Enjoy new and completely updated floors, kitchen space, bathrooms, air conditioning, ceiling fans, and furnishings, incouding balcony furnished with Polywood bar height chairs and table and 2 Polywood Adirondack chairs with slide-in slide-out ottomans. Oceanfront master bedroom includes king-size bed and sitting area with reading chair and desk; second bedroom includes twin beds and sitting area; living room includes queen-size fold-out sleeper sofa with upgraded mattress, 2 La-Z-Boy recliners, a large flat screen TV, and a dining table that seats 6. Both bedrooms include new whisper quiet ceiling fans, black out window coverings, TV, closets, and chests for storage. Fully-stocked kitchen cookware and dining ware are included. Located on Galveston's peaceful and expansive east beach with quick access to Galveston's top attractions, including Pleasure Pier, the Strand, seafood markets, and fabulous shopping and restaurants!

Great stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was great! Very clean and well kept! Only downside was there is no pantry, so after grocery shopping for the week, we had to use the counter to store pantry items. But otherwise, it was amazing and we would definitely come back!

Everything was very clean and modern. The beach was great and the property heated pool was husband and I will definitely stay here again. The property was VERY clean.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Galvestonian has been a favorite for more than 20 years. Unit 502 was exceptional! We thoroughly enjoyed the condo, property amenities, and beach access. The front deck personnel was not as friendly or knowledgeable as in past years. They could not answer questions about cancellations even though there was a named storm in the Gulf. We did not like the mandatory wristbands...very annoying and uncomfortable.

3rd Time Returning

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 3rd time staying at the Galvestonian for a vacation. We love it every time! The condo's are great, the staff (in general) is great, the building and grounds are great, and the beach/ocean is so amazing!I will say that this time was a "little" disappointing, but probably not enough to stop us from coming back again. Our son had a few exchanges with a new front desk lady that was in-training when we were there, she was kind of rude and a bit condescending to our son, as well as the disappointment of not having laundry facilities available to us as we had had in the past. Also, not having housekeeping available in the evenings for things like shampoo, toilet paper, or lightbulbs (according to the front desk staff) was a bit annoying. However, in the mornings, the front desk staff grabbed said items out of the cabinet right there at the front desk, he didn't call housekeeping, so I'm not sure why we couldn't get that stuff in the evenings?? We were told we couldn't get it because housekeeping wasn't there, but the guy there in the morning grabbed from a cabinet at the front desk, he didn't call housekeeping, and said front desk trainee laughed at my son when he asked for another lotion and she said "we don't have stuff like that here". I was also bummed there wasn't a bonfire/firepit available.
