This quiet studio condo in North Kihei sleeps 2 people on a queen murphy bed and queen sleeper sofa. The well kept complex offers a nice pool, jacuzzi, tennis court, BBQ area and on site laundry. The full kitchen offers the budget traveler the option of cooking although restaurants are close at hand. Bring your laptop to use the suite's free wifi internet and chill out with the brand new A/C.
Venture across the street to the Kalepolepo Beach Park for a sunset where the sky meets the ocean and offers a quiet beach with calm shallow waters for easy wading (historically walled off for an ancient fishpond reserved for Hawaiian royalty). Beside the park add to this culture, free visits to the Hawaiian Island Humpback Whale Education Center to inform and captivate. Just North again, take a serene walk on one of the longest continuous stretches of beach on Maui.
Amenities close by offer restaurants, pharmacy, grocery market, salon and outdoor markets for Hawaiian keepsakes. Along South Kihei Road, take in water sport opportunities, surf shops, bars and the night life.

Overall, we had a good stay. The location is great as it's close to the beach with free parking. We really appreciated the beach chairs, snorkel masks, and pool noodles, and the front hose area was convenient for rinsing off. It would’ve been nice if basic toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) were included, though they did provide sunscreen which was thoughtful. We did notice a few small bugs, but that seemed fairly normal given the top mesh door opening. There was an issue with the sink, but management responded quickly and had it replaced the next day. It felt a bit pricey for the condition, but that’s pretty typical for Maui.

This host of this place thinks of all the little details, like beach chairs, a cooler, beach towels, etc. etc. Had wonderful stay here. Highly recommend!

Inexpensive place to stay

One of the more inexpensive areas to stay on Maui. Across the street from the ocean (No ocean view). Close to downtown Kihei for shops/restaurants/etc.

Great quiet location of unit, Across the street from the Beach. Enjoyed Hot Tub

We enjoyed the location after staying several places in Kehei and walking to the beach was easy. Unit was all we needed and quiet. Enjoyed the Hot Tub almost every night.

Would Return Again and Again!

As a previous rental host I have pretty high standards. This wonderful place met them all. Sparkling clean, had pretty much anything you would need for a stay in Maui, the A/C unit has been upgraded to a drop down and works great! Had some issues working with Roku, but the manager and owner were very responsive. Best rental I've stayed at.

Cozy condo that had it all!

This condo has everything you need for a nice place in Maui. We really enjoyed the use of the hot tub and pool. The beach chairs and umbrella were quite handy at the beach. We had a wonderful time staying at Darilyn’s condo.

Wonderful Maui Experience!

We had a marvelous 9 night stay in this home away from home! There was plenty of space in the room, and the lanai was perfect for shaking off sand and eating a quiet dinner! 10/10 recommend!

Older but comfortable

Darilyn and Linda were good at communicating with us. The studio is older, but it was well stocked and clean. The accommodations were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay!

Comfortable Stay and a Maui Value Rental

The development is older and is in a low area that has see flooding so the laundry was closed due to flooding but the property is very functional but could use some upgrades and your in a quiet area but also in the middle of all things to explore in Maui !

Cozy place in paradise!!

We stayed here for 10 days and it was wonderful! It had everything that we could possibly need. The condo complex felt safe and clean. We met several residents at the pool who were so friendly and gave us great ideas for restaurants and excursions. The best part was the affordability. Hawaii was always a bucket list vacation for us but we never thought we could afford it. This condo and it’s great prices made the trip possible for us and, for that, we are eternally grateful.

Perfect home base

Hubby and I have stressful jobs, and somehow hadn't made time to vacation in over 11 years. When we started planning, I was looking for something quiet and away from the rush but central enough so we could easily get out and do everything we wanted. This little place worked perfectly for the two of us. We are active, and don't need some posh villa, just a clean, safe place to lay our heads with a full kitchen to help keep costs down. The owner was super easy to deal with. Was a pleasant experience all the way around. Will definitely stay here if we are lucky enough to come back!!

Family trip

Unit was nice and neighbors were quiet. Sliding screen door needs a new spring roller, was dragging. It was away from the more upscale condos but centrally located for our needs. Took a couple of days to realize (my mistake) how to access the pool area. Property manager was very nice and prompt with communication. Overall it is a nice rental for the price point and great for basing trips to the beaches and running around Maui.

Perfect little condo!

I stayed in this studio for about two months while completing an internship. The property is very well maintained, maintenance staff are extremely friendly, and residents are nice. Pool area with grill is perfect for entertaining or relaxing. The unit itself is the perfect size for one or two people. Very clean, well furnished, all necessities included. The owner was very helpful in answering any questions or responding to concerns. I would definitely recommend to family, friends, couples, anyone! Steps away from the beach and very close to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Awesome condo! My stay was wonderful, and I hope to return soon.

Aloha, These are so many of the reasons why I chose this studio at Kihei Bay Surf. My goal is to continually improve my vacation home one step at a time. First-timers to Maui

Generously sized studio with pretty much everything a couple needs. The bed was very comfy (some firmer pillows preferred!) Clean and tidy, good-sized lanai, comfy (the green carpet dates the unit though) Excellent value for money. Well kept complex. No bars, etc, nearby and no other guests making noise at night so very restful and relaxing. 15- 20 minute walk (3 min drive) to nearest shops and restaurants. Bus-stop right outside complex. Owner helpful and prompt to answer all and any queries. Overall, a very pleasant experience at the Kihei Bay Surf. I would definitely recommend this property to others and not hesitate to go back there myself.

Thank you for your comments. The introductory rates are very reasonable. Some furnishings and fixtures are original and provide comfort that allow fees to stay low providing time for their gradual replacement. I too, enjoy the peace and relaxation. Warm regards.
