We had a wonderful stay at the Owls Nest. So very comfy and everything that we needed plus more. Close to wineries and the people of Augusta are fabulous. Highly recommend this location to anyone looking to stay and have some fun in Augusta. Sam was great to work with and answered any questions that we had.

Great place!

We needed a place last minute and they came through for us! It's bigger than Iliy looks in the pictures, but very cozy! We really enjoyed our stay!

The Owls' Nest was amazing! Loved this property and would definitely go back. Clean and well maintained. Cute decor and well stocked with towels and extra supplies in the laundry room.

Wine country vacation

This property was even better than described, a few more pieces of furniture so everyone was comfortable, a larger breezeway table and 6 chairs plus 2 super comfy rockers to relax in! Beds are super comfy and all the decor was very nice. Kitchen was outfitted with all the essentials for cooking, there was also an outdoor grill and fire pit which were an added surprise. Sam was very helpful and made our first ever VRBO rental experience easy and wonderful, it was very easy to communicate with her. The area has wineries and breweries either in walking or easy driving distance so there is plenty to do in the area. We did find that some of the local restaurants listed were actually permanently closed so you will have to travel a bit for food or groceries, just know that going in and you can make adjustments because there is plenty to find if you just travel a bit further out! Wonderful adult family vacation, we would absolutely stay there again, thankful to have chosen this property!

What a wonderful place! The house and neighborhood is wonderful. The home is very clean and roomy. We loved sitting on the screened in porch too! While we were in town for a wedding, we are considering coming back to spend time at the wineries and all that the area has to offer.

Super enjoyable

This property is located in the perfect spot to enjoy any of Augusta’s attractions. It is very clean and comfortable, with enjoyable decorations that enhance the cozy “home away from home” feel. Plenty of games, a nice tv, and a beautiful breezeway contribute entertaining opportunities during the stay. We greatly enjoyed our stay, and felt comfortable and very taken care of by the host. Easy to recommend this property, and we plan to visit again when we’re in the area.

Nice place for a relaxing stay

We came to Augusta for a half marathon event and this place was the perfect location to call base, and very comfortable and clean. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a clean and comfortable spot to land on a trip to Augusta.

Great little place to stay for Katy Trail & wineries

They had all the little extras. Very convenient and comfortable. Even had umbrellas handy for our run in the rain to the nearby Augusta Winery.

Augusta Getaway

What a beautiful home set in an equally beautiful town of Augusta, MO. The drive in on Hwy 94 was as scenic as can be with all the Fall color and windy roads through the hills of wine country. The house itself was set in the perfect location with several wineries within a short walking distance. The owner, Samantha, thought of everything from disposable slippers, warm robes, fresh towels & linens, to little treats spread throughout the home. And the beds were amazing! Super comfy!! We thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay and hope to be back again soon to enjoy more than one night next time...and of course, enjoy more of the wineries! Thank you to Samantha for providing such a beautiful home!

Girls Trip

It was a spontaneous girls getaway, Owl’s Nest was our perfect landing ❤️ It was so peaceful and relaxing. We loved every laugh that was shared on the screened in porch. Sam was the best with communication in checking in and all the details for our stay. We definitely will be flying by again ❤️❤️❤️

Truly Accommodating!

Perfect fit for our needs. The location and the space were perfect. Clean generous size rooms, and the host thought of everything to accommodate us (water, snacks, plenty of towels, Bluetooth speaker, firewood, etc,). We loved sitting by the firepit and on the screened in porch. This will definitely be the place I'll stay on my return visit. Samantha, was in contact with me via email email throughout our stay. The entire process of booking the Vrbo was easy and convenient.

Owl's Nest is perfection

From the very moment that we arrived, this property was magical. I should start by saying that we showed up far after the typical Check-in period, so it was late into the night when we arrived. Traveling with QuasiAdult children sometimes that way. The space is positively charming, everything was pristine, and our girls tumbled from room to room ooohing and ahhhing at all the little touches; the robes, the make-up cloths, the chocolates.The beautiful little seating area in the Master bedroom! Ohhh how i covet it. Honestly, it was more like a luxury stay than a quick weekend to get away for a wedding. After we stowed our attire in the ample & well placed closets, & got little one settled on the plush fold-out that she cocooned into like a little bear, our older daughters & I went out to sit in the chairs, by the fire ring & fairy house. There was an actual owl in the tree above the house. See what I mean? Honestly, magical. Great appliances, very comfortable beds, the screened-in porch was perfection. Tiled bathroom was a hit, & the extra watercloset in the girls room came in clutch when preparing for the big event, which brought us there. Quiet, very comfortable, & perfectly situated, this area felt like a place that time forgot. No hustle and bustle, just peaceful and perfect. I would have no hesitation whatsoever about recommending The Owl's Nest; whether a family, a group of friends, a couple, or solo traveler. We plan to return, if life ever slows down!

Hello Guest! We are Joe & Samantha Bina, we are from San Diego, California but we have family members that live in the town of Augusta! While visiting our family we fell in love with this enchanting town and wanted to be able to share our home with other guests that are looking for an experience. The small town feel of Augusta is what drew us in and keeps us coming back. Being able to walk the quiet streets to the local winery, or hiking/riding the Katy trail, gazing at beautiful sunsets and surroundings, eating a gourmet dinner at Root Restaurant or just relaxing on the screened in patio with family & friends is just a few of the experiences our place can offer. We hope you fall in love with the spirit of Augusta as well!
