The Bev Doolittle Bedroom @ The Winchester House for all St. George activities.

Come and stay at the "Winchester House" where you can Rent ONE of our 3, "Themed" Rooms that we have available. You can stay in this Room, which is Southwestern and is called the "Bev Doolittle Room?" The Bev Doolittle Room walls are adorned with many of her prints.... Don't know who Bev Doolittle is? That is O.K, we can help you out there as we love to explain many of the Art Prints on the walls ( Most of which are MINE as I am a Photographer and I just can't help myself from sharing my own art also)
We rent out our Upstairs Bedrooms. Three SEPERATE Rooms and offer a lite meal in the Main Dining Room to start your day. ( We are "Out In the Country", but only 5 miles from downtown St. George where all of the "Tourist" activities are, so we don't want you to drive to town for your A.M. Meal and thus the Lite meal to start your day, served in the Main Dining Room, with all of the Luxuries of a Fine Restaurant added.)(See Photos)
We Live on the premises and so the Whole House is NOT for rent, just one of the 3 choices of Bedrooms....Hard choice I know as all are different and INVITING in their own way.
We DO encourage our Guests though to make themselves at home and not feel like they need to stay in their Room during their full stay, but the Kitchen is off limits to cook ANY MEALS AT ALL or even to make your meals that are not cooked. You may use the microwave upstairs and paper plates etc. but I DO NOT share my kitchen for more than making a pot of coffee. NO EXCEPTIONS !!!!
Come ENJOY, RELAX and unwind after a long day of traveling to Zion National Park, or where ever your heart desires to spend your days with us.
St. George Utah is noted for it's Red Hills and other points of interest.
Well, come and see us and enjoy your stay at "The Winchester House" (NOT A B& B, but close to it)

Comfortable and delightfully friendly

Diane and Denny are gracious, easy and delightful hosts. Many appointments throughout the home are unique, interesting and heartwarming. I loved the quasi-rural atmosphere and will definitely stay at Winchester house again on return to St. George.

Very much enjoyed our stay at Diane and Dennyā€™s B&B! Friendly, kind and gracious hosts. We felt right at home. The entire house is clean and inviting and the location is very peaceful. Added bonus: my wife and Diane discovered they are 8th cousins!

This place is absolutely beautiful and amazing! Due to my flight, I had to adjust checkin date and time and I was worried that I might cancel the reservation. However, the owner was so nice to work things out for me and be able to check in without any problems!

Visiting a Familiar Place

What a great experience, it was as if I visited a familiar place. My host, Diane, was waiting when I arrived - she send an email asking for my ETA, and made me feel at home immediately. My room was well decorated and the bed just as I like it. This was a perfect place for me visiting the area for a business retreat.

Country Beautiful !!

What a Gorgeous Home and my rooms was so unique. Bev Doolittle Photos on the wall and a Southwestern Theme in a Victorian Home. The home was clan and tidy and Breakfast was more than expected eating off of elegant tableware and with GOLD silverware. WOW !! I would like to make this my permanent home forever.

Down to earth and down home living

A beautful property with wonderful hosts

We had a wonderful stay with Diane while visiting St. George, Utah. This house is a short drive north of St. George and an even shorter distance from Snow Canyon and Tuacahn Amphitheater. Our room had a lovely deck to enjoy the sunset. Breakfast was made to order. You can't get better than this.

The house is beautiful and has an abundance of interesting furniture and decorations. Diane was very cordial and attentive to our needs. We recommend the hosts and the facility. Great room with the best host.

My wife and I stayed while looking at houses in the area. Diana and Dennis are great people and helped in anyway they could. Very friendly and willing to serve breakfast anytime thatā€™s best for you. Beautiful and clean home with great views. We would highly recommend staying here. I believe we came as guest and left as friends.

Lovely countryside setting

This is a big house on a big property. The three guest rooms are on the second floor. We stayed in the Wyoming room which is the best because it has a balcony with great views from sunrise to sunset. The jewel is the owner, Diane West who is very congenial with a lot of interesting stories. Easy access to St George and other sites by car. Breakfast is lite fare, would have preferred something more carnivores. Overall a great and relaxing experience.

Nice place - poor experience with payment

The room was nice in a lovely home in a safe rural community. There is no separate bathroom, but since we were the only ones there, it was fine. The breakfast was light, but very tasty. I'm sorry I must write a negative review of the process. I requested and paid for two nights before I found I needed only one night. I called the owner who informed me that the reservation did not go through, so I requested and paid for one night. I requested a refund for the two nights several times, to no avail. I am now forced to contact my bank to have them to handle it. I admit that I could not figure out how to request a refund through the VRBO web site. I found the whole process very confusing.

We have lived in Star Valley Wyoming for over 30 years, but have made our Winter Home St. George, Utah for 16 years now. We purchased the Winchester Home in 2008 and realized that we used 3 the upstairs bedrooms very little.
I love to decorate and so decided to make each room a "Themed" Room and we decided to share the joy of this beautiful home with others in February of 2015.

We Love living OUT OF Downtown and having a Rural Space to enjoy living in .
My Husband collects and works on Old/Classic Cars and thus we needed "Space" to do this.
Our home sits on 1 Acre of Land and we have a SHOP for him to work on his "BOYS TOYS".
