'The Retreat on Badger' completed in the fall of 2011 is fully furnished with leather reclining sofas, granite counter tops and a breathtaking view of Bear Lake and the valley.

Perfect for family reunions or for a couple seeking a quiet getaway in Garden City. Cabin offers amenities such as a 47' 3D TV with glasses and surround sound speakers, and pool table on site. Cabin is equipped with sheets, bath towels, and bedding with washer and dryer onsite.
Property features include:
• MAIN LEVEL offers a spacious open floor plan with wall-to-wall windows offering a breath-taking panoramic view of Bear lake, access to fully wrap-around covered trex deck, picnic and barbecue; a fully equipped kitchen with wood floors, 9’ center island with bar stools, granite counters, open dining and family room with vaulted ceiling, open exposed log beams, and gas-log fireplace; family room includes leather reclining couch, sofa and recliner, 3D TV with 3D DVD player, firestick and surround sound speakers with ipod/iphone adapter; half bath; laundry room with washer/dryer; and, master bedroom suite with double sinks, jetted tub and spacious shower.
• UPSTAIRS LEVEL is accessed by an open staircase to a loft overlooking the living room. A futon sofa (Full bed) and panoramic views of Bear Lake make it perfect for relaxing, reading, or enjoying games and conversation; two large bedrooms: queen log beds and full bath
• DOWNSTAIRS LEVEL provides access via staircase to the game room with SmartTV and DVD player, extra refrigerator, and pool table; two bedrooms: 1 queen log bed, 1 twin over full bunk and 1 twin over twin bunk.
* Kitchen includes dishes, knives and utensils, cookware and bake-ware, coffee-maker, dishwasher, microwave, side-by-side refrigerator, ice maker. Bathrooms and bedrooms include all bedding, linens and towels. There is a propane grill outside for use.
• This establishment is a NO smoking and NO pets allowed property. No exceptions made.
• AMPLE PARKING for vehicles, boats, trailers; minimum grade to parking, easy 2-3 steps to access main living area.

With year round access this recently completed cabin offers accommodations for skiing at Beaver Mtn, snow mobiling or summer actives at the lake.

Terrific Cabin

We have been coming to Bear Lake for over 15 years and this is the best cabin yet, clean, well stocked, easy to find, quiet and the host was amazing to deal with, coming back next year.

Lake house

The property is located in a great area overlooking Bear Lake. The home is very well set up, and close to all the attractions available in the area. Our children and grandchildren enjoyed the stay.

Great Cabin

This is a great place to stay! The property was very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. We had kids of all ages and there was plenty of room and things to do. They had plenty of games already there and the pool table and basketball was fun as well. This is a great place to stay and would recommend it to anyone

Beautiful View/Spacious House

We had 11 adults staying at this property. We had more than enough room for all of us. The home is beautiful and comfortable. The view of Bear Lake is gorgeous. We would stay there again.

Just what we needed

The property was just what we were looking for. Large stocked kitchen, great gathering table for eating and games, two living areas for relaxing and recreation and lots of options for sleeping arrangements. We only had one minor maintenance issue and the owner responded so fast! We would definitely stay here again.

Amazingly the best!

This was our 2nd time staying at Riley's property. This house is amazing. There is plenty of room for people to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds are great. The game room was great to play pool and shoot a little bit of basketball. Absolutely amazing! We will be back!

Family fun connection

We loved staying here as a way to connect family of 12. The cousins had so much fun. Corn whole tournament was so fun and so nice game board was provided. The lake close by allowed us tons of lakeside fun and the view from the cabin spectacular. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Another Great Stay

This was our second time at this home. Everything was perfect. The beds are very comfortable. The game room in the basement was enjoyed by everyone, but especially the grandkids. Loved the view from the porch. We had one cold and rainy day but did not feel trapped in this spacious home.

first time bear laker

We had 3 families (17 people) staying here and loved it. The kids enjoyed the rec room and outdoor playset. The adults liked the view, the decor, the space and the big tv. None of us had ever been to Bear Lake so we didn't know the set up but it may be important to note that although this place has resort access, it is not within walking distance. It was a quick drive (maybe 2 miles) down to the pools and lake and parking was easy and available. The house was very clean and well equipped. We were able to get all our questions answered quickly and accurately. I would recommend this property to others.

Great location but listing not accurate and communication spotty

Overall a great time was had. However sleeping arrangements were tricky because it was listed as being able to sleep 17 but that would include sleeping 2on a pullout only large enough for 1 and two bodies on couches that were not sleeper beds that were not comfy, & didn’t come with any extra bedding for the couch sleepers. Water went out one day add couldn’t get a response when I texted about it at all! It came back on after a while, but nobody checked in with us. WiFi was out for the entire day at the end of our stay. So not ideal. Kitchen well stocked. A nice snack provided when we entered. View amazing! Grandkids loved the play-set outside.

Good but not great

Great location, beautiful views, and nice layout. It was just not as nice as I'd expect for the price and compared to other cabins we've stayed at within the area. Here are some examples: cookware and dishes in cupboards were not clean, some linens were stained, no washcloths, wifi was SLOW (not strong enough to stream anything), broken parts in game room, ran out of gas for the grill after one use, and just over all not a well maintained cabin. There was no binder with instructions on the cabin, orientation to the area, or anything else. I don't think the owners or management company are doing enough to ensure the property is ready for the next stay, nor doing enough to keep it maintained to high quality standards. With some better attention to detail this would be an excellent stay.

Beautiful and clean, but no air conditioning

We just returned from this cabin and had a wonderful time! The cabin was very clean and there was so much to do! The pool table was a big hit as was the ping pong table. The ping pong sits on top of the pool table, so only one game can be played at a time. The kids loved playing outside on the deck, on the lawn, and of course the wonderful swing set! The beds were very comfortable too! I would give this five stars, but our biggest issue was NO air conditioning! It got very warm, so we had to go and get three fans to get the air moving throughout the cabin. One other concern was that the ice maker didn't make very much ice at all. We had to freeze water bottles in order to have ice water. Other than these two issues, it was a wonderful place to stay!!! We would love to stay here again, I'm just not sure we could handle the heat. If there was a/c, we would be back in a heartbeat! Thank you for the great experience and the beautiful and clean cabin!

We absolutely loved this cabin. We already rebooked it for next year. It has plenty of space with fun amenities like pool as well as an absolutely beautiful view. Best cabin we have stayed at in that area.

This was the best location for our family gathering. The cabin was perfect & scenery was beautiful.

Bear Lake Paradise!

Riley's home is one of the best we have stayed at. The kitchen is extremely well stocked, and the location couldn't be better. There is plenty of room to spread out and plenty of room for gathering of loved ones. This was the perfect central station for the many activities to do in the area. Book now if you have the chance. It is well worth it!!

Great views and fun stay

Check in time was 4pm. We had family that arrived by 4 but couldn't check in bc we hadn't received the door code. It took quite sometime before we were given access by the property manager. The cabin was nice and our stay was fun for the most part. There was plenty of room for our families. The deck was nice especially in the evening. We stayed 4 nights. I wish I could give 5 star but it was just before our checkout when things didn't go as planned. The a/c stopped working the last day of our stay. We had left early in the day for some activities and when we returned in the afternoon, we found the house warming up instead of cooling. I contacted the property manager immediately to which they said this was outside of their control but if they had known sooner they might have been able to help. So we spent the next 18 hours in misery bc the house was heating up. We left the windows open but it didnt provide us with much relief! The next morning was still hot while we packed our bags and did everything check out required. I requested a partial refund from the property manager for 1 night where the outcome was out of everyone's control. Even though the pm had asked what sort of discount I wanted they never responded to me asking for a partial refund. I never received a partial refund for 1 night. I wasn't asking for an entire night stay or anything else bc the home wasn't comfortable during our last day. Yes I realize things can happen outside of everyone's control. But I also would expect for some sort of compensation. I did everything I was supposed to do (making payments ahead of schedule and taking care of the property as if it were my own). Amazing how 1 day and no response can flip an experience. Several of my family members were very upset and thought I shouldn't do parts of the checkout process. But we did everything that was expected.

We loved our stay!

Amazing place to stay. We loved it! Plenty of room and space for everyone. Kitchen area has lots of space making meals easy. Nice to have different floors to space if all out, too. Owners are very kind and get back quickly with any questions. Fun family getaway for many ages. We are thinking it would also be a fun Summer getaway.
