Your 1,000 square foot one bedroom, one bathroom, walkout lower level (owners live above) offers more than just rest and relaxation! Wake up in the morning to a breath-taking view of Coeur D'Alene Lake and grazing wildlife, with the smell of fresh coffee and a cozy place in which to enjoy it. Equally impressive are the colorful lake sunsets, with distant lights dancing across the water, while you sit on the porch enjoying the cool mountain air with that special someone. You'll get to enjoy all the amenities of home (full kitchen, laundry, storage) in a romantic and pastoral setting. The smart TV, gas fireplace, soft fabric couch, and plush new king size bed help to make your stay more comfortable, and the foldout couch airbed are available to sleep up to four people. All three rooms (bedroom, living room, and kitchen/dining room) reveal stunning lake and wildlife views. Do you like to shop? Downtown Coeur d'Alene (CDA) is less than ten minutes away. Enjoy exercise? The Centennial Trail, less than 2 minutes away, offers running, walking, biking, jogging, and sightseeing. How about some golf? The Coeur d'Alene Resort offers one of the finest and most unique courses (complete with a floating green!) in the country, and is only five minutes away. Sanders beach, just minutes away, offers fun in the sun and in the water. Jimmy's Down the Street restaurant serves one of the best breakfasts in CDA. This was one of the nicest VRBO‘s that we have stayed in. It was in a beautiful area, the home was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed seeing the deer in the evening in the morning. The host was very personable, but yet non-intrusive. Overall, a wonderful stay. Thank you for allowing our service dog.

We had a wonderful stay at this great property in cda. Great views in a much more quiet and rural area than in downtown. If you're looking for a quiet comfortable spot that's not too far from everything this is your spot!

Great view of Lake Coeur d’Lane. Loved the evening and early morning with deer walking through the field below the house. Very roomy accommodations.

Beautiful view of Couer D'alene lake. Very clean and convienient. Located 10 minutes from downtown. I can't say enough about how helpful the host was and how fast they were to respond to us when they were contacted. Thank you Rhonda and Tony for the opportunity to experience this place and if we come back we will BEE trying to stay again. Definitely worth the money and would have paid double

Wow, what a wonderful experience. Meeting the hosts, Rhonda and Tony, was great. We left feeling like we obtained new extended family members/friends. They were very accommodating and invited us to social events. Help us whenever we needed anything or support. The home is larger than expected. The view is fabulous. Everything you need is in the unit. This rental was one of the best experiences we have ever had traveling. Thank you, Tony and Rhonda. We truly enjoyed our stay and our visits we had with you.

Best Place in Coeur D'Alene

The house was so nice and clean! Such a beautiful view of the lake too. Responded extremely quick and had everything we needed. Best place to stay!

Wonderful place

Great place to stay in the Coeur d’Alene area. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood with great views of the lake. Full kitchen, comfortable bed and well-equipped bathroom. We enjoyed the many deer that visited the back lawn every morning.

Serene getaway with beautiful view

We so enjoyed our stay at this place with a beautiful meadow out in front of the entrance where deer could be seen and beautiful views of the lake. Owners live upstairs and were very friendly and responsive when we reached out with a request but otherwise let us have our space to enjoy their beautiful spot!

Blissful Retreat

The home was lovely, quiet, relaxing and had everything possible that I needed. I loved the view of the lake and the grass to walk on to visit with the deer and birds. If I come back this way again, I will most definitely be booking with Tony and Rhonda. :-)

The perfect location just outside of town up on a hill overlooking the lake. Very quiet. We saw deer every morning and night. The unit was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The hosts were extremely responsive.

Peace and beauty

We had a fantastic stay. The view was breathtaking, especially with the frequent visits from deer and wild turkeys in the yard. The walkout basement apartment was spacious, tidy, and modern, providing a comfortable living space. The owners were always quick to respond.

Scenic Property

The property was clean, spacious, and had beautiful views. The owners were very accommodating and all the essentials were in the apartment. The only negatives were unreliable internet and the quarter mile of dusty road to the property. We enjoyed our stay and the space in the apt. for our golden retriever was great.

Relaxing

We came for a wedding but stayed a few extra days for some rest and relaxation. This little place was perfect. The highlight of course was nightly visits from the deer. Bed was comfy. Clean. And the view was very nice. Especially sunset. The only thing that I would say (and I checked other reviews for this) was that you can hear the owners walking around and talking. But it wasn’t loud and it didn’t bother us. I would stay here again.

Relaxing Oasis

We were in town for a wedding which included several family gatherings in addition to the wedding ceremony and reception. This rental provided the perfect setting to unwind and relax between gatherings. The hosts live upstairs so they are nearby if you need anything. The place is so much larger than indicated by the pictures! It's super clean and has a large kitchen. Plenty of towels are included for the bathroom. The view of Lake Coeur d'Alene is spectacular. Also, the location is quiet, just outside busy Coeur d'Alene. We enjoyed this rental so much! Thank you!

Ronnie and I had a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful, lovely sunsets over the lake! We saw deer and and owl. I adore owls. Everything was perfect, except the outside steps that we had to take back and forth to get to the car. But we loved the place itself. I highly recommend this location.

Beautiful, Peaceful Retreat

We loved the spacious daylight basement accommodations with amazing views of Lake Coeur d'Alene from every window! Tony was welcoming and very helpful, available in minutes for any questions. And our pups loved the yard!

FABULOUS

This is one of nicest VRBOs we have stayed at. Very comfortable, roomy, and well stocked. The bed was great! We had everything we could possibly need. The owners were warm and welcoming! They were very kind and accessible yet gave us our privacy. The property and its views are spectacular! Deer and or Elk were seen nightly. There were also occasional Barkley sightings - one of the sweetest yellow dogs around! The location is convenient to downtown with all the restaurants and shops. We highly recommend a stay at Sha Ka Ree if visiting Coeur d' Alene!

Great property and perfect setting.

My sister and I stayed here while we vacationed in the Coeur D'Alene area. It was a perfect place for comfort and peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It was a very short drive but still felt rural. Loved all the amentities and they included anything you could ask for.The host was great and we really enjoyed the resident lab Barkley. Highly recommend it to make your visit to the area perfect. We were fortunate to see young deer cross the property on our last morning which was a fun end to our stay.
