Oceanfront remodeled condo unit with full ocean view, newly renovated heated pool and and deluxe barbecue facilities for guest use. This ground floor unit sits on 2 acres immaculately kept oceanfront lawn with the property overlooking
the lava rock tide pools where many enjoy snorkeling or turtle watching from the many loungers available for guest use. Access to the golden luxurious sands’ coastline of the famous Keawakapu beach begins a mere 100 paces along the walking path from the Surfside property.

The kitchen is fully equipped and applianced including a built-in microwave, dishwasher and garbage disposal. Porcelain flooring, maple cabinetry and granite countertops throughout the unit.

The living room has a new queen size sofa-bed and new recliner. 37" Cable TV with DVD player. Built in desk area.

The dining area has a round rattan glass dining table with 4 matching rattan dining chairs.

The lanai has a small bistro table and two chairs - the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or to end your day with an evening cocktail and sunset view.

The bedroom has a new king-sized bed with rattan furniture, plantation style shutters and 37" TV with DVD player.

The bathroom has granite countertops and a full-sized walk-in travertine tiled shower.

This condo is fully equipped with fresh linens and towels, hair dryer, iron/ironing board. All units have beach towels and a cooler. Umbrellas and snorkel gear are not supplied, but are often left behind in the units by other guests – no guarantees. The Kihei Surfside office loans out beach chairs free of charge during regular business hours - Monday to Saturday. Office is closed Sundays and Holidays.

The unit has free, wireless high-speed internet and free long distance calling to the United States and Canada. It is also equipped with a state-of-the-art Oracode door lock, whereby each guest is issued a unique code which controls the door only during their stay. No keys!

The front door of the unit is located adjacent to the elevator and next to the office, which is a higher traffic area. With the newly installed air conditioning, guests can keep the windows closed which significantly reduces disruption from this area. This ground floor unit is great for young families who want to be close to the pool, BBQ and lawn area.

Rates for one-bedroom units are for up to 2 people. 3rd and 4th persons in the unit are $25/nt for adults and $15/nt for youths 17 and under.

Kihei Surfside Resort is located at 2936 S. Kihei Road, South Kihei at the entrance of beautiful Wailea in a superior south Maui location. Virtually all the properties and resorts in Kihei are either located right on busy S. Kihei Rd., or if they are set back from the road – they are across from the street from the ocean. One unique feature of the Kihei Surfside is that it is located at the quiet end of S. Kihei Road, AND is set back 300 feet from S. Kihei Road AND is located right on the ocean! Because it is hard to see from the road, many first time Surfside guests say that even though they have visited Kihei many times, they had never seen the resort! Far enough from the main road to be peaceful and quiet yet walking distance to many restaurants and activities. This is the desert part of Maui, where the sun shines more than any other part of the island.

The resort consists of an absolute oceanfront concrete building of 6 floors and 82 deluxe units with an elevator The building sits on 2 acres of immaculately kept oceanfront lawn, where you can practice putting on the resort’s putting green or play many different lawn games available free at the front desk. The building and lawn are direct oceanfront overlooking lava rock tide pools and coral reefs where many enjoy some of the best snorkelling on the island, whale watching in season, abundant turtle watching or gaze at the blue Pacific and neighboring islands from the many loungers on the lawn or at the pool available for guest use. Access to the golden luxurious sands of the famous Keawakapu beach (voted Maui’s most romantic beach) begins a mere 100 paces along the walking path from the Surfside property where you can swim, snorkel, paddle board, kayak (rentals nearby) or relax at the beach.
The resort is located within a 5-minute drive of the world class golf, tennis, dining and shopping of the Wailea resort and a 5-minute walk to the Kihei Boat Ramp where you can join in whale watching, fishing or snorkelling tours. There is free parking on site. The resort is a twenty-five-minute drive from the Kahului Airport (OGG). Rental cars are available at the airport or in Kihei town. There are also taxis available at the airport (about $50), UBER, a shuttle bus and public transportation.

Maybe best of all, you can end your day with your favorite beverage in hand while using the commercial grade ocean-front gas grills to prepare a delicious dinner while dining on the oceanfront picnic tables and watching another stunning Maui sunset as gas-lit tiki torches add Hawaiian ambiance.
