Casa Gris with private pool near the beach in Jaco

Architectural designer's home on quiet residential street, 6-minute walk to center, 7 to beach. Spacious, secure house with large private pool, thatch-covered terrace with table for 10. All bedrooms with TV, ensuite bathrooms.

The whole property (4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms) is rented to a single group and the pool is private. It is walled-in and consists of a two-bedroom, two bathroom main house and two adjacent efficiency apartments with private bathrooms. An interior walkway connects the apartments to the main house and pool area.

The large (4.40 meters wide by 8.90 meters long).and completely private pool, is not shared with anyone else. The pool has a shallow end of 1.19 meters (3.9 feet) deep and a deeper end of 1.66 meters (5.45 feet) deep. Next to the pool is a roofed anti slip ceramic floor terrace with a table with 10 chairs and chaise longues for sun-bathing and a gas barbecue grill.

The main house has two bedrooms with bathrooms that open onto the pool terrace. The Master bedroom has a King bed and the bedroom next to it has a Queen bed. The two bedrooms have a connecting door that can be locked off if desired. Both bedrooms have flat screen smart TVs, ensuite bathrooms and closet space with safe deposit box.

There are two large bedrooms, which we call apartments, are inside the property and are connected to the main house and pool area via an interior walkway. They have one full bed and two and three Twin beds respectively. Both apartments have flat screen smart TVs, ensuite bathrooms and closet space with safe deposit box.

The pricing quoted here is for the entire property. The full house base rate is for up to 9 people. Thereafter, an additional fee of $15 + VAT per person per night will be automatically added. Children under 3 years old are not charged this fee. The maximum occupancy is of 13 adults and 2 children under 18 years old.

* Pets allowed: only 1 dog of quiet nature that does not shed hair. A $25 + VAT pet fee per stay per dog will be requested, depending on length of stay. This pet fee does not cover damage caused by pet. Dogs must not swim in the pool or climb beds or furniture. The pet owner must collect and dispose properly of all dog waste.

Internet and cable didnā€™t work

The two bedrooms were connected so you have to walk thru 1 to get to the other. I had to work on this trip so not having internet was not good but the manager really tried and was very nice No discount for no cable or internet.

Wonderful stay

We ranged in age from 13 to 75-a family group of ten. This worked perfectly for us with enough rooms and bathrooms for privacy and rest when needed. The pool was so appreciated. Such a good size that we could all fit in! We are not used to hot weather so it was a much needed cool down each day. Thank you Gabriel. Cheers, Tricia and Jerry

Phenomenal Beach Home

I stayed at this property with my extended family (mom, siblings, etc.) over the week of Thanksgiving and we had a wonderful time! The property was spotless, fully equipped with everything we could have needed, and close to a lot of shops, restaurants and the beach. All the trips / add-ons they recommended, including airport transfer and Catamaran tour, were excellent. Would definitely visit Costa Rica and this property again!

The property is very close to the main strip in Jaco but just far enough to get away from it all. You will not need a car, unless you are planning on traveling outside of Jaco and that is not part of the many tour guides available. There's plenty of space to cook and entertain.

Great House

Very good house to rent, has everything you need in a house for a vacation. House is in the heart of Jaco and perfect location. Property Manager was very helpful and nice. We arrived late from the airport, he still came to meet us at the house and show us everything around the house. Also anytime i emailed him about a question he replied back asap. I will be back. I recommend anybody heading to Jaco, Costa Rica to rent this house.
