Waterfront -One bedroom with full bath attached to owners home. Access to main home is closed off. Homeowners live year round in home and are great host . Room has private outside entrance. Owner provided-Small k cup, ceiling fan, iron, all linen is provided- please bring lake towels though if you have them, table with chairs. Outside patio table for guests , floor fan, kayak, a few floats- recommend to bring personal float, cable, WiFi included. Room includes access to deck, shared boat dock with boat house bar. Guest also have access to shared small beach area, 2 bikes, hot tub, small fire pit- must bring firewood, access to gas and charcoal grill (charcoal not provided-gas is provided). Boat house includes full size refrigerator and small microwave for guest use. Renters may dock personal watercraft/boat at dock. Great neighborhood for a walking or bicycle riding. Fishing is permitted off dock, must have own fishing license. Lots of wildlife to enjoy- eagles-deer-bird watching. Close to Roanoke Rapids and Littleton. The point and Watersview Restaurant are about 15 car ride and 20 min boat ride. Bowling in RR- about 15 away. Room has queen bed and large enough for 2 adults. We are pet friendly- owner has lab and a cat.Have lots of fun in the sun ☀️. Not responsible for any injuries that may occur on property- including hot tub- boating-swimming.
You are only renting a bedroom that is attached to home owners main home- you are not renting the entire home. Home owner is happy to answer any questions 🥰. Guest have parking area- our home also has another driveway that can be used at times for extra parking. Guest park in paved drive way and use side walk way to enter room. Home is on one acre and has room to park a trailer in additional drive way. Guest will enjoy grilling, swimming, boating, bike riding, hot tub and relaxing. Owner does work during week so guests will pretty much all amenities to themselves🥰 the gas grill and charcoal grill allows guest to enjoy every minute while at the lake. Owner provides enough plates and silverware for cooking and dinning. Guest will definitely enjoy this waterfront bedroom and wake up each morning to a beautiful view🥰

They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. They had many snacks and drinks for us and would check periodically to see if we needed any . Definitely recommend this place for a relaxing getaway. We will definitely be going back

Had an amazing quick getaway with my lab and it was just what we needed! Fished from the dock all day and had a blast. Hosts were super sweet and generous. Easy parking and access to lake. Will be back again for sure.

The owners, Dennis and Jeannette, are hands-down the most hospitable hosts we’ve ever had—and we rent often! Booking, check in, and check out were very easy, and Jeanette communicated with us every step. The space was the perfect size for just the two of us, and exactly what we were looking for: a cozy, well-kept space that wasn’t an oversized house but still had everything we needed.The property is beautifully maintained, and the dock had plenty of space for our boat. Our golden retriever had the time of her life jumping off the dock, chasing sticks in the water, and getting some snuggles from the owners. We came looking for a peaceful, pet-friendly, boat-friendly getaway for our anniversary, and this place delivered in every way. We can’t wait to plan our next visit.

Home away from home!

Our state couldn’t have been better! Jeannette and Dennis go above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable and have everything you need for a relaxing stay. We especially enjoyed easy access to the lake, floating devices, and paddleboard. Thank you so much to our incredible hosts for making the weekend so special. We will be back!

Cozy setting on the lake

Very comfortable room comparable to a nice hotel room. It had many nice amenities, unfortunately our stay was to visit family who live near Lake Gaston so we didn’t have a to take advantage of all the offered amenities. We would definitely stay there again when in the area!

Gorgeous!

My sister and I enjoyed our stay. Jeanette and Dennis were sweet and accommodating. Their home is peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the hot tub, floating in the lake and all the beautiful plants and flowers. We cant wait to return!

Relaxing Getaway

The suite was beautiful and the views of the lake were spectacular. The hosts Jeanette and Dennis were very pleasant and made us feel very welcome. The suite was equipped with everything you’d need. Highly recommend and hope to go back again on the future.

Lake Gaston Getaway

We have stayed at many Vrbo’s but this, by far, was the best! Our hosts were extremely gracious. We had a beautiful room with a gorgeous view. They told us to use their private hot tub and even took us out on the lake with their pontoon boat. We spent the first evening sitting on their porch and talking with them. Jeanette left us all sorts of treats in our room! Definitely a great place to stay and we will be back. Highly recommend you staying there!!!

Can't wait to return

Jeanette and Dennis are amazing hosts. Everything we could need and more was provided for us to make our anniversary weekend special and memorable. They made themselves available to us 24/7 and everything was better than advertised. Plenty of things to keep us buys(fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding) and relaxing on the dock and the hot tub.

Peaceful lakeside well-appointed room with bath

The reviews praising the hospitality of the hosts are no exaggeration. Communicative, helpful and gracious. They offered great dog-friendly activities nearby, and then we got to come “home” to this beautiful lakeside haven.
