Was in town visiting family and decided to go this route rather than stay at a hotel. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in pictures.The whole check in and check out was seamless which made the whole experience stress free. Fabian is an incredible host and I would absolutely stay here again.

Awesome communication with the hosts. Very responsive. The home was clean & ready to go when we arrived. Good caring places to eat nearby & supermarkets to shop at for when you are eating at the house. The neighborhood is very peaceful.

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy and welcoming VRBO. The kitchen backsplash was gorgeous and the exposed beams added so much character and charm to the house . Fabian was also very easy to contact and responsive when we needed to reach himUnfortunately there were several housekeeping and maintenance issues that affected our stayWe had to clean the air conditioner filters before the units worked properly.The floor not appear to have been swept or washed, there was crumbs throughout the house, mainly in the kitchen.Pots and pans appear to be extremely dirty with caked on oil. We were unable to use them to prepare dinner. We also had to wash the dishes and cups before we use them.Some of the remotes were missing or did not work.The bathroom did not have mats nor support bars which would have been helpful.The house itself had a lot of charm and potential. Attention to some cleaning issues and maintenance that would be helpful. I am assuming it is the cleaning company that was responsible for maintaining the house. I did appreciate Fabian's attention to the matters we called him about. Overall we had a positive experience.

The house is actually roomier than it appears in pictures! Very clean and the owner was very nice and helpful. But the best part to me was the welcome book from the owners. Lists plenty of things to do and where you can eat but NOT a list of demands like I have seen in previous rentals. Its common courtesy to leave the house as you found it, to not be a slob.However, after paying a cleaning fee for most of these places. The last thing you want to see on your vacation is a huge lost of cleaning rules etc.We felt welcome here.

There is no vineyard so I’m not sure why I was asked to rate that, but the house we remodeled and very clean. It was a perfect location for our trip meeting other family members

The location of the property was great and the check in process was awesome. Unfortunately, we experienced a few things that all together caused some frustration. When we checked in the home was 90 degrees inside, no ac or fans were on so it took a bit to cool the home. There was a strange smell in the kitchen that we assumed was because the home was closed up but we found that there were dirty dishes left in the dishwasher which caused the odor. We tried to run the dishwasher and could not get it to turn on. I texted the homeowner to advise about the dirty dishes and I did get an immediate reply, however I never received a response to not being able to run the dishwasher. The next day we discovered that there was a switch that had to be on to power it so mystery solved. We went about our week and the night before we were leaving we wanted to wash clothes. When we went to use the washing machine there were damp, smelly clothes in the washer and dryer. We removed them and did our laundry. I advised the homeowner of this and again no reply.There are no check out instructions so we did the basics, including taking out trash. The garbage and recycle cans outside were completely full so we left the trash in a bag next to the cans. I advised the homeowner, still no response. If only one of these things happened no biggie, but everything that happened and the lack of response from the homeowner is frustrating.We will not be staying in this property again.

The home was very clean and convenient to where we needed to be. I didn't find the house well appointed with basic dishes or supplies.

Long Beach weekend

A nice long weekend beach getaway with family. House had everything we needed, was very clean and neat and everyone had their own space too. Our host was very responsive when I messaged him. Lots of places to shop and eat and the beach is super close! Thank you for a great place to stay for a really nice long weekend with my family. We will be back!

Spacious and comfortable

We stayed a week. The house is very nice, big kitchen lots of appliances for making meals and feeling at home. We had everything we needed as far as linen goes and extra toiletries and cleaning supplies, I bought some while I was there that I personally like to use, and then replaced some. Smart TVs and games to play. Big basement finished. The host was also very nice and respectful and responsive. Will def be back.

Stayed three nights

Family of 5 (2 adults, 3 teens) stayed for long weekend. Friendly and fairly quick communication with Fabian was appreciated. House is approx 1 to 1.5 miles to Long Island Sound and beach. Nice and quiet neighborhood. The place was clean with exception of downstairs which had some of the owner's personal belongings strewn about. The biggest disappoint was no hot water or heat for most of the stay. Fabian offered hot showers at another nearby location and brought in a space heater which was appreciated. Note that there is no hot tub or jetted tub as stated in the vrbo amenities description.

My apologies Wayne for the hot water as I called immediately to get repaired. Hot water is now working as intended and made sure basement was in order. We appreciate your feedback as we strive to make every guest experience the best possible.

Not the best area

Unfortunately the property is not in the best area. The cleaning crew left all the clean towels in a garbage bag outside on the porch, which I thought was very odd. We were not sure if the towels were dirty or clean. The towels were very poor quality & should be replaced with newer/better quality towels. The cleanliness was just okay; tbe couch was stained and a bed sheet was placed over the couch.

The property itself was wonderful, and the host was absolutely amazing. The host deserves five stars—he was extremely responsive and answered my texts every day throughout our stay. I would definitely rent from him again.That said, there were a few issues with the property. The furniture was very outdated and the couch stinks and the beds were uncomfortable to sleep in. There also were not enough towels provided, so I had to purchase additional ones myself.When we first arrived, the home had a noticeable cigarette smell, which led me to buy Febreze plug-ins to make it more comfortable. We also found numerous beer bottles in both the backyard and the basement, along with cigarette-filled bottles that had not been cleaned up.Overall, the host was fantastic and made every effort to be helpful, but the property itself could benefit from some updates and better attention to cleanliness.
