Little House Of 82 Esplanade on South Haven's North Beach.

Cozy one bedroom, one bath house on the North Beach. Sliding glass doors in the living room lend a view of the water. Ideal for a romantic getaway or for a very small family, as there is a daybed in the living room which accommodates 2 additional persons. Fireplace heater in the living room for chilly Spring or Autumn evenings. Double bed in the rear bedroom. This rental is ideal for a couple or perhaps a couple with one or two small children as the Little House is LITTLE!!!
Knotty pine galley kitchen and bath with shower. Kitchen has coffeemaker, pots and pans, dishes, microwave, utensils. Patio area on rear deck with seating for four provided by patio table . Charcoal barbecue grill as well as gas grill on back deck.

Comcast cable and Wifi. Refrigerator, stove, coffeemaker, and microwave are provided.

Toilet paper, paper towels, bath and hand towels (2 per guest) coffee filters, and dish soap are also provided.

The Little House is located in the historic Monroe Park neighborhood and one can stroll downtown via the pathway along the Black River-which is bedecked with lovely flowers along the River.

Two night minimum reservations are accepted during late May, September and early October. Although weekly reservations are preferred during the summer, two night minimum reservations are possible during the summer. Please place your inquiry for a 2 night minimum in the summer with the owner first prior to booking.

Check in is anytime after 3 pm EST on the day of arrival and check out is at 11 am EST on the day of departure, in order to provide our cleaning service to thoroughly clean and sanitize the house between guests.

****PLEASE NOTE: The Little House is a summer house ONLY with NO central source of heat. **** The house is winterized in mid-October and water is turned off until mid-May when the house is dewinterized. . The house has a/c for the summer, and there are portable heaters and plenty of blankets to keep you warm during fall evenings, as well as a heater/ fireplace in the living room which throws off lots of heat.

Pet-friendly with additional dog deposit. The "piddle park" is just up the street from the Little House. South Haven is a very dog-friendly city!!

There are no laundry facilities in the Little House. Bed linens and bath towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.

Folding beach chairs (3) provided.

For parking, there are numbered spaces in front of the Little House and along the North Beach. ***Parking in these spaces is free from Sept 15-May 15.***
You may purchase a weekly parking sticker(this is the more economical alternative-I don’t recommend that you pay the daily rate of $10 at the beach parking station as you are assessed an additional $10 every time you move your car) from the South Haven Police Dept on Broadway, (I believe you can also call City Hall to order one).

The sticker enables you to move your car at any time and also allows off street parking in marked, designated areas along North Shore Drive and other public streets that read “Beach sticker parking only.”

There is a view of the North Beach from the sliding glass doors and there is a dedicated path from the sliders that leads back and forth to the beach.
