"Inn at the LC Ranch" Stay at the HISTORIC ADOBE Lyons & Campbell Ranch Headquarters in our premiere accommodation, the well appointed "Gate House", in secluded Gila, NM. Enjoy the fully renovated Gatehouse with A.C, marble bathroom with Jacuzzi, King size four poster bed, and two satellite TVs. The space
EV CHARGING STATION ON SITE. Bring your charger, we have the 50 amp receptacle! We have restored the instant booking feature on for the Gatehouse. We have had our Covid vaccinations and expect our guests to be vaccinated as well. The pool will open in May for the season But the Hot Tub is currently off-line till further notice. ( I accidently blew up the boiler so we are taking this opportunity to do some much needed upgrades) The Mimbres design Hot Tub is wood fired and takes all day to heat up. It is available on request. WE HAVE JUST RE-FIT THE THEATER WITH A HIGH DEFINITION VIDEO PROJECTOR AND 20 FT. SCREEN. THINK MOVIE NIGHT!!
You are welcome to hang out in the Saloon, play cards, roulette, pool or listen to music. We also allow a minimum of 48 hours vacancy between guests. As we are social distancing, we will have little contact with guests. If you want to escape the big city, hide out and relax in secluded rural New Mexico, the L.C. Ranch is here for you. DOG FRIENDLY!! $10 per dog/per night Pet Fee! We love dogs, no cats please. Dogs left unattended MUST be crated or kenneled. We have a 6' kennel on site. We have three very large Newfoundlands that love company. Life in the country, shop in nearby Silver City for groceries, full kitchen, nothing nearby, only a gas station with very basic necessities.

The "Gate House" is a newly renovated, well appointed accommodation perfect for a couple, or couple "plus one", with King Size four-post bed, AIR CONDITIONED, full kitchen, 2-flat screen Satellite TVs, private marble bathroom with Jacuzzi. (The "Bunkhouse" is a much larger, only partially renovated and more rustic accommodation for up to seven people. Click on our host link to get you to the Bunkhouse listing) . Once you're settled in, time to check out the Ranch. A New Mexico Historic Site, and on the National Registry of Historic Places, The National Park Service, in their publication "The Cattleman's Empire" described the million acre L & C as "Overshadowing all other ranching operations in the Southwest", and “The L.C. remains as one of the last surviving Great Ranch Houses of the Old West”. The Lyons and Campbell Ranch Headquarters is a 60 room, 8 acre, Adobe compound that today includes a 27 room adobe Mansion, Saloon, Jail, Chapel, Theatre (with new High Def Video!) , Gallery, Bunkhouse, Bath house with large wood-fired Mimbres design communal Hot Tub, Swimming Pool and Lanai with wood burning brick pizza oven and BBQ. (Bath house, Hot Tub, Swimming Pool and pizza oven are seasonal, and not available in the winter months.)
The cattle, cowboys and million acres are long gone. Cattle Baron Tom Lyons' 27 room adobe mansion, lavishly refurnished, remains along with all the outbuildings of the L C Ranch Headquarters. A 501(c)3, your stay will help fund ongoing restoration projects. Donations are tax-deductible.
Guest access
Guests can access the Lanai, swimming pool, Mimbres design Hot Tub and are welcome in the Historic Saloon. The Gatehouse has its own jacuzzi/bathtub as well. The Saloon has a pool table, professional P.A. system and great atmosphere, but no liquor license, so it is BYOB, as is the entire ranch. The Gallery has a Steinway grand piano. We encourage musicians to bring their instruments and enjoy the many inspiring venues on the ranch. Consider the comfort and seclusion ideal as a song writing retreat...
Other things to note
Gila is a tiny village in a beautiful river valley at 4,200 ft. elevation. Our climate is very different from Southern Arizona. Our summers are warm enough to enjoy the pool, but not blistering hot like Tucson. Our winters are short, but still cold to us, with low temps in the teens and twenties, and highs in the 50's. We have added a second apartment for 2018, the somewhat rustic 2 bdrm, 2 bath Main Bunkhouse. Not as nice as the Gatehouse, but it sleeps up to seven people. We have a lot of ongoing projects, and are hoping our new venture into will help us fund and focus on them.
