Relaxing outdoor atmosphere with many trees, creek for fishing, hiking. Cabin sits on 17 acres with lots of beautiful trees; sleeps 4-5; kitchenette; bath with shower; loft upstairs bedroom with king size bed. Downstairs futon pops out to a comfortable double bed. A rolloway bed is also available.

Several outdoor sitting areas with wrap around deck, television, both gas & charcoal grill, plus smoker at the grilling area. Perfect for a quiet vacation away from the hustle & bustle! Outdoor amenities include fire pit (unless the burn ban is in effect), Fishing, horseshoes, great area for hiking! Farm animals include longhorns, goats, chickens, ducks.

Always a pleasant getaway. This cabin’s location gives you the feeling of being in a remote peaceful spot yet it is actually close to so many amenities. There is plenty of space to explore on the property.

Everything in this home was amazing, everything we needed was available. The hosts were very accommodating and helped us with all our needs. This space was beautiful and perfect for what we needed. We feel very blessed to have been able to stay at such a wonderful location. We loved the peace and quiet at their little piece of heaven. We hope to come back soon

The cabin was cute and cozy! We loved escaping the city to unwind, relax, and enjoy the fresh air after our days exploring DFW. The owners, Johnny and Marilyn, are incredibly sweet and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our stay.We experienced two warm days and two colder days during our visit. We were glad we came prepared with warm clothing and pajamas for the chilly days and nights, as the cabin is heated by a small space heater. Marilyn also provided extra blankets, which helped keep us comfortable.We truly loved the beautiful property, the creek, and the farm animals, and we’re so grateful we found this sweet, charming cabin for our family vacation!

Great stay , great communication from host , incredible Texas hospitality . My family and I had an amazing time. The only possible thing that could have made the stay better was if our dog was able to be outside with us all the time, they have beautiful sweet doggie on the property but our dog is just skittish and kept getting intimidated so he was not able to enjoy the outdoors with us. 10/10 would stay here again and leave the pup at home. You won’t be disappointed with this sweet sweet Texas property.

What a wonderful place to stay, so peaceful and quiet. Absolutely love Marilyn and Johnny, great hosts. There were several baby goats born while we were there and we got to hold them. Just the best!!! Would absolutely stay there again!!

Peaceful Cabin Retreat

We had such a wonderful time during our short stay at this cozy little cabin! It's not a luxury getaway, but it’s full of charm, warmth, and everything a family needs to relax and enjoy nature.The cabin was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with the essentials. We especially appreciated the quiet surroundings and the peaceful atmosphere — it was the perfect place to unwind. Wonderful getaway

Wonderful cabin on sprawling property, this rental was just what I needed to get a mental break. Depending on your mood for the day you can sit under the covered porch in a rocking chair, or go on an adventure across the creek to see the longhorns and take a hike. The owners are wonderful people that really work to male your stay special.

Perfect Home away from Home

The photos can’t capture the tranquility of the location and coziness of the house.The location is breathtaking. It’s spacious and serene. If you are looking for a place to escape the rush of the everyday this is the spot to enjoy and reset. There are a lot of activities to do, there’s sitting areas outside, horseshoes and a creek nearby. The pond is also nice to enjoy.The house has many amenities needed for your stay. There’s a kitchen with refrigerator able to fit some beverages and some groceries. We cooked breakfast the few days we were there. There are many restaurants about 2-3 miles away from the house. Marylin’s (our host) recommendations were good choices. This was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway and I definitely recommend staying here.I appreciate Marylin’s quick response to my questions and her checking to make sure we arrived safely and to ask if we needed anything. Overall a pleasant stay! Looking forward to returning.

Wonderful

In town for a doctor's appointment for the wife and could not have been more pleased with this cozy place. Thoughtful little treats throughout. My only complaint was the shower but I am a pretty big guy.

Great way to clear your head

I chose this location as a place to clear my mind after a traumatic event in my personal life. Not only were the hosts very kind and gracious, but the location was perfect. I was able to explore the grounds and visit the animals and go on some nice hikes in the woods. It was relaxing and exactly what I needed. I highly recommend this property.

A Hidden Gem

This cabin is beyond wonderful. Clean, comfortable, and beautiful. There are plenty of activities, amenities, and hidden gems throughout the property. The owners are right there if you ever need anything and you always feel welcome. As a bonus, the area nearby has everything you might need for your stay. I recommend this cabin a million times over.
