Cozy Cabin in Carpathian Mountains

Our cozy little cabin for is rich with opportunities to enjoy the outdoors an take a vacation from life in Romania's beautiful Carpathian Mountains with the cabin situated beside a rippling mountain stream. There are activities for all outdoor enthusiasts. From skiing and snowboarding on Muntele Mic's ski resort, to hiking the surrounding mountains, Tarcu mountain is 2,198 m above sea level, miles of trails to bike or atv, breathtaking scenery from the surrounding mountains, which are a photographer's haven. Observe the quaint romanian village life in the villages along the way as you come to the cabin. The nearest town Caransebes has a nice selection of restaurants, and a small mall and other stores for shopping. The Caransebes air show takes place every year, which is only 15 min from the cabin.

The Little Mountain Cabin is located in a very convenient location for day trips to see loads of medieval history of Romania. There are a number of castles, Sarmigezetusa, the ancient dacian capital, Fagaras Mountains, Sibiu, Brasov, Cluj, Timisoara, where the revolution began in 1989, and countless well preserved villages are all within a nice day trip range.

The Little Mountain Cabin has a picnic area beside the creek where you can enjoy summer nights, grilling and enjoying the peacefulness in the mountains. A quaint traditional water well fits the atmosphere of the Romanian village life. The large windows facing east in the living room allow the sunrise to stream in as you pour a steaming cup of coffee. The indoor wood fireplace creates a soft atmosphere on those snowy winter days, perfect to read a book and enjoy the crackling fire. An upstairs loft and balcony is a nice addition to the space and you can enjoy the sound of the rushing stream from the balcony. There are balconies out the back bedroom door, and also at the front door, perfect for a picnic.

Equipped with a full kitchen allowing you to cook for yourself, with a village store just 2 km down the road for any immediate needs you might have, they also have a nice selection of groceries. A washing machine/dryer is in the closet, for your use. The bedroom has drawer cabinets and a closet, ample room to unpack and organize.
