As your Viroqua home away from home the Little Yellow House offers a central location and homey charm. The 10 ft ceilings, wood floors, and many windows make its 600 sq ft feel light and spacious. Whether you are fly fishing, taking in a dinner and a show at the Historic Temple Theater, doing a weekend class, or having a relaxing weekend walking around downtown Viroqua and the farmers market…the sweetest of home bases is the Little Yellow House.

A dine-in kitchen has a wooden table under large South facing windows, where you can work, play a game or sip your morning cup of coffee. There are new appliances, a vintage farmhouse sink, a butcher block countertop and a fully stocked kitchen. Please let us know if you are missing something you need and we will bring it right over.
The bathroom, while tiny, is bright and sunny with a low entry shower. There is no tub.
The bedroom has a closet and dresser, and queen sized bed, with extra blankets. There are also black out shades for your dark sleeping enjoyment.
The living room has a cozy sectional for you to curl up in the corner of with your favorite book, or borrow one from our collection.
The second sleeping space is a pull out couch in the adjacent den. Perhaps this is obvious: we have space for 4 people-but this is only if they are able to sleep in a bed together. We do not have the space or the linens for people to not sleep in the beds. Please make sure if you are three or four adults you do not need individual sleeping spaces.
There is a covered front porch with a seating area which is perfect for relaxing and watching the world go by.
