Welcome to Capernaum Cabin! Two acres of fun in the sun with a private boat dock on Anthony Lake, and the only vacation rental on Anthony Lake with 2 bathrooms! Savor the sunrise with a cup of coffee on the deck, kayak around the lake, lounge on the dock, play a round of golf or disc golf, then gather round the firepit to catch the gorgeous colors of a Kansas sunset! Summer or winter, it's the perfect place for friends and family to enjoy a relaxing getaway from the city, a hunting trip, a small church group retreat, or a cozy romantic weekend.

A wonderful location to unplug after a long days work. So relaxing. Beds are comfortable and pillows are plush. You will see lots of wildlife both on the lake and in the yard.

House was equipped with everything needed. Loved all the extra blankets! Very comfy beds. It was warm enough for my girls to play in the water and kayak. Beautiful area!

This was a beautiful quiet retreat with direct lake access. We had a lovely time just sitting on the large porch and looking at the water. The neighborhood was very quiet and we got to see quite a bit of wildlife from butterflies, birds and turtles, to deer wandering past the cabin.

Very much enjoyed a family weekend at the cabin. The hosts were excellent at helping us with any and every detail of the trip. The cabin was very well stocked and exceptionally clean. I hope to use this cabin again in the near future.

I can’t say enough about this peaceful, serene property, the amazing and compassionate hosts, and adorable little town. We had a personal issue come up and Jody was so kind to go above and beyond to accommodate our needed changes, as well as offer support and help me work through my best options when I was questioning how to handle our reservations. This property is exactly what I needed to clear my mind and heart, my pup and I spent most of our time on the dock watching the birds and enjoying the peace. It offered lots of indoor and outdoor games if you have family with you, a kayak which I would have used if we had stayed longer, and the comfiest chairs to use on the porch and dock to bask in the tranquility.The town was so cute with an awesome little country shop full of fun items, and Kristy’s Cafe had the best wings and pizza I’ve ever had, and peach cobbler too. Although our weekend didn’t turn out how we planned, our brief time there was a welcome respite. Truly couldn’t have asked for better hosts or a more perfect home away from home. Thank you Michael and Jody!

Absolutely wonderful experience! Dock and lake are twenty feet from a covered porch where we spent 80% of our time. We will definitely try to use this Vrbo again!

Weekend getaway

Wonderful little lake house. So comfortable and homey. The view was amazing of the lake from the deck. Plenty of seating for company. Very well equipped with everything we needed. Hostess responded in a timely manner and was very accommodating. We would definitely love to stay there again in the future.

In town for a funeral

The house was great inside and out. It was peaceful and quiet. We had more than one family staying together and initially we wereconcerned that all beds were accessed from the primary bedroom but it really was not a problem and for the most part everyone had privacy. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!

Great

We brought our own kayaks and enjoyed swimming in the lake and kayaking across the lake. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch listening to nature in early mornings and late evenings. Very relaxing trip for my family. The hosts were very accommodating to allow us to bring our service dogs since my family members are disabled. The hosts furnish board games for people to utilize, but we brought our own board games and it was an enjoyable experience.

Wonderful time !

This property is very cute and clean ! Plenty of room for the 6 of us. Having 2 bathrooms is always a plus ! The fishing dock is nice, yes the lake is lower right now, but.. we still caught 6 keeper fish from the dock !! Thank you very much for sharing your property with us, we had a wonderful time.
