You have arrived at your home away from home!
Here, at the Goldfish Cottage, you can entertain your family and friends on the large patio with an awesome BBQ, shade trees and a straight shot to the beach! You can see the lake from the front porch!
Inside the cottage the living room and kitchen have plenty of room for all your guests to lounge about and hang out in. There are two bedrooms each having a double bed. The sofa is comfy, inviting you to come relax with a good book. And with the kitchen nearby, you can mix that perfect summer drink.

The small kitchen comes fully equipped to help you cook up a storm and serve delicious home cooked meals. With all the tools you need, you can cook with one hand while sipping on a wicked margarita of your own creation in the other.
The living room with it’s Google TV will let you stream all your favourite YouTube videos or NetFlix movies. Make some popcorn and binge watch all your favorite shows.

Plus, there is a lot to explore in and around Grand Bend. Access to the beautiful beach, hiking & biking trails, pubs & restaurants, golfing resorts, motorplex, theater, hot air balloon rides, wineries and so much more are all within walking distance or a short car ride away.
Goldfish is located right beside Starfish Cottage, so if you rent both cottages, you have the capability of having 10 people in your group!

Great location communication was great. Only problem was the cleaning staff was not up to par. In my opinion there were issues with the cleanliness in the bathroom. Also windows could not be opened as the mechanism to turn the windows was missing at almost all windows.The location was wonderful and would stay again for that reason.

Location was great, cottage is small but to be expected due to the age and location. One thing we did notice was the cleanliness was not as good as we had hoped. Thats not to say that the place wasn't clean, but you can tell that in some area it is only a superficial clean with many spider webs in corners and dust caked on fan blades. This was very minor, we still enjoyed the stay very much.

Great location, a block from the beach and from the main street. Beautiful deck on the front of the house to sit and enjoy the waterview.House is an old style cottage, a couple different levels, room add ons. Kitchen is small, no counterspace, but we weren't there to cook. Had a nice barbecue and a nice back deck that was very private. Well not spotless, the house was clean. We enjoyed our time there. The only negative I would have to say are the beds. They are old and mattresses are very very hard. I don't think we could have slept on them more than two nights. It would be an easy upgrade to just get new mattresses, and make your sleep more enjoyable.

Absolutely LOVED the Goldfish Cottage! It is so very quaint, has loads of character, is very spacious both inside and out. Perfect for 4 guests. Also it’s perfectly located, a 5 minute walk to the beach, views of the lake from the front deck & front windows and right of the fun Grand Bend strip - which was fun to listen to the music from the bars in the evening sitting on the porch. It was hard to leave & we hope to return someday. Thank you for sharing this very special place with us!

The cottage has a lot of charm, with lovely water views and just a short walk to the beach. The front porch and back deck are great spots to relax, though there’s no outdoor dining table, and the patio couch had a large hole in it, which was disappointing.Inside, the living space is cozy with A/C and a comfortable setup for relaxing. Bedrooms are small but fine. However, the kitchen and bathroom area (likely an addition) has a very low ceiling—around 5’10”—which made it difficult for my 6’4” partner to move around without hitting his head. This should really be mentioned in the listing.Midway through our stay, the gas line to the BBQ was shut off by the utility company. We had brought food specifically for grilling and reached out to the property manager immediately. While he responded at first and said he was working on a solution, we had to follow up ourselves and never heard back. The issue was never resolved, and there was no offer of compensation.Overall, the location is great, but tall guests and those planning to use the outdoor space or BBQ should be aware of these limitations.

Incredible Stay at Goldfish!

Goldfish Cottage has one of the best locations in Grand Bend with sunset views from the front porch. This cute cottage has tons of character with vaulted ceilings in the front room feeling very spacious and the "original cottage" in the back. Only reason for a 4 vs. 5 star rating was the weekend we stayed the Main A/C Unit was not powerful enough to keep the whole cottage cool (it was a July Heat wave 40C outside) and some of the doorways in the "original" part of the cottage are only 6' tall so it felt a bit small for me. However for my wife 5'2" and kids they loved it and loved the character location. Would definitely recommend for families or someone trying to stay at a reasonably priced cottage with incredible location, views, and close access to the beach.

Very cute!

Cute bright cottage in a perfect location less than a 5 min walk to beach. Beds and couches quite comfortable. It was perfect for our 3 night stay with my 2 teenaged sons.

Cozy cottage

Had a great labour day weekend here! The house is just off main street and so close to absolutely everything. The walk to the beach was quick and there was plenty to do near by. The host was quick to respond and keeps a very beautiful home!

Quaint cottage

Comfortable and simple cottage was great for my daughter and I. Front deck was fantastic as well as back deck for BBQ and lounging. Kitchen is very small but it’s a cottage. Location is amazing. Very enjoyable.
