Fish on Log Cabin Rental Got Fish We Do!!

Just bring your clothes and poles and relax in our 2-bedroom 1 bath log home. Just 3 min from the river and 10 min to town. Or just sit on the covered porch and enjoy with a book and watch the wildlife or your favorite beverage. Our home has all log furniture and a queen bed in the master bedroom with queen bunk beds in the 2nd bedroom. Save money BBQ, Smoke, and process your own fish and store them in our 2 large freezers. Want help planning your trip or choosing a guide I will be glad to help you make the right choices to make your trip something you will never forget.

PLEASE NOTE : I do not supply Laundry soap ,dishwasher soap, vacuum bags , shampoo & coffee.

Antibacterial soap & two rolls of toilet paper are provided .
We advise that you purchase your basic household items and groceries before coming up to the cabin.

The cabin is 15 minutes away from a major grocery store.

Once again, this cabin was absolutely perfect for our needs. Everything a fisherman needs inlcuding deep freeze, fish processing area and vacuum packers. Perfectly situated. 15 minutes to Soldotna and located perfectly between Seward and Homer. This was our 2nd stay at this property and the owner is very responsive and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this property for anyone, any reason, any time. Thanks Curtis!!

The owner takes pride in the house, inside and on the porch the property was exceptionally clean, the interior carpentry (knotty pine plank) was very nicely done in and finished, the decorating was great (so long as one is not offended by hunting). The kitchen was well equipped, and the bedrooms and the bathroom had more than enough linen and towels. The dining table is a bit tight for more than a couple people, not a big deal.Highly recommended for a couple, or a couple with kids or two couples that don't mind sharing a single bathroom.

Scott Thank you for your stay; my cabin is geared toward the hunting and fishing thyme. And the table that seats 6 is a little tight. We have 3 queen beds futon, and a hide abed Weve had 3 couples and children there before, but I agree having single bathroom is always a challenge if there is more 1 (believe me I have been there) LOL Thanks again Curtis (Fishon!)

Our time at Fish On was great! The cabin was very clean and well stocked with what we needed. The location is quiet, yet located in an area where there are many things to do. Curtis was very good about checking in and making sure we were having a good stay. We have stayed at Fish On before and plan to stay again in the future.

Great cabin

The cabin was a perfect spot to locate on the Kenai Peninsula. The place was clean, quiet and had everything you would need to call it home for a few days. Curtis was easy to work with and was quick to answer questions and give suggestions.

Great place to stay!

We loved our stay at Fish On! Curtis was great about calling and following up. The cabin was very clean and decorated in a way to make it feel very homey. We had everything we needed while staying there, and we loved the quiet location. Thank you, Curtis, for our great stay at Fish On! We hope to return!

Nice Cabin

It was such a cute cabin, loved all the decorations:-). Great location, had everything for fishing and a nice grill. Curtis reached out before our visit and was extremely helpful:-) Could have had more kitchen amenities and been somewhat cleaner.

Wonderful cabin close to everything!

We had a wonderful time staying at Fish On! It was exactly as described, plenty of space for the 4 of us and a great location for all that we wanted to do. Look no further- this one’s a keeper! Thanks again Curtis for the fantastic stay!

Favorite place to stay

I book this cabin every year for a father’s and kids Alaskan fishing vacation. The cabin itself is beautiful, it has all the supplies we need to cook while we are there. It has ample freezer space to freeze our fish before flying back to Washington. We have always felt safe and appreciate the quietness of the cabin, one year we saw a moose!

This property was better than the descriptions and photos. Very impressed and will definitely visit again. VRBO needs to create a new category for Curtis, the owner. Great communication, great recommendations for charters, great amenities at the cabin, i.e. deep freeze, vacuum sealer, overstocked kitchen, great beds, extra fishing equipment. Everything perfect. 5 stars for the property and Curtis. Thanks Curtis.

Great place to be centered between Homer and Seward with many places in between! We’re going to have to get back from Central Oregon again to cover more trails and rivers.

Repeat customers

We’ve stayed here before and booked again because the Fish On Log Cabin is the perfect size for our group, located centrally to all the places we wanted to visit, and is well appointed with all the things we need/want - including an extensive movie library! The washer/dryer is also a huge bonus and much appreciated. Communication with Kelli was speedy when we had questions about trash/recycling too - thanks Curtis and Kelli!

Everything was very good. Probably the best stocked rental I have ever stayed in. Thank you so much for the vacuum pacer and use of the cooler and freezer. Only issue was the dishwasher didn't work.

A fisherman’s dream

Curtis has a cabin that is set up perfectly for people looking to experience the Kenai peninsula and fish. His set up is ingenious and his cabin is so beautiful. Thanks for everything.

Beautifully decorated very clean

The house was beautiful and very comfortable. Did miss cable TV and internet. Lots of places to fish we did better On our own than with a guide. People were very friendly. I would recommend this to anyone who likes comfort and fishing.

Awesome Cabin

This was a wonderful place to stay! Everything was as advertised and then some. It is the quintessential cabin, with furs and wood carvings. We loved the extra fishing gear to borrow, vacuum packers and freezer room. Add a washer and dryer and the gorgeous views! We will be back for sure. Thank you Curtis for sharing your beautiful place, and Sarah for having everything so clean. Fishon cabin is a treasure!!

Alaskan Treasure

The cabin is just beautiful. Everything is very clean, warm and welcoming. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots, pans, a vacuum sealer and freezers. The location is amazing for fishing and wildlife viewing or just relaxing. An hour and a half one-way to Homer, Alaska and a hour and a half the other way to Seward, Alaska. The easy drive to both has the most beautiful views with so many places to stop for pictures. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a great Alaskan getaway. Thank you for creating this beautiful space and sharing it with others.

In 1998 my wife and kids and I made a once in a lifetime trip to Alaska little did I know what that trip would do to me. 15 years later and I sttill cant get enough.

Sterling is centrally located between Homer 90 min (halibut capital of the world) and Seward 90 min A beautiful must see destination and fishing port. We are 3 min from our fishing hole at the Kenai and yet we are only 10min to down town Soldotna. We can sit right on our porch with our favorite beverage and watch the wildlife stroll through the property. Quiet and perfect

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

You cant say enough about the fishing ( kings, sockeye, silvers, pinks,) not to mention trophy trout and dolly varden. theres also a lake canoe system right behind our home with all the lakes connected by creeks and streems or you can canoe all the way to the cook inlet. and canoe rental and shuttle 2 miles from the cabin
