Beach Bayby is a well-appointed, updated 2/2 townhouse in popular Pointe West. Elevator available for your convenience.
Being on the far west end allows our guests to take in the vast beauty of the island. Bring your binoculars for viewing the birds and wildlife. Sunrises and sunsets are priceless...

With your reservation, you'll have access to all the amazing amenities at Pointe West community. Beach Club wristbands are $25.00 per person for all above the age of 3, all seasons. You will automatically receive an invoice upon booking so you can either pay electronically or in person if you choose to purchase. At the resort, you will find an infinity pool, lazy river, large hot tub, kiddie pool, fitness center, game room, Sommer's Gifts, gas grills, cabanas that are available to rent, and a whole lot of fun! Explore and enjoy both the bay and beach side of this wonderful community. Grab a drink and take time to relax and enjoy the breathtaking sunsets! After arrival, when ready, check in at the beach club to pay for and retrieve your wristbands. ** Please keep in mind that activities, amenities, and hours can change without notice to us therefore please always contact them directly to make sure that whatever you are wanting to do is available and operational at the time of your booking.

Vendors have access to the homes on their scheduled day. Service days have the possibility of changing.
A laundry bag will be dropped off 1-2 days prior to departure. No need to worry, please leave it where it has been placed.
This rental property is not used for Nuisance Parties or Unlawful Gatherings. 6 adult maximum plus their dependent children are allowed at the property.
For your safety and security, there may be public-facing cameras installed on the property.

We do our best to ensure guests have a 5-star experience. Guests will be provided with a start-up supply of household items such as laundry soap, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc so that upon check-in you do not need to run to the store. We do not provide salt, pepper, oils, and spices. If you are staying longer than a few days you will need to purchase these items. Thank you!

May an amenity not work or fail during your stay we will do our best to make it right, and we can refund up to 10% of the affected nights to make it right. Great place, tv bad, distance to get to anything

The property was very nice. The tv setup was horrible. I tried to catch March madness whenever we were at the room and couldn't find a way to get network tv. Every tv also seemed to have a different setup. It's not what we were there for, but it definitely tainted the experience. Also, while the beaches and pools on the property were great, it was a 30 minute drive to get to almost anything else. It wasn't terrible, but it made for a lot of time on the car.

Renters Beware

Our stay in Galveston was a disappointment, and I feel itā€™s important to share our experience to help others make an informed decision. First and foremost, communication with the host was frustratingly slow and came from multiple email addresses, making it difficult to keep track of our conversations. When issues arose, the host was unwilling to reimburse any money, despite VRBOā€™s extenuating circumstances policy. This lack of responsiveness and accountability added a lot of stress to our trip. As for the property itself, it didnā€™t live up to the online pictures at all. While the photos made it look fantastic, the reality was quite different. The cleanliness of the property was subparā€”not horrible, but certainly not up to the standard we expected. The outdoor experience was especially disappointing. The mosquitoes were relentless, making it almost impossible to enjoy any time outside. On top of that, the lazy river pool, which we had looked forward to using, was a letdown. It was tiny, and the water was both hot and dirty, far from the relaxing experience we had hoped for. Overall, our stay at this property was not what we expected, and we left feeling let down. I would strongly advise future renters to consider other options in Galveston.

This is TWO separate reviews; the Condo and the Property

The Condo The condo was spot on; beautiful location in Galveston located right along the bay. The place was exactly as advertised, the back porch area definitely is the place to be around sunset. This was the great part of the stay. The Property Point West manages the day-to-day activities on the property. The $25 per person fee to use the amenities is absolutely not worth purchasing in the off-season. We bought two of the arm bands for the 5-night, 4 days stay. We checked in on Monday and checked out Friday morning. The gate code given to us was not valid; it was changed on Tuesday, and we were not notified (you have to provide your contact information at the time of purchase). So, we could not access either pool area. Finally seen a security guard after hours and were let into the main swimming area to find the game room was closed for renovations, and the restaurant and bar were only open on the weekends. The property is too large to walk between swimming areas, so you must drive a vehicle to get between them. The drive to the entertainment district of Galveston is 30 minutes one-way (during off season with no traffic). So, plan on excessive drive times during peak season. One final note, our elevator in our building contained a horrid pungent smell the entire time we were there. I am unable to use stairs and the property is not handicap friendly or useable by those with disabilities.

Comfortable and updated!

Very receptive property management which we appreciated. Some things to bring for this place: seasoning, cooking utensils, and beach accessories. There isnā€™t a storage for this unit as with the few others weā€™ve stayed at in Pointe West so they didnā€™t provide chairs and toys for the beach. Good thing we brought some things anyway. This place is also across the street from the club and beach access. It wasnā€™t a big hassle to get there really at all but not having to load and unload the car wouldā€™ve been nice. Otherwise we really enjoyed it here! Great view and super clean and updated. Seems they just put in new floors and furnishings.

Great Getaway

Absolutely loved this condo and Pointe West property. Highly recommend renting a golf cart to get around. The condo was well stocked in the kitchen. The views, man the view of the bay was beautiful. You will not be disappointed staying here, we will be back!

Close to the beach with beautiful bay views

Our family needed a summer escape & even though it rainedā€¦a lotā€¦we had such a wonderful time. This lived up to the sign in the living room, ā€œ Our Happy Place.ā€ Property manager was prompt & kitchen was well stocked. We hope to return next summer.
