The cabin was very cozy. If you are looking for a peaceful little getaway away from home then this is your spot. Shawn was very welcoming. If we are ever in Salmon Idaho again we will definitely be staying at this location again!

Property owner/manager communicated promptly about multiple questions we had. We arrived at dusk and wish we spent more time there - it's definitely a tiny house but the location is special. Clean and comfortable and well ventilated and just a nice clean no frills place in a cool spot. This will be our go to for night before the Salmon River launch.

Great location for a fishing/hunting vacation. It is small but was perfect for the three of us that stayed. Had all the amenities to cook so no need to run back into town. Will definitely be back on future fishing stays.

Loved this very rural setting. We were a little concerned but it turned out to be very relaxing and a very cute cottage for our one night stay. Lots of elk and deer.

Lost Trail Ski Trip

Perfect location for the ski area. Last Chance Pizza and Pasta in the town of Salmon (30 min. South) is really good.Elk, deer, and turkey outnumber the people, so be aware on the roadway. Also be sure to have a good vehicle capable of driving in 12” or less of snow. Perfect little cabin that is in perfect shape. We plan to be back soon.

Quaint

It was perfect for a short stay! We had to ask for 2 extra mattress pads cuz it says it sleeps 6, but there was only 2 beds. Bit they were very accommodating and helpful to make sure we had what we needed. Beware - there is no railing on either of the lofts- which was concerning of having our children up there. But everything was clean and comfortable. And it was fun to see some elk up on the hill. It was in a pleasant and quiet place up on the hill.

Thank you for the great review. I know the loft railing have been a safety issue. I am in the process of building railings and should be done with them this week. Thanks for staying, Shawn and Sandra

tiny house "shome"???

It was really great for a quick overnight stay. Clean and pleasant and comfortable. A lot of cooking gadgets. The fancy coffee maker did NOT work and no instructions. It was a fun location up the mountain but not too far. But the directions received by the host could be simplified a bit. I understand it is a new build so it wouldn't show up on a map app. But we found it just fine. Good directions but just a little too wordy. Thanks for the hospitality.

Pontos positivos: Check-in

Closer then close

The cabin itself was ok...the Air conditioning was not vented outside so it blow hot air into the cabin that was already hot. We killed 3 wasps inside the cabin. The biggest down fall is there is no privacy. The listing says "close to our home" the cabin is in there driveway. You can only see in one picture if you look through a window. The rest of the pictures give you the idea of some distance. You couldn't feel comfortable being outside.

We apologize that your stay was not a great experience for you. Unfortunately, I had disconnected the air conditioning unit a couple days prior to your arrival. We had been experiencing cooler days and nights and I figured it was time to remove the vent. Typically, this time of year is cool and the AC unit is not necessary. I was out of town (with no cell service) when you were here and my wife was not aware of how to reconnect the system. We do our best to keep the bugs, wasps, and other insects out of the cabin. Unfortunately, being in the mountains definitely has its challenges. We hope you had a successful hunting trip, even though your stay with us was not what you had envisioned. We appreciate your feedback!
