Delightful two-bedroom house with sun terrace in the heart of Chania Old Town.

Casa Flora Old Town Chania is a 17th-century house of 120m².
Located in a quiet alley in the heart of the picturesque and very happening historical area of Chania Old Town, is next to the Venetian Harbour. There are lots of shops, restaurants and bars right below but the house is an oasis of peace and comfort as soon as you have stepped back inside.

Elegant, sophisticated interior with antique furnishing, authentic art, soft colourful fabrics, lots of lights and details.

It consists of two spacious high-ceiling air-conditioned bedrooms with very comfortable king-size and queen-size beds with Aloe Vera memory foam mattresses and pillows and one single bed. Total 3 beds that sleep comfortably five adults.Each floor has a flat screen TV, seating area, study, while in the 1st floor bedroom there is an indoor fireplace.

The residence has two luxurious bathrooms.The ground-floor bathroom has a shower and a bathtub.The upper bathroom on the terrace level has shower and a top load washing machine.
The ground floor kitchen is spacious, cute and fully equipped.Tea and coffee amenities.Welcome treat.
The romantic roof terrace offers 2 sunbeds, dinette/seating area and an Old town landscape view.

Casa Fiora Old Town Chania, provides free Wi-Fi throughout, cable TV, Air conditioning, heating , fresh towels & bedsheets, toiletries , shampoo, laundry hanger, iron, ironing board, hair-dryer, First Aid Kit , Fire Extinguisher, cleaning materials, coffee amenities, welcome treats , a removable folding table and chairs set for enjoying the alley .
Leinen changing is twice per week.

We had a wonderful stay in Chania. The house was very comfortably furnished and the location was perfect in the Old Town just steps from cafes, restaurants and shops. Katerini and Noni our hosts could not have been more helpful arranging taxis to/from airport and recommending great restaurants, beaches etc.

If you are thinking twice...don't! Old Town is THE BEST location that you can choose to enjoy the charm and history of Chania. If you are a history buff, or love architecture like I do...this house is swoon-worthy. You can read the history in the walls and walking the neighborhood streets is like stepping back in time. You can walk anywhere from this location...the beach, the lighthouse, the grocery store...there are 2 restaurants and a charming art studio right outside your door. I was nervous about not being able to be dropped at the front door with our luggage, but don't worry...your driver can drop you right down the street. Maybe a 2 minute walk from your door. If you drive yourself, there is a public parking lot a 10 minute walk away. In short, the atmosphere can't be beat, and the communication is A. Anything that you need, from check-in to recommendations...Noni and Konstantina have you covered! I truly loved it here, and I was a little broken-hearted when I had to leave.

Phantastisches Altstadtflair am Meer und qicklebendige Entspanntheit

Wir haben uns großartig gefühlt in Katherinas Ferienhäuschen! Stilvoll und praktisch eingerichtet, gemütlich und sehr komfortabel. Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen. Ob abends gemütlich auf der Dachterassse oder tagsüber bei einer Tasse Tee vor der Tür im Menschengewimmel sitzend gab es genügend Abwechslung. Und so im Herzen Chanias zu wohnen empfanden wir als großes Privileg. Unsere beiden Vierzehnjährigen konnten sich so auch selbständig durch die Stadt bewegen und genossen den Aufenthalt sehr. Den Strand, fußläufig erreichbar, besuchten wir gern. Und so einige gemütliche Tavernen... Wir bedanken uns herzlich für den schönen Aufenthalt und empfehlen das Häuschen sehr!

Great location, terrific host, cool rooftop veranda

We were made to feel welcome from the first moment, with provisions in the fridge and cabinets, a list of recommended restaurants, and a tour of the place. The location is ideal - in the heart of Old Town Chania on a street that was fairly quiet. Beds were comfortable and we had plenty of good towels, including beach towels on request. The host was responsive and incredibly helpful. My only caveat: Given the steep steps between floors and the doorless sleeping areas, I would not recommend this for those with small children or mobility issues. Otherwise, a perfectly delightful accommodation I would go back to in a heartbeat.

Great location with excellent host!

The apartment is beautifully decorated and perfectly situated-- we loved being in the old harbor, and within minutes walking distance to the main town, groceries, shopping, restaurants, and the beach. The host is also very responsive, flexible and good natured. She bent over backwards to help us anytime we had a question or need-- just wonderful all around!

Amazing!

This apartment was right downtown in the cutest streets of Old Town Chania, right next to the Venetian Port. Lots of shopping and great restaurants within a couple minutes walk. Beach is a short 15 minute walk. No need for a vehicle. Bus station is a five minute walk to get from and to airport. Very comfortable beds in big bedrooms. Nice large rooftop terrace. Lots of communication and suggestions that were very helpful from Katerina.

A Beautiful Rental In The Heart of Chania

Great location and very comfortable accomodations.

I highly recommend this property for its location and comfort. Katerina provided a very helpful list of suggestions for places to eat and things to do. Our arrival was delayed by several hours because of flight delays making for a very late arrival. Katerina arranged for Constantina to meet us at the apartment who could not have been more welcoming and helpful despite the late hour. I highly recommend this property for your stay in Chana.

Lovely appartement in the heart of the old town Chania with terrace

We spent a wonderful time at the lovely appartement in the centre of Chania. The two bedrooms are beautyfully decorated and spacious. The kitchen going out to the small street is very well equipped and we enjoyed sitting on our little chairs in the lane having a drink in the evening. The many stairs up to the bedrooms and the beautiful terrace certainly kept us fit. The location is perfect, with walking distance to many restaurants, countless little shops and the supermarket. Fortunately the tourist crowds were at some distance so we had a deep and sound sleep. Thank you very much much for everything statring with the warm welcome including eatable and drinkable starterkit which we highly appreciated.

Lovely old house in the heart of Chania Old Town

Everything ran smoothly from our very first communications with Katerina, with swift responses and clear instructions and Constantina met us at the house as arranged, on our arrival from the airport. There was a welcome basket of fresh fruit, salad ingredients for a Greek salad and a really good array of store cupboard ingredients. The house is situated in a traditional narrow street and oozes character but has been refurbished to a high modern standard whilst still retaining immense charm. The décor is a clever mix of antique and modern style with some really interesting art work Breakfast and lunch on the roof terrace was one of our most abiding memories of a lovely holiday. The roof terrace is accessed via a loft style ladder so may not be suitable for very young children or anybody with mobility problems. The house is very well equipped and real attention to detail-full range of toiletries left in both bathrooms, plenty of washing powder etc. There a couple of lovely family run tavernas a few doors down from the house, which we can thoroughly recommend-good locally sourced food, beautifully cooked and a hospitable Cretan welcome. The beautiful harbour is a short level walk away but you feel that you can step back from the hustle and bustle in this property giving you the best of both worlds. We particularly enjoyed exploring the surrounding old town with its eclectic mix of tavernas and shops-there always seemed to be something new to see. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and can't recommend the house and the service we received highly enough.

Beautifully appointed and situated home in the old city

My wife, I and our 18 year old son just spent eight wonderful nights at this gorgeous property situated in a quiet street in the old city. The home worked great for us as a family with the two queen/double-sized beds and the single bed in the loft. The kitchen was well equipped and met all our requirements and the roof terrace is an absolute delight for breakfasting, drinks in the evening and even dinner. The location was ideal; being in the old city, but just a bit to one edge which meant it was a generally quieter than toward the harbor yet still convenient to everything. Katerina is such a caring hostess and guided us throughout the process making it remarkably easy for us to both secure and get to the house ultimately. Constantina met us there promptly upon arrival and got us situated and oriented, answering all our questions. She and Katerina provided us welcoming ingredients for a Greek salad, fruits and even a bottle of refreshing Cretan white wine and some beers to get us properly launched. We really had a marvelous stay and the house surpassed our expectations. We'd recommend it (and probably will!) without hesitation to our friends and family.

Fabulous in Chania

We recently visited Chania (me, my husband and 11 year old son) and really enjoyed our stay at Katerina’s! This apartment is in a perfect location, within the Old Town, accessible to all parts of Chania, and only about a 5-10 minute walk to the Old Venetian Harbor. The apartment is spotlessly clean, and contains anything you can think of needing. For those travelers who may have trouble walking up stairs, be aware that this apartment is of the original old style, and there are steep steps leading vertically to each room/landing. Having said that, it is fully renovated and modern inside, including very good air conditioning, hot water, all appliances including hair dryer, and excellent WiFi. Upon our arrival in Chania, Katerina was waiting for us at the apartment, showed us around, and we were delighted to see that she had provided treats in the fridge, including a bottle of wine, bread, milk, coffee, etc. In addition, a very large modern supermarket is only 5 minutes away. The rooftop was a fun feature, and the beds good quality and extremely comfortable. Mid-way through the week, the housekeeper came and cleaned up and changed the sheets and towels. We really enjoyed our stay, and I highly recommend it to anyone!

Fabulous!!! Lovely and full of character. Great location and very well equipped.

We have spent a week in this lovely apartment. We loved its character and its comfort. Our daughter really loved the mezzanine bed in the second floor as a secret den. A great location to be in Chania, near all the amenities in the old harbour and an easy 15 mins walk to the beach. Katerina gave us a warm welcome and plenty of advice on places to go and eat when we arrived. All fantastic. I would certainly recommend a stay in this house. Thank you Katerina!!!

Charming place in a beautiful location

This is a charming and well-located home base to enjoy the many pleasures of Old Town. You can walk around to the many outdoor restaurants and cafes, and shops where artisans sell their beautiful clothing, jewelry and crafts. The picturesque Venetian Harbor of Chania is nearby. You can also easily step out of Old Town into the city and walk to the bus station for travels elsewhere in Crete. The place is a small, vertical home – 4 floors. For each bedroom, the bathroom is on a separate floor. Katerina was a very helpful host, and responded right away to any questions we had.

Excellent stay - great location!

Spent 6 nights here in late June - 2 adults. Host was responsive and finding the place/host was straightforward other than the fact that you cannot drive right up to the unit since cars are not allowed in old-town. Location was ideal - restaurants/shops right out the door. Only a few hundred meters from the harbor. A/C worked well (it was hot when we visited). Safe, secure area. Clean and well furnished. Washer was small but more than sufficient. Be aware that this is a 4 level unit (top level is one of the bathrooms and deck) - so lots of steps.

Location, location, location in the heart of Old Chania!

My husband, 18yo daughter and I enjoyed four days in this lovely home in June 2017. Communication Pre-Stay: Outstanding! Katarina could not have been more helpful, detailed, clear and responsive. Check-in: Katarina's assistant Constantina met us and greeted us very warmly, even though we were quite late arriving. She was very gracious and thorough, and made sure we knew everything we needed to know (including that we could call on her at any time for any help). We were very grateful that the kitchen was stocked with bottled water, coffee and creamer, fruits, bread, and even wine! The Home: Highlights were OUTSTANDING air conditioning in the two bedrooms, a washing machine on the top floor (and a nice drying rack for the wet laundry), a lovely roof patio, reliable WiFi and--again--LOCATION! I cannot imagine any home in Chania being more conveniently situated. We loved Chania and hope to visit again!

Great mix of urban and old world

Beautiful renovated home, with an eclectic decor. Aikaterini had thought of every detail down to shampoos in every bathroom, detergent, hair dryers.., all the touches and the home is immaculate and fully functional. We were welcomed with fruit, wine and a treat upon arrival. We felt as if we were staying in a friend's home. The location is amazing, in the heart of the old town close to everything and we truly lived like locals, even having dinner right next door at Mikio where Georgia took extra special care of us as Aikterini's guests and greeted us every day as we went about our adventures. The rooftop patio was a great place to unwind at the end of the day before heading out for dinner. Aikaterini was available by text or phone and any questions were promptly addressed. This home is perfect for 1 or 2 couples or a family with teenagers as there are lots of beautiful furnishings and steps which could pose problems for younger families. Anyone with mobility problems should also avoid as there are 4 floors and quite a few steps to handle. Overall a great way to experience Chania and would highly recommend.
