Nice beach stay

3+/5 for stay overall; if we returned in the future, we wish we had a buggy/cart/“golf cart” would have helped with heavy loads walking to and from beach. Cleaning lady very nice, hard worker and accommodating for covid-19 health needs. Nice spacious size place for stay. Wish there was outdoor shower. Communication with owner is very nice and accommodating as best as possible. Beds are VERY comfortable. I would return to this place if I had a wagon/beach cart to Lug stuff around in.

Nice location, close to beach

For the price, the condo was adequate. The pros were: Nice owner, two blocks from the beach/ restaurants/shops on the boardwalk. There were bikes available and beach chairs to use. Nice new comfortable couches and all necessary furniture. All kitchen appliances and ice maker. Air conditioning. We felt safe. Cons: Instructions were available once we got in the condo. Prior to that, communication was inadequate, in my opinion. Sleeping was difficult. The laminate floor makes loud sounds when walked on, so if anyone rose to use the facilities, we were awoken. The bullfrog (maybe?), and other noises outside the window and door were loud at night. Lighting was an issue. Rather dark (but it was bad weather too). Some bulbs were burned out in the lighting, such as the bathroom. The handsoap was significantly watered down and there was no toilet tissue. It would have been helpful to know this ahead of time, so we could bring our own, rather than trying to find a place to buy it. The inside trash was behind broken bifold doors, with a bag in it which was much too small, so I kept plastic bags in the kitchen and used those instead. There was no recycling which is unfortunate. The key lockbox stuck, and we had a heck of a time getting the key out. We were not able to get the key back in it, as instructed when we left. The toilet handle broke, so we had to pull the plug up manually, through the tank water, when flushing, which was not fun, especially in the night. Overall, the condo served our purpose, since we were not there much, but I think a rating of a 3 is accurate.

Great weekend away

My friends and I rented here for a few days and it was fantastic! Rob and his wife were great hosts and made communication and answering our questions very easy and efficient. It’s also a great area with lots to do even in the off season!

Location and comfort

Just a few minute walk to the beach and great restaurants. Great mattress in master. Enjoyed having bicycles, beach chairs and umbrella. Nice little patio on the pond. Rob is easy to communicate with. Felt comfortable and really enjoyed the stay. We would stay again! Thanks!

The rooms and bathrooms are probably nicer than my own home. Obvious the owner takes pride in their rental and the place as a whole is inviting and full of beach vibes. Can’t go wrong staying here!

Wonderful getaway!!

Although the building is being renovated it did not cause any disruption. Very nicely stocked place in a wonderful area. Loved sitting on the peaceful back deck. Really enjoyed the place and the host was fantastic!

We wanted to take and extra vacation to get away once school was out after all the COVID stuff for several months. I stumbled upon this vrbo and had never been to VA beach. Once the weather started cooperating, we had a wonderful time. The owner was fabulous and the condo worked out great for us. We would definitely come back!!?

Vacation fun in Virginia Beach

Rob, the owner was great to work with and patient with us. He contacted us early to inform us about the wiindow /siding project ongoing during our stay. Also contacted us after because I left a few items behind. It was an older condo but had some nice updates. Location was great,close.to everything so we walked and rode bikes.

The location of the condo is perfect to all VA Beach activities. Almost everything needed is within walking distance or only a short drive away. Owner is super helpful, providing detailed arrival instructions, lots of extras like the use of bikes, beach chairs, DVDs, and games. He is easy to reach with any questions or concerns. Would absolutley stay here again!

Family Getaway

We traveled to Rob’s place for a short family vacation with our 2 year old. The place was a perfect size for us! Rob had all of the beach items that were needed and an in house washer and dryer was the perfect touch! The walk to the beach was perfect. Only 2 blocks away, about 5 minutes total. The only real complaint was the street noise (which is no fault of Rob’s), and once you got used to it, you didn’t really hear it anymore. Being on the first floor was nice for stroller purposes. Rob was always very communicative, which is always great in my book! We really enjoyed our stay! Thanks Rob!
