Welcome to Cozy Oak Cottage, a brand new “Modern Farmhouse meets Cabin in the Woods.” Conveniently located 6 miles North of downtown Boerne & within 22 min of Luckenbach, 35 min to Fredericksburg & 20 min to Comfort, the Cozy Oak is nestled in the perfect hill country spot! The stars at night are big & bright here so sit out and enjoy the large 2 level deck under the canopy of trees. Comfort & style come in small packages & modern style in this 600 sf cottage. Bedroom PLUS private sleeping loft
The space
The Cozy Oak Cottage at The Red Barn Ranch is situated in between the mature oak trees and surrounded by white tail and axis deer in the beautiful hill country. Experience the Texas Hill Country charm by staying in a modern farmhouse cottage - The Cozy Oak! The cottage is privately tucked in the oaks on a 9 acre property shared with owner’s farmhouse. Conveniently located off the scenic Hill Country pathway to the famous music venue of Luckenbach (20 minutes), 35 minutes to Fredericksburg's wineries, within minutes of several popular wedding venues, and a short 5 minute drive to the Guadalupe river (with public access) for kayaking, fishing & floating. Many Hill Country wedding venues within quick drive as well.
The Cozy Oak Cottage has one small bedroom downstairs and a sleeping loft upstairs. It is brand new & meticulously cared for and is a great place to get away for some relaxation while still affording all of the modern amenities you want.
There is a private area amongst some trees that offers a picnic table, lighting and a table/chairs for sitting and enjoying your morning coffee, lunch or dinner.
Reminder that this is a non-smoking, no parties and no pet listing. Also, no more than four people can be accommodated. Sorry- we are set up for only 4 people...max! Sorry but no exceptions.
Guest access
Guests of the Cozy Oak Cottage have access to two tier deck and the cedar forest around the cottage. Also the game barn and sports court across the driveway from the cottage.

The Cozy Oak Cottage at the Red Barn Ranch is in the country meaning you may see insects, critters and other native wildlife. We have our cottage treated for insects but we are in their habitat and they occasionally make an appearance.

Raised my three sons on this property in the Texas Hill Country where we call home. We absolutely are beyond blessed to be able to host our guests and we love to do it! We are a baseball & outdoors loving family & love the Lord. We have hosted short term rentals for 6 years - we love people and we love our sweet new little Cozy Oak Cottage and cannot wait to share it with our guests. I am known for leaving sweet treats for all of my guests and have been doing so for 6 years! Now it's time to do so for the cottage - our only current short term rental on the property.

The Red Barn Ranch, where the Cozy Oak Cottage resides, is also home to our family farmhouse and is on 9 acres just 7 miles from downtown Boerne, 6 miles from the quaint town of Sisterdale along a beautiful scenic farm to market road that cuts thru the Texas wine country. Deer and wildlife roam around here as well as our friendly chickens!

The cottage is surrounded by towering live oaks that are hundreds of years old and a cedar forest with a two-tiered deck that climbs thru the center with twinkle lights for ambience. The cottage itself was completed in April of 2024 and is a 600 sf Modern farmhouse meets cabin in the woods. Here you are likely to see deer around the property and/or the vicinity and, on a clear evening, the stars will surround you!
