There was plenty of room for our family of 6. It was a very busy weekend with graduation activities and moving our son out of his apartment but I am so happy we got to spend a little time relaxing at this beautiful home. Thank you Angie!

Charming home out in country side!

There were 6 ladies who stayed at this charming, super clean, roomy, and beautiful home! We were playing in a tennis tournament in nearby Snow Hill. We loved the house, it really fit our needs. Plenty of space / beds. Hot showers, coffee pods provided. Large clean refrigerator. Plenty of areas to sit and visit. We enjoyed sitting on the porch. Ease of access . Beautiful nature and lovely lawn areas. A baby fawn even visited us and we heard it was a rescue that was being re-entered into the wild. Angie was super responsive with our questions. Definitely a 10!

ECU Graduation

This place is AMAZING! Attention parents of ECU students this is where you want to stay... we rented this beautiful cabin for our sons graduation this past weekend and it was wonderful!! At check in we were greeted with a welcome note and pastries. The house was exceptionally clean and had everything you could need. We hosted a small dinner party for my son and a few of friends (of course with Angies approval), and it was perfect! Plenty of outdoor/indoor space, many complimentary items from butter to coal, plenty of dishes, pots pans... Everything! Its warm inviting I'm only sad this place wasn't on the market throughout my sons time at ECU. We would have been frequent guest. All our question were answered immediately - Mark was wonderful. I don't know when we will be visiting again but coming back to this house with my family is a must. Other VRBO rentals should take a page from Angies book! 5 stars all around. Jen
