Stunning Gite with Private Pool and Large Garden

My husband and I are from Scotland, currently living in Edinburgh. We have been lucky enough to have a place in the sun now for almost 20 years. The house has been a labour of love as it was in very bad and neglected condition when we took it on. We've kept it simple as we believe that reflects the house and its personality best.

We fell in love with the house even on paper, and then more in the flesh, delapidated though it was. Neffies is a very buzzy village with a truly welcoming community for French and us foreigners alike. We are lucky to call our French neighbours friends. Our 3 restaurants are the envy of many of our friends who don't live in our village. We are a short drive from the hub of much of the local activity in the classically French town of Pezenas, with its markets and wine festivals. So much going on there and in many of the other market towns around us.

We love the garden although it still has a long way to go to reach the vision in my mind. It was a big clean up and now we are putting it into some kind of shape again. There is a lot of space around the house, and while we have neighbours, we feel very private. There is a sense of peace in the house and the garden that we very much enjoy and hope you will too.
