Hi Wendy, The final night was paid for because you requested a very late checkout, and we were unable to accommodate another guest as a result. You booked the dates yourself and stated on the day of check-in that you needed to keep that night, even though you were not staying, in order to check out at 3:00 p.m. Our standard checkout time is 11:00 a.m., and there was no request to change the booking dates. Regarding the sponge issue I will speak the owners. We dont do a new sponge after every guest because its a waste of resources but we try to replace it once a month not after every guest or sooner if needed. Thank you for letting me know about the rug and the doors. Had this been mentioned during your stay, I would have addressed it immediately. I will have those items checked. I’m not sure which holes you’re referring to, as I did visit the property to inspect it myself and did not notice any. Regarding the outside yard door, it does latch but does not lock. The lock was removed because the majority of guests were accidentally locking themselves out. Thank you for staying with us, and I appreciate your feedback.

Hi Todd, Im really curious why a lower star was given for this location as there is nothing writen. There were no issues with your stay reported other than there was a request for a very early check in that we couldn't accommodate.
