Sedona Palisades Overlooking Oak Creek Area

A beautiful home located in the prestigious Palisades subdivision of Sedona perched above Oak Creek. We live upstairs and are sharing the lower level of our personal home with guests. It is a self contained apartment complete with a master bedroom and bathroom, a full kitchen, living room & laundry room with washer/dryer. Just a short walk from the house is a swimming hole on Oak Creek. The red rock views are spectacular from the home and a beautiful pond with turtles and fish are just outside the entrance. Enjoy the restful sounds of the waterfall and small creek from the upper pond to the lower pond. Abundant hiking, galleries, shops and restaurants are nearby in this internationally known town.
The main entrance is through the sliding glass door on the lower level. A walkway from the driveway down to the entrance has about six steps but is otherwise flat. The master bedroom includes an ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi tub. The living room with gas fireplace also includes a full-size professional pool table. A full kitchen and laundry room with washer/dryer are included. Off street parking is available in driveway parking area. The base price includes up to four people.
We live upstairs and have a purebred Golden retriever. She loves to greet visitors and shares the garden space. Sedona is a dark sky city and the night sky is beautiful for star gazing, viewing the milky way and the planets.

Nice Place To Stay

The property was very nice and quiet. It wasn't too far out of town so that was nice as well. It was well stocked and the bed was very comfortable. The hosts were very responsive and friendly.

Nice Place good location.

Nice place, it was perfect for the two of us. Pretty views, with a babbling brook, fish and of course Sky. Their very sweet Golden retriever. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Sweet stay in great location

The unit is in a good central location. It was immaculate and very well stocked with several kitchen appliances that are not normally seen in a rental unit. The owner provided good communication prior to the stay and during the stay.

Great location and views

This home is in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood with great views. The location makes it easy to explore all that the Sedona area has to offer. It is spacious and comfortable. Jean and Bill made sure everything we needed was there even a cooler and ice packs for a picnic.

Fabulous location and value

Loved being away from the hustle of Main Street Sedona. Outdoor area of the rental is outstanding with a main and ancillary porch. We are able to see the top of rock formations from the seat on the porch. A good value, given the location.

First time in Sedona

Wife and I celebrated our 30th anniversary in Sedona. Stunning visuals. The VRBO we stayed at was nice, quiet, and worked out great. Property owners were super friendly and responsive. Certainly worthy of a repeat!

Disappointing trip to visit daughter

My family went to Sedona, Arizona, to visit our daughter. We chose to rent a home because I like to cook. The house was really pretty, but our son became sick with the flu, I became sick with the flu, and my husband didn't feel well the whole time. We had not been sick or exposed to anyone sick before our trip. Unfortunately this was most of our vacation. We felt that possibly there had been sickness in the home and it should have been disinfected in some manner. Also, the gas fire place did not work.

Nobody likes to be sick and especially when they are on vacation. We are sorry that it happened to you and your family. We hire professional cleaners after each guest checks out. We've not been ill or had any guests visit us prior who have been ill either. The gas fireplace is operated by a switch on the wall. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. In checking it today it operates perfectly. We will add a label to the switch for future guests so that it will be more recognizable. We hope that all of you are in good health now and that you will have another opportunity to visit your daughter again in Sedona.

Serene Sedona home and more!

A beautiful home with lovely hosts Bill and Jean. Every vista from this residence is pure heaven and the sweet sounds of the yard's water landscape was intoxicating. My adult daughters and I traveled to Sedona for a weekend getaway and this was the perfect place to relax after a busy day of hiking, wine tasting and soaking up the Sedona sunshine. Couldn't ask for nicer folks as Bill's recommendation of the West Fork trail in Oak Canyon was a blessing! Jean provided all the information we needed to make this weekend carefree and successful. Thank you both...the memories will past a lifetime a d your home was the perfect setting. Deer at night heard in the canyon below the residence and a friendly pup to greet us. Loved every minute and the jacuzzi tubs helped soothe leg muscles used climbing the Sandstone hills. Highly recommend and hope to return in the future.

Great Experience!

Property was very comfortable. Enjoyed being able to sit outside and enjoy the views as well as being roomy and cool inside. Lacked for nothing. Easy access in and out. Owners were very friendly.

Great location! Very clean

The location is really great because you are close to town and many popular hikes. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had our own parking space so that’s convenient. Jean and Bill were friendly and helpful without being obtrusive. The only negatives were that the living room set up is a bit awkward to watch TV. Also some of the blinds were hard to use. However it was a lovely place to stay!

It was a perfect place to stay for visiting Sedona for our girls’ weekend (2 of us). The property had gorgeous views, easy access to everything in Sedona and the owners were wonderful!

Great location, excellent hosts

This property is spacious and has everything needed for a relaxed, comfortable stay especially with the long jetted tub-perfect after a day of hiking. The central location makes it easy to access all of the area activities. Being close to the airport, I was worried about plane noise but that was not an issue. Bill and Jean are wonderful hosts who are quick to answer questions and make suggestions.

Great stay -- thank you!

The property was exactly as advertised. My family of four had plenty of room to spread out and relax -- when we weren't out hiking the surrounding Sedona area. The pool table in the living room was a great bonus for our teenagers!

Location Location Location

This property, located in the scenic heart of Sedona, gave us easy access to everything we wanted for a relaxing and enjoyable long family weekend. The property managers were responsive to all of our questions and requests before and during our stay. The property was comfortable and featured nice red rock views and a relaxing fish and turtle pond. Sleeping quarters include a large master bedroom, a nice-sized second bedroom with a sliding door that separates this room from a third bedroom with two twin beds, and a sofa bed in the living room. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. A special plus came from walking just up the road above the driveway. At the top of this hill lies one of the best red rock views we’ve seen in Sedona.

We enjoyed our stay!

Great location for food, activities, hiking, shopping and all Sedona has to offer. We even walked to the creek to dip our toes a few times. Very nice! Owners were accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable of things to do in the area. 😊

We have lived in this part of Sedona for many years and have always loved the fantastic and ever changing views of the area's red rocks and Mogollon rim. We see a beautiful sight with every sunset and change of season. It is magical to watch the moon rise over the rim each night.

We love to walk down to Oak Creek. The sunset views from our deck/patios of the red rocks are stunning and always changing. Even watching the monsoon rains from the deck is amazing!
